Matrix Plays WWE2K19 Universe Mode: A New Era

It was the start of a new era in WWE as the rosters were about to get redrafted and WWE COO Triple H was given more responsibility, including assigning GM's for Raw and Smackdown Live to draft the rosters. His first choice was an easy one, his best friend Shawn Michaels was given the job of running the flagship show Monday Night Raw, as for Smackdown Live, he went with a wildcard, giving the job to The Miz, who asked for a chance to try his hand at doing something different in WWE. At the start each brand was given 30 male draft picks and 12 female draft picks with the ability to draft teams as one pick unless they only wanted 1 member of the team. However in the time since then, both brands have brought in a few extra people to expand the rosters. For the sake of a clean start to a new era, all championships were vacated at the start, though new champions were crowned by the end of the first PPV, King of the Ring. Now to the rosters.

A small note: For the sake of realism/my personal preference, I won't be using any legends (outside of Kurt Angle and technically Paige). I also don't plan to involve too many CAW's but obviously there is some involved currently, and I have a couple other people I intend to use as well. The way this works is I play the matches on 2k19, and what happens in the match (moves, winners, any interference), will be what I write up for matches here. As for segments, the promo engine on the game is so terrible that I refuse to use it, instead I'll be coming up with my own segments to do. I'm currently thinking I'll do recapped matches for weekly tv and full matches for PPV, with recapped segments rather than writing them in full but I'm not 100% sure yet and open to suggestion. I've been doing this for a few months elsewhere and I'm really enjoying this, the first show I post will be Summerslam. But before that, I have a long write up I did of the build to the Summerslam matches to post as well as a couple other important storyline notes. Any questions feel free to ask.

    The Build To Summerslam...

No Holds Barred Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Kevin Owens vs Daniel Bryan (c)

Back at King of the Ring, Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns to win the vacant championship, and after retaining against Roman at Backlash, a new challenger stepped up for Money In The Bank in the form of Daniel Bryan after winning a contenders match, and he was quick to point out how Owens has never beaten him in a match, with Owens arguing they hadn't gone 1 on 1 before. Things got heated due to this though and it led to a hard hitting match at Money In The Bank, where Owens hit Bryan with everything he had in him, and not being able to put him away. Bryan however had his own struggles as every time he went for the Running Knee, it was blocked. However finally on a 4th attempt he was able to hit it and put Owens away, once again picking up a victory over Owens. Going into Summerslam, Owens has let his frustrations boil over and he demanded his rematch be made a No Holds Barred Match, with the new champ happy to accept. A twist came into the feud on the way to Summerslam though as Daniel Bryan wanted to prove he was a fighting champion and offered an open challenge to anybody who had never won a singles title in WWE, enter Heath Slater. Bryan was dominating the match with him until Kevin Owens slid into the ring from behind while his music played, and dropped Bryan with a Stunner which led to Slater getting a big win, and the next week getting a title shot with Owens managing him for the match and causing multiple distractions, but Bryan managed to retain. That same night Bryan attempted to get some revenge after Owens's match against Chad Gable, running out to attack him, only for a Running Knee to miss and lead to him being dropped with a Pop Up Powerbomb. On the go home show before Summerslam, Bryan dared Owens to put his #1 contenders status on the line and he agreed, which led to facing Brian Kendrick, and after a surprisingly hard fought battle, he managed to put down Kendrick. Now they will look to settle their differences in a No Holds Barred Match with Owens looking to finally get a win over Daniel Bryan, while Daniel Bryan looks to send Owens to the back of the line and move on.
Six Pack Elimination Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Ricochet vs Adam Cole vs Seth Rollins vs EC3 vs Cesaro vs Aleister Black (c)

Aleister Black had been on a roll as IC Champion before running into the newly returned Cesaro, who christened himself as "unchained". Cesaro had debuted a new look, a much more aggressive in ring style and two new finishers, and he managed to submit Black in a open challenge match, along with eliminating Black from a battle royal for a spot in Money In The Bank. On the go home show before MITB, Cesaro challenged Black for the title and after a brutal battle with both guys beating the hell out of each other, Cesaro managed to pin Aleister Black after two straight Piledrivers. The next week, Cesaro was confronted by all 5 men would come to be his Summerslam opponents who wanted shots at him, with EC3 and Rollins using win streaks as their claim to a shot and Adam Cole using his King Of The Ring Tournament victory to claim a shot. Ricochet was the only man without much of a claim, but he went on to a couple matches vs the other challengers, leading to a six pack elimination match being made with Aleister also getting a 1 on 1 rematch the next week in an Extreme Rules Match. Cesaro and EC3 have developed some bad blood between themselves along the way after EC3 stole a cheap win over Cesaro thanks to his manager Drake Maverick causing a distraction, and Cesaro beating the hell out of both of them afterwards. Come time for the Extreme Rules Match, Aleister Black won another brutal and bloody war with Cesaro, both of them having to use multiple finishers and a lot of weapons to try and keep each other down. Cesaro has promised to eliminate everybody in this match starting with EC3 and ending with Aleister, Ricochet and Seth Rollins have developed a friendship after having a very good match against each other and Ricochet has warned everybody not to count him out, Drake Maverick has sung the praises of EC3 nonstop promising to lead him to championship gold, and Adam Cole has said the "golden prophecy" must be completed with him winning this match. Aleister Black has been taking on all comers since day 1 and he's promised to make all his opponents fade to black, but who will walk out the IC Champion?
    Six Man Tag Grudge Match:
The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and The Usos) vs Balor Club (Finn Balor, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows)

