    WWE Talent Releases April 2021

Mickie James and Billie Kay have both been released as of this moment. Thread title is what it is because reports are that more casualties are likely on the way.

Add Chelsea Green, Kalisto, Wesley Blake, and Tucker to the list.

I thought that Mickie left a long time ago.

A damn shame about Billie though. Instead of doing something with the Iconics they broke them up and now this.

You'd think they'd be better off re-purposing Billie Kay as a valet than just dumping her. She seemed like a decent, funny character from my glimpses of her that there's probably gold in the right pairing...like just have her manage Peyton.

Re: WWE Talent Releases April 2021

That's kinda crazy they've been pushing Billie Kay's act so much to the point where she got on the mania card. Shocked by that release.

Mickie they haven't used in forever, shame she's not gonna get a farewell. But she'll be back as a HOF'er in a few years time anyway. I'm sure Impact will make a play for her, but AEW should really reach out to get a veteran hand in that division, regardless of the stigma of signing any WWE veteran.

Chelsea Green had the worst luck getting injured on her first match on Smackdown. Very stop start run in NXT too. Would bet the house she's AEW bound, they used her at All-In and Brandi is good friends with her.

Kalisto is someone that strikes me as being able to land on his feet elsewhere based off his former indie run. Wouldn't mind seeing him in ROH or NJPW's Jr division.

    Samuray del Sol is back!

Is it bad there's a bunch of talent I HOPE they release so they can actually wrestle to their full potential again?

Joe gone is a surprise. A perfect pick up for AEW though.

Bo Dallas has just been confirmed, and he isn't. Has he even been used since the last round of cuts a year ago?

If Joe has any gas in the tank I will gladly check him out wherever he goes. Definitely unexpected. His WWE run ended up pretty underwhelming all things considered, after a great run on NXT.

Wonder if Velveteen Dream and Aleister Black survive this?

Oddly I read a story earlier that Black was filming promos for his return, so I don't think he's getting the chop.

Peyton's out too. No surprise since they already released the IIconic they were actually doing something with.

AEW seems an obvious landing spot for her.

    I'm fearing for Nikki Cross.
