Anything would be better than having him on commentary.

Corey Graves is absolutely the biggest poser there is. Dude made a living being the watered down CM Punk style punk outcast. Then quickly became a gigantic fatcat corporate sellout who can't wait to lick the WWE boot

WALTER vs Fraser on NXT UK this week was good stuff, a strong farewell match and he made Fraser look like a future star

I mean when CM Punk joined the UFC he literally became everything he had bitched about for years. So Graves has just been living up to being the watered down CM Punk.

Id say Punk became that when he joined WWE in 2005. He basically sold out.

You can't expect these amazing workers to stay in ROH working for peanuts when they could become one of the biggest stars in the industry by going to WWE and getting paid a ton for doing it. It's just standard job progression.

Graves getting clared at the optimum time of the year with the Rumble and Wrestlemania iminent. I think it's odds on that he'll be in the Rumble. A match vs McAfee at Mania? Sure, why not. I'd rather that than see a celebrity match.

I was just joking but at the same time a lot of the bands he listens too dont sign to major labels and get by just fine by grinding it out. Obviously wrestling is different than the punk/hardcore scene but still id imagine him listening to H2O or Madball or even early Rancid, hed instill that mindset to wrestling. Most didnt sign to majors( job progression). I guess i half expected him to follow that path. And any bands that did, most went back to independents. I even remember reading an article where he poked fun at Offspring for changing their sound and not being punk anymore.

At the time when he was in ROH, im sure they werent paid a lot but they had the freedom to work other companies. ROH during Punks run, runs a hell of a lot less than WWE or AEW. I think they did 2 shows a month.

im not knocking him. obviously do what you gotta do.

According to SRS, Sami Zayn has re-signed with WWE. I figured he would after Kevin Owens re-signed last month.

Like you said, it's no great surprise to hear this after his best friend re-signed. They both have plenty of time left in their careers to go somewhere else post-WWE if they wish, given that it's not uncommon for male wrestlers to continue wrestling well into their mid-late 40's and even early 50's, and especially with AEW for example offering older wrestlers a chance to come in and continue to be an active part of things by using them wisely.

Sami Zayn is currently as entertaining as he's been in WWE. His stuff with Brock a while back was incredibly entertaining and the stuff he's doing mocking Jackass (like he did on Smackdown last wee) is also hilarious, albeit very hockey. I hope they repay him for all of that with somethign significant at some point. I'd be all for him eventually winning the IC title back off of Nakamura (seeing as they're doing nothing with him as champion anyway), that could be a decent Wrestlemania match so that Nakamura and Boogs can perhaps go on a tag team division run.

A shame. He's a phenomenal wrestler, an incredibly captivating promo guy and he's proven himself to be super creative too. He also has several years left on his deal by all accounts so guess he's going to have to suck it up for now.

    WWE logic:

Can you believe those barbarians over in AEW would stoop low enough to showcase blood on women?! Awful!

    Also WWE logic:

Check out the newest episode of Broken Skull Sessions with Becky Lynch. Remember that LEGENDARY shot of bloody Becky? ICONIC!

The 3 longest reigning WWE Champions in WWE modern history:

    524+ Roman Reigns
    503 Brock Lesnar
    487 CM Punk

All managed by Paul Heyman during their title reigns. Incredible

I disagree personally, but I can apprciate that he's an aquired taste. I think his genuine passion and excitement brings a lot to the Smackdown, which is a boring show at the best of times these days. He does tread a fine line between being entertaining and overbearing sometimes though.

I love the ring announcer for NXT. Her voice is very sexual.

I don't have the highest of hopes that it will be a good show, but I bought tickets for Monday Night Raw on May 16. First time I've been to a WWE live event since 2015 and I think the last full episode of Raw I saw was from...2008?

Lacey Evans is supposed to be at the Smackdown event tomorrow. Maybe she goes to SD and Raquel goes to Raw?

Dragunov vs Strong from NXT UK this week kicked some ass. I liked Ilja's defence against Carter, but this was a cut above. Well worth checking out.

It's kinda hilarious that they've accidentally given Sonya Deville a gimmick of being racist. Like she spent six months using her magical GM jacket to abuse her power and feud with Naomi specifically and make sure Naomi was not featured on Smackdown for no real reason other than... because. And then she shows up on Raw and attacks specifically Bianca Belair... because.