It all started with a rough go of things at the beginning for all 3 members of the Balor Club, and Finn confronting Gallows and Anderson backstage and telling them they needed to make a change, asking them to join them. They agreed and the trio vanished for weeks, before finally returning after Extreme Rules with Finn Balor having a singles match with Roman Reigns, but coming up just short, leading to Gallows and Anderson attacking post match just as it looked like Balor was going to shake hands with Reigns. The trio beat the hell out of Reigns until his cousins came to his rescue, and in a tag match the next week, Gallows and Anderson put down The Usos. Things have gotten personal with Balor Club saying The Bloodline are part of "the problem" in WWE, three guys who always get opportunities no matter what and promising to hurt them. Roman and The Usos responded with Roman bringing up Finn being a world champion for 1 day ever on the main roster and failing every time he tried to win it back because he's just not good enough and without channeling the demon, he's nothing. The Usos called out Gallows and Anderson for trying to take them out when they debuted in WWE and failing, and promising they'd fail again. After weeks of trading insults and a few different matches, it's all come to this, 3 on 3 and only one team is gonna walk out with the victory.
"Tap or Nap" 2 Out Of 3 Falls Submissions or Knockouts Only Match:
Samoa Joe vs Drew McIntyre (c)

Samoa Joe won the vacant title on the first night of The Miz's era of Smackdown in an 8 man elimination match, and he was looking unstoppable as champion, until he ran into Drew McIntyre at Money In The Bank. Despite the impressive run Drew had been on to that point and the physical stature of Drew, Joe seemed to almost under estimate him going into Money In The Bank, and after a hard fought bloody match, Drew dropped Joe and ended his reign after a Future Shock DDT followed by a Claymore Kick. Drew simply called it finally living up to the former "Chosen One" moniker and while he's gotten cocky, Samoa Joe has gotten angry, partly because Drew decided to attack him after winning the title just to lay him out again. Joe wanted to hurt Drew, but Miz played spoiler on that and informed them that they were banned from touching each other until Summerslam, with threat of being replaced in the match forcing them to agree. Joe was thrown to the wolves along the way, forced to fight Kane and Dijak in a Monsters Ball Match along with a second match with Kane inside a Steel Cage due to Drew getting to choose his opponent and the match type. With both guys wanting to ensure only one man was going to walk out of the arena, The Miz came up with a brand new match type called a "Tap or Nap Match", the only rules are you must win by submission or knockout, and it's 2 out of 3 falls. On Drew's end, he's had a mini feud going with Tyler Bate, with Drew trying to make him get more aggressive, telling him he'll never succeed without doing so. This has lead to 2 matches with Bate, with Bate giving him a good fight both times but being unable to score an upset on Drew, and Drew kicking his head off with Claymores both times. Now champ and challenger are about to collide, and Samoa Joe is chomping at the bit to get his hands on Drew McIntyre again while Drew is looking to put down the Samoan Submission Machine again and prove this is his era.
Triple Threat Tornado Tag Match for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles:
Revival vs Bludgeon Brothers vs War Raiders (c)

The Street Profits were the first Smackdown Tag Champs of the new era with Miz in charge, defeating War Raiders and Bludgeon Brothers in a ladder match in a bit of an upset, but they didn't have them too long before they ran into the War Raiders in a normal match, and they steamrolled them to take the titles. War Raiders then proceeded to run through the Profits again along with a couple other teams. Meanwhile Bludgeon Brothers began picking up wins themselves and Revival gained a member in Drew Gulak after the three of them realized they think similar and bonded over it, with Gulak officially joining Revival after he helped them win a six man tag match against Lince Dorado, Kane and Oney Lorcan. Gulak began showing Revival some tips and tricks, and they went on to win a couple matches with New Day while The Bludgeon Brothers finally confronted War Raiders, and managed to beat them in a long, grueling match. The next week both teams of challengers confronted War Raiders wanting a title match, and it lead to a #1 contenders match that ended in a double countout, with War Raiders coming out post match to tell both teams they'd see them at Summerslam. Now all 3 teams will finally do battle with the titles on the line. The champs will look to keep rolling while the Revival look to stay undefeated ever since joining forces with Gulak, and Bludgeon Brothers will look to begin a second reign as SD Tag Champs.
    Smackdown Women's Championship:
Candice LeRae vs Sasha Banks (c)

Bayley was the first Smackdown Women's Champion and after winning it, she got a surprise as her best friend Sasha Banks became her first challenger. On the way to Extreme Rules, Sasha Banks won a match that let her pick the stipulation for her match with Bayley, and she choose a match that she felt gave her the biggest advantage, Submissions Count Anywhere. Bayley realized this and quickly began working on developing her submission game, beginning to use the Koji Clutch, giving her a new weapon going into the title match. At Extreme Rules, despite it being no DQ neither woman went for a weapon, fighting fair until the end, when Sasha Banks got frustrated at not being able to finish off her friend, and grabbed a steel chair to beat her with before making her tap to the Bank Statement. On the way to Money In The Bank, a few women on Smackdown, including Candice began picking up steam as Sasha headed into a rematch with Bayley. Candice put on a show in the Money In The Bank Match, nearly winning but coming up just short while Sasha dealt with Bayley accusing her of putting titles before their friendship by using a chair with Sasha insisting she never did anything wrong. They had a fair straight up match at Extreme Rules, with Sasha winning after countering a roll up into a roll up of her own, and the next Smackdown Bayley admitted she overreacted, and apologized to Sasha, but asking for one more match with her.

This however didn't set well with the rest of the division as multiple women came out on stage and claimed enough was enough and it was time for a new challenger. This lead to The Miz announcing there would be a 10 woman mini royal rumble to decide who faced Sasha Banks at Summerslam. In the mini rumble, Bayley and Becky Lynch started the match with Bayley doing so by force and Becky doing it by choice, and Candice LeRae coming in at #8. Despite a late entry, Candice still had to go through most of the field to win, and after last eliminating Becky Lynch, she won in what many considered a huge upset. Now she's set to do battle with the boss, and she knows she's heading into the biggest match of her career as a major underdog, but Sasha Banks isn't under estimating her. The two have had a couple exchanges of words but no violence leading to this match.
    Raw Tag Team Championship Match:
Heavy Machinery vs Undisputed Era (c)

Undisputed Era have been on a tear as champs, they've put down Breezeango, The Hardy Boyz and American Alpha, albeit not without some cheating. Heavy Machinery began gaining momentum after Otis pulled off a big upset to earn a spot in the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match by winning a battle royal and even scoring a shock win on Adam Cole, and they took advantage of that momentum by winning a 4 way #1 contenders ladders match. Meanwhile Fish and O'Reilly helped Adam Cole turn on Roderick Strong early into the new era of WWE, beating the hell out of him after the 3 deemed him the "weak link" of the group after he failed to capture gold or win any matches early on. Now both teams look to keep rolling and walk out with the World Tag Titles.
Submission Match For The Raw Women's Championship:
    Charlotte Flair vs Asuka (c)
At King of the Ring, Peyton Royce shocked the world and captured the Raw Women's Championship in a Cage Match with Ronda Rousey due to escape, and shocked the world more by pinning her in a rematch with some help from Billie Kay. However after that, The Iiconics ran into Asuka, however Peyton escaped the first match with her with the belt by countout. This lead to Asuka getting a rematch at Money In The Bank in a match with Billie Kay banned from ringside and Peyton Royce being warned she would lose the title if she was counted out or DQ'd, and this is where Asuka finally captured the Raw Women's Championship for the first time. Asuka then dealt with not one, but two rematches with Peyton, one including Billie as they tried every trick they could think of to take the belt back with no luck. After the second one, she was confronted by Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, both wanting a title shot and leading to a #1 contenders match later in the night, which Charlotte won.

Charlotte has thrown into Asuka's face nonstop how every time they face off Asuka taps out, but this isn't the same Asuka she fought before, due to the antics of the Iiconics, Asuka has channeled a darker, more aggressive Asuka, an Asuka that she calls the Asuka death machine. With both women feeling confident and Asuka wanting to really face her demons, Raw GM Shawn Michaels makes it a Submission Match. Charlotte feels like history is going to repeat itself and Asuka is going to tap out once again, while Asuka feels the darker personality she's created is going to give her the edge and she'll finally get one over on the Queen.
8 Man Elimination Tag Match, Losing Team Captain Is Fired:
Team Miz (The Miz, John Morrison, Killian Dain, and Dominik Dijak) vs Team Gargano (Johnny Gargano, Mustafa Ali, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Tommaso Ciampa)

The Miz was able to convince WWE COO Triple H to make him the Smackdown Live GM for this new era, and at first he was a fair GM, but before too long, he began to slowly abusing his power. It wasn't revealed until 2 weeks before Summerslam, but all along The Miz was finding ways to protect Killian Dain, even paying him and Bobby Roode to do his dirty work and take people out. He even abused his power to hire some more muscle in Dominik Dijak and bring his best friend John Morrison back on luxurious deals. Once he had his 4 lackies to do his bidding, he paid them off to cause major injury to Velveteen Dream, fully taking him out of action and turning a planned 6 man tag match into a handicap match with Johnny Gargano and Mustafa Ali fighting Roode, Dain and a returning John Morrison, which led to them not only losing but being beaten post match with chairs and taking them out of action until Summerslam. Shinsuke Nakamura then stepped up and called Miz out, saying he saw Roode and Dain leaving the parking lot and going into his office, but Miz denied everything and this lead to Nakamura having to fight John Morrison, and Dijak getting involved to make him lose. This then turned into a handicap match, where they tried to break his neck but thankfully were unsuccessful. Triple H showed up the next week to call out Miz for everything he's done, between paying people off to hurt people, refusing to give people like Mustafa Ali and Johnny Gargano fair chances, and giving Dain easy matches to defend his US Title in, and set up the match for Summerslam with Gargano, Ali and Nakamura getting to pick anybody they wanted as their partner.

On the go home show before Summerslam, despite denying everything the previous week, Miz finally admitted it was all true and he didn't feel bad, he even booked a hardcore match for Bobby Roode to try to take out the hand picked partner, a debuting Tommaso Ciampa. However this plan back fired as Ciampa proved why they call him the psycho killer and injured Bobby Roode before defeating him, and leaving Miz one less lackey. Originally only The Miz's job was on the line, but he absolutely refused to deal with Gargano anymore, who's been a thorn in his side for months, and added the stip that if his team won, he got to fire Johnny Gargano. However there's more beef here too as Killian Dain won the belt in a match with Gargano, injuring him by powerbombing him off a truck onto cement and barely retaining his title against Mustafa Ali despite him going through a 6 pack challenge match before hand. With nobody to hide behind anymore and his job on the line, Miz is forced to step back into the ring and the chance for revenge on all four men has finally come for Gargano, Ali and Nakamura. Who will be hitting the unemployment line after the biggest party of the summer?
Andrade Cien Almas w/ Zelina Vega vs AJ Styles:

Andrade has been trying to make a name for himself in a big way ever since the start of this new era. First he managed to get himself a shot at Samoa Joe and the WWE Championship, partly due to Zelina Vega striking a business deal with The Miz. Then he tried getting Money In The Bank, but was knocked off the ladder just before he could pull it down. With his first two plans failing, Vega instructed him to set his sights on AJ Styles, and he struck by attacking him backstage and knocking him out cold with a Hammerlock DDT in the parking lot. AJ, who had also been dealing with The Miz's wrong doings a bit due to a feud with Killian Dain, was now forced to turn his focus to Almas and Vega, who said it was nothing personal just business. AJ however, took it personally and the next week challenged Almas to a match on Smackdown, only to get his challenge shot down, with Vega telling him if he wanted a match he'd have to wait for Summerslam, which was fine with him. However, AJ didn't wait long to get revenge for the sneak attack on him as after Andrade won a match with Zack Ryder, AJ Styles returned the favor and dropped Andrade with a Phenomenal Forearm after smacking him in the back with a chair. Now these two will clash finally in the ring with no sneak attacks. Andrade seeks fame with a win while AJ seeks revenge.

Loser Leaves Smackdown Extreme Rules Match:
    Mandy Rose vs Paige

When the new era started, Paige quickly found herself a target of the Riott Squad, as did Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, which eventually caused them to reform Absolution to fight them, and they managed to fight them off at Extreme Rules, but shortly after that tension began to form between Paige and Mandy Rose, all starting with Mandy being annoyed that Paige didn't come out to manage her for a match and getting revenge by costing Paige a match with Sasha Banks. Tension now began to rise even further between them with Sonya Deville stuck in the middle trying to play peacemaker and keep them from breaking up, viewing Absolution as the best way for her and them to get to the top of the Smackdown Women's Division. After Money In The Bank, the two had a match to settle their differences, but Mandy Rose only elevated tension between her and Paige by trying to pillmanize her neck in a chair, but failing to do. When the women's mini rumble happened the next week, Sonya convinced the two to work together with hopes Absolution could make the final 3 that way, however after Sonya was eliminated, Mandy and Paige tried to work together for a bit, but as soon as the opportunity came, Mandy blindsided Paige and snuck up behind her, throwing her out of the match. The next week Paige was naturally angry and called out Mandy to explain herself, with Mandy calling Paige a has been and useless, and Paige responding by calling Mandy a never was, Sonya Deville again came out, but instead of playing peace maker she told them she was done, and if they wanted to kill each other she wasn't gonna stop them. Paige declared Absolution dead and she was dropped with a punch to the face from Mandy! Mandy then grabbed a chair and tried to use it to beat down Paige, but as she swung with it, Paige blocked and grabbed the chair herself, smacking Mandy with it to knock her out of the ring and Paige challenged Mandy to face her in an Extreme Rules Match at Summerslam, which she was happy to accept. On the go home show, Mandy raised the stakes of the match, convincing The Miz to turn the match into a Loser Leaves Smackdown Match, saying she refused to be on the same show as Paige anymore. Now these friends and tag partners turned bitter enemies will finally clash.
No DQ, No Countout, Elimination Match: If The Fallen lose they must unmask
The Fallen vs Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio and John Cena

It all started with Braun Strowman involved in a bitter feud with Dean Ambrose after Ambrose jumped him before a match, looking to use Strowman to send a message to the entire locker room. The two clashed in a Hardcore Match at Backlash, with Strowman coming out on top after the two men beat the living hell out of each other. This however didn't sit well with Ambrose and he attacked Strowman during a #1 contenders match to cost him a win, and got a rematch set up for a couple weeks later. However when it came time for the match, Ambrose was nowhere to be found and instead, Braun was confronted by 3 masked men coming through the crowd, donned in camo pants, black long sleeve shirts, black gloves and skull masks, one being red, one being blue and one being green. Strowman ended up facing these 3 men in a match instead, and they left him a bloody mess in the ring after defeating him. This was just the beginning for these men however, as they kept showing up to attack Strowman, that is until Rey Mysterio joined forces with him and offered to help him fight the masked men. Strowman accused Ambrose of being one of the attackers, with Ambrose insisting he was not, and even getting a tiny bit of proof when he finally got his rematch with Strowman, and the Red Masked attacker showed up during the match to attack Strowman, giving Ambrose a win over the monster. Shortly after this a six man tag match was set up with Ambrose, Strowman and Mysterio to face the masked men, however before the match Ambrose was attacked backstage and a video popped up on screen with the 3 men standing over him when he was knocked out, holding up a sign saying NOT ONE OF US. This lead to Mysterio and Strowman having to fight them 3 on 2 and early on in the match, Mysterio was offered the chance to join them, however he declined and helped Strowman gain a measure of revenge as the two picked up a win.

The next week though, Mysterio was jumped by the men in the parking lot, and taken out. Strowman went to Shawn Michaels and demanded he do something, so he set up a match for Summerslam with the 3 masked men vs Strowman, Mysterio and Ambrose, with a stipulation that the men would have to unmask if they lost. However Strowman had no desire to team with Ambrose, as he still didn't trust him. Michaels offered to let Strowman and Mysterio pick their own partner and booked Strowman 1 final match with Ambrose, and just asked Strowman to consider teaming with Ambrose since he also wanted revenge. Ambrose won the rubber match with the monster, this time without any help. The Fallen meanwhile, did not appreciate Shawn Michaels trying to force their hand and questioned how he could book them if he didn't know if they were even Raw superstars, and refused to show up to Summerslam unless the match was made no dq, no countout, elimination match, and Shawn had to come meet with them alone at an address of their choosing to sign an agreement giving them full access to the arenas. They warned he and others would get hurt if he didn't come alone and with no choice but to agree, Shawn did. Upon meeting with them on the go home show, they revealed themselves as The Fallen, along with names they should be referred to as.

Red mask would be known as Blade
Blue mask would be known as Maverick
Green Mask would be known as The Assassin.

Meanwhile at the arena, Strowman and Mysterio announced they wouldn't be teaming with Ambrose since they didn't feel they could trust him, instead shocking everyone and bringing out John Cena to be their partner. This didn't sit well with Ambrose though, who said they would lose without having him there to handle the chaos The Fallen bring, but there was no changing the minds of Strowman and Mysterio. Now after months of attacks and brawls, we might finally find out who The Fallen truly are, but only if Strowman, Mysterio and Cena can win this match. If The Fallen win, the chaos is going to continue and we may never find out who they are, this is going to be a war of a match.
Other Important Notes of Things That Have Happened:
Roderick Strong feuded with Adam Cole over Cole and UE turning on him, however he lost both of his matches and hasn't been seen since.
Bray Wyatt has mysteriously vanished ever since beating Chris Jericho at Extreme Rules.
The Authors of Pain are currently trying to end the careers of The Hardy Boys at the order of Drake Maverick.
Zelina Vega has been on the hunt for more talent to manage, and has teased a new client she has signed will be revealed very soon.

WWE Summerslam, Live From Los Angeles, California

Match #1: World Tag Team Championship Match
Heavy Machinery vs Undisputed Era (c) (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly)

Tucker Knight and Bobby Fish start the match for their teams, but Otis tags in as soon as Tucker is pushed into the ropes, and the blind tag lets him take control as he scoop slams Fish. The two of them keep control for a little while longer with Knight coming back in after a tag and a double back drop, but an Adam Cole distraction lets UE take over as he distracts Tucker which lets Fish take him out with a knee to the back and tagging in O'Reilly, who begins wearing down Tucker with some kicks before tagging back in Fish, and after a couple strikes from him, he tags back in Kyle for a double team double underhook ddt followed by Fish pushing Tucker up with his feet for a german suplex from O'Reilly! He tries an early pin, but it only gets 1 and so does a roll up from Tucker as Kyle pulls him up. UE continue to wear down Tucker Knight, isolating him from Otis as they make a couple quick tags and end with dropping him with Chasing The Dragon, but instead of pinning, Bobby Fish pulls him up to his feet and clotheslines him in the back of the head when he sees Otis start to enter the ring! The two manage to keep Knight isolated for a bit longer before he finally fires back, backdropping Kyle as he tags in before knocking Fish off the apron and wiping out Kyle with a running crossbody, and then bringing Kyle into the corner, and finally tags in Otis! The challengers throw him into the middle of the ring then charge at him from opposite sides, smashing into his head before chest bumping in celebration as Kyle stumbles back to his feet, only to get hit with a couple belly to belly suplexes, but just as he starts rolling, Adam Cole again causes a distraction, and this lets Kyle get to his feet and roll up Otis, but the surprise pin only gets a 1.

Kyle makes a tag to Fish, who looks to take back control but Otis dodges a running clothesline, then pulls up the champ for a big suplex! Otis throws Fish into a neutral corner, and splashes into him before connecting with the Caterpillar into a pin, but Kyle O'Reilly breaks it up at the 2 count! Kyle starts to attack Otis, but Tucker comes in and gets rid of him with a crossbody! With a big opening now in front of them, Heavy Machinery set up Fish, and drop him with the Compactor! Tucker pins as Otis stands guard, but Adam Cole makes the save by jumping onto the apron again! This time however, the challengers have had enough and Otis runs around ringside, and sends Cole flying with a belly to belly suplex, then clotheslines O'Reilly as he gets to his feet on the floor! In the ring though, Heavy Machinery has lost control as Fish has locked Tucker into an armbar, but Tucker eventually escapes, only for Fish to hit the Flying Fish Hook right afterwards! He covers, but Tucker kicks out at 2! Fish has had enough now as he shoves Tucker into the UE corner, then charges at Otis who's back on the apron and knocks him off, before going back over to Tucker, but a tag is blocked as Tucker headbutts Fish then drops him with a big boot, and follows up with a senton and a splash! He doesn't pin though and instead picks him back up and hits a scoop slam followed by a springboard elbow drop off the middle rope! Tucker pins, but it only gets 2 and again Cole gets on the apron, but this time the ref has had enough and ejects him! Cole rages but Tucker slides out of the ring and german suplexes him, then throws him into the ring post! Tucker now rolls back into the ring, but Fish was playing possum still laying on the mat and rolls him up....but Otis breaks it up! O'Reilly now enters the ring, but Otis low bridges him to the floor, only for Fish to clothesline the big man to the floor right after that, but when he turns around he's dropped with a spinning DDT from Tucker! On the floor, Otis throws O'Reilly into the steps before getting back on the apron in time for a tag, and Heavy Machinery hit a second Compactor! Otis pins....and it's enough for the win!

Winners via pinfall and NEW World Tag Team Champions: Heavy Machinery!
Drake Maverick now is backstage, he was clearly watching the match from a monitor. Renee Young walks up to him and asks him what he thought of the match, and he says he's surprised, he didn't think Heavy Machinery had it in them to beat Undisputed Era, but it doesn't matter because once the AOP are done with The Hardys, they're going to set their sights on the tag titles. Renee brings up his other client, EC3. She asks what he thinks of EC3's chances tonight in the 6 pack elimination match, and why Maverick won't be out there with him. Maverick says EC3 is obviously the most talented person in the match, and tonight he's going to walk out as champion. As for why he won't be there, he says that Cesaro has proven to be sociopath and he doesn't trust him not to try and seriously injure him since he attacked him for no reason after a match a couple weeks ago. Renee reminds Maverick he caused Cesaro to lose a match with EC3, but Maverick says that's no reason to attack him and says he will be watching the match from a hidden area backstage, but after EC3 wins he'll be right there beside him, raising his hand in victory and strapping the title around his waist. As for now he has last minute preparations to attend to with EC3, then walks off before Renee can say anything else, so she's left with no choice but to send things back to the ring.

    Match #2:
Andrade Cien Almas w/ Zelina Vega vs AJ Styles

Andrade spends the first few minutes of the match trying to make AJ angry, running away from him, and he succeeds as AJ chases him around the arena trying to get his hands on him, but the temper gets the better of him as Andrade waits for AJ to follow him into the crowd and decks him, knocking him back over the barricade, but when he hops the barricade, AJ finally gets his hands on Andrade, throwing him into the steps and stomping the hell out of him! AJ takes the next couple minutes to beat the hell out of Andrade once they get back in the ring, throwing him around and hitting a few big strikes, but eventually he gets tossed onto the apron and dropped with a rope hung DDT! Andrade tries to follow up with a moonsault, but AJ rolls out of the way and hits a clothesline! AJ works over the legs for a couple minutes and eventually locks him into the Calf Crusher, with Zelina looking slightly worried as Andrade is getting dominated so far, but she breaths a sigh of relief as Andrade escapes the submission and hits a kick to the ribs to buy himself a moment of time. Andrade waits for AJ to get up, but this proves to be a mistake as AJ lifts him up into powerbomb position, but Andrade escapes with a hurricanrana and goes for a moonsault again, but AJ blocks it with knees to the ribs! With Andrade down, AJ goes out onto the apron and motions for him to get up, and as he does, AJ goes for the Phenomenal Forearm...but Andrade dodges it and AJ crashes and burns! However this time he gets no recovery time, as Andrade pulls him up and drops him with a Hammerlock DDT! Andrade covers, but it's not enough and AJ kicks out at 2. Andrade stays on the attack with a kick to the ribs and goes for a moonsault again, but again it's a mistake as AJ gets out of the way! Zelina yells at Andrade, clearly angry with him going for the big flashy moves, and AJ is back in control after a slingshot elbow to the floor and after working over the legs more, he goes for another Calf Crusher, but this one is blocked and he's rolled up for 2, only for AJ to boot him in the face!

Zelina now grabs the leg of AJ, getting his attention and buying her client some time. AJ yells at her as Zelina yells back, but this distraction lets Andrade hit a school boy powerbomb! AJ rolls into the corner in a seated position, and Andrade goes running in, but stops short and simply slaps AJ in the face! AJ however just gets angry and jumps back up, but his punch is blocked and Andrade kicks him in the ribs to knock him back into the corner and back into a seated position, and now Almas backs up, then hits the running knees in the corner! Almas isn't done yet though as he drags AJ back up, and drops him with the Hammerlock DDT again! Andrade covers, but somehow AJ kicks out at 2! Andrade is shocked and angry, slapping the mat in frustration as Zelina tells him to stay focused, and he nods before pulling AJ up, only to get dropped with a blitz of strikes! AJ then goes up to the top turnbuckle for the Spiral Tap...but Almas blocks it with knees to the back! Andrade quickly pulls AJ back up, and drops him with a third Hammerlock DDT! Andrade covers again, and finally he gets the pin!

Winner via pinfall: Andrade Cien Almas!
After the match, Zelina Vega enters the ring to raise the arm of Almas, and he celebrates the big win as AJ gets to his feet, but suddenly a man slides into the ring and drops AJ with a running forearm to the back of the head! Zelina Vega smirks and asks for a mic as the man stomps on AJ, and Almas joins in the beatdown, as Zelina gets handed a mic and yells for them to pull him up. The two men do so and restrain him as Zelina tells AJ she'd like to introduce him to her newest client, and the newest member of the Smackdown roster...Santos Escobar! She tells Escobar to drop him, and he quickly follows the command by lifting AJ onto his shoulders, then drops him with the Phantom Driver! AJ Styles is laid out as Zelina claps in approval, and now Almas and Escobar shake hands before Zelina raises both of their arms, and the newly formed trio now leave the ring together as the ref checks on AJ.

Match #3: Loser Leaves Smackdown Extreme Rules Match
    Paige vs Mandy Rose

Pretty much a one sided match, Paige finally got the chance to get some revenge for Mandy trying to break her neck again and she wasted no time, jumping Mandy as soon as the bell rings with a clothesline and stomping the hell out of her before pulling her up for 2 more clotheslines and a back suplex. She grabs a weapon now as she opts for a chair, but Mandy blocks a shot from it and hits a running knee to knock down Paige and buy herself a moment to recover. After Paige is up, Mandy charges at her only to get backdropped to the floor! Paige now takes the fight to the floor by following her, whipping her into the barricade and beating her with the chair, but Mandy eventually gets away and grabs a kendo stick, but she gets hit with the chair again to disarm her! They go back into the ring after this and Paige puts the chair around the ankle of Mandy, then stomps on it! Paige tries to use the kendo stick to beat up Mandy, but Mandy takes it away and gets in a few shots with it before going for a pin, but Paige kicks out at 1. Mandy now picks up the chair, but Paige avoids a shot from it and shoves it into the face of Mandy then superkicks her, before rolling out of the ring to grab a table! She slides it into the ring then picks up Mandy and goes for the Paige Turner, but Mandy blocks it and hits a wheelbarrow facebuster into a pin, but Paige kicks out at 2! Mandy now sets up the table, but Paige is back up and hits another superkick on Mandy, then drops her with the RamPaige! She doesn't pin however, instead trying to put Mandy on the table, but Mandy fights her off with a jawbreaker, then drops her with a kendo stick shot!

Mandy seems to get a wicked idea now, as she grabs the chair and puts it around the neck of Paige! Mandy then slowly climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and takes a moment to taunt the fans, telling them she's going to end Paige's career, but suddenly Paige gets the chair off her neck and gets up, throwing Mandy off the top turnbuckle and to the mat! Paige now lets out a scream, and drops Mandy with two clotheslines and a dropkick, then puts Mandy on the table before climbing up to the top turnbuckle, and splashing Mandy through the table! Mandy rolls away holding her ribs but Paige still isn't done with her, yelling this is her house before locking Mandy into the PTO! Mandy struggles, but when she realizes she can't reach the ropes, she taps out!

    Winner via Submission: Paige
Sonya Deville is now backstage, watching as Paige celebrates when Kayla Braxton comes up to her and asks her for her thoughts on the match. She says it's a shame it came to this, but she's glad it's over. She wishes Mandy luck with Raw or wherever she ends up, but she should have listened to her and she wouldn't be without a job right now. She then says as for Paige, she hopes they can still be friends even with Absolution being over, but she's focused on becoming Women's Champion and she'll be watching the title match closely tonight with Candice and Sasha, because she has every intention to face the winner. Kayla thanks her for her time before sending things back to the ring.

    Match #4:
    WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Revival vs The Bludgeon Brothers vs War Raiders (c)

Chaos throughout with Revival picking their spots and trying to let the big men destroy each other early on, but once they catch onto that Revival get beaten down with all 4 big men going after them! At one point Hanson hits a top rope splash on Rowan, but Wilder breaks up the pin at 2. Rowe slides into the ring after this and drops Dash with Death Rowe, but Harper breaks up that pin at 2 and drops Rowe with the discus lariat! He tries to go for a pin, but Hanson runs up behind him and shoves him out of the ring and to the floor, then dives onto him with a suicide dive! Meanwhile, Scott Dawson rolls into the ring and locks in an Inverted Figure Four Leglock on Rowan, as Dash Wilder drops Rowe with a Codebreaker! Dash rolls over into a pin but the ref is watching for a tap out and doesn't see it! Rowan ends up escaping the submission, and the delay lets Hanson slide into the ring to break up the pin! Hanson dives back out of the ring to wipe out Harper again, as Dash ducks a spin kick from Rowan, and drops him with a Codebreaker! However before he can pin, Rowe grabs him and flips him over, then drives his knee into his face! Hanson now slides back into the ring as Dawson gets thrown out of the ring by Rowe, and they have Rowan to themselves! Hanson pulls Rowan to his feet, and drops him with a spin kick into a pin, and with Rowe standing guard, it's enough for the pin!

Winners via Pinfall, and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: War Raiders
Seth Rollins and Ricochet are now in one of the locker rooms backstage, getting ready for the match tonight as Ricochet wishes Rollins luck tonight, and Rollins thanks him and reminds him they might have won some tag matches recently, but it's every man for themselves tonight. Ricochet agrees and says he plans to walk out with the title tonight, but says it is an elimination match and it might benefit them to look out for each other, take it down to the two of them and fight it out from there. Rollins agrees that's a good idea, but teases him that he wouldn't miss a chance to pin Ricochet if he gets the chance, with Ricochet laughing it off and saying Rollins isn't fast enough to catch him. It seems these two have formed an uneasy alliance for the match tonight.

Match #5: Six Man Tag Team Match
The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and The Usos) vs Balor Club (Finn Balor, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows)

The story of the first part of this match is Balor doing whatever he can to avoid Roman getting his hands on him, letting Gallows and Anderson do most of the fighting and only tagging in when they have control of the match, and not staying in for long before tagging back out. At one point early on, Balor hits the Shotgun Dropkick on Jimmy followed by the 1916, but a pin is broken up at 2 and after Jimmy counters a follow up with a backdrop, Roman finally gets his hands on Balor! Roman regains control of the match from here for awhile for his team as he takes down Balor with a samoan drop followed by knocking Gallows and Anderson off the apron and dropping Balor with a crucifix powerbomb, but Balor kicks out at 2. Shortly after this, Balor uses a rake of the eyes and a pele kick to take control and throws Reigns into the corner for a Shotgun Dropkick, but Reigns blocks it and hits a Superman Punch, followed by a Spear! Reigns covers again, but this time Gallows and Anderson break it up! Later on in the match, Roman has been isolated for a bit and The Usos are down, which leaves an opening for the Magic Killer to be hit and Gallows pins, but Reigns kicks out at 2! A couple minutes later, Reigns is getting fired up after regaining control and he drops Gallows with a Superman Punch, then knocks Anderson and Balor off the apron, and brings Gallows to the corner and calls The Usos into the ring, and together The Bloodline hit the Super Triple Powerbomb! Gallows is down as Jimmy pins after being the one to actually tag into the match, but at the last possible second Balor breaks it up after dodging Reigns!

The finish comes a few minutes later after Balor tags into the match, and he hits a few running clotheslines on Jimmy before hitting a running dropkick to the back of his head and dropping him with a Reverse 1916! Balor then pulls Jimmy to his feet, and drops him with the normal 1916, spiking him on his head! However he doesn't pin as he sees Reigns and Jey preparing to get in the ring, but they get taken care of as Gallows and Anderson run around ringside and pull them off the apron and start brawling with them, and Balor quickly pulls Jimmy back up, and drops him on his head with a second 1916! Balor covers and it's over, he gets the pin!

Winners via Pinfall: The Balor Club!
A video package now plays after the tron cuts to static, and we see The Fallen standing in what looks like the boiler room. The man in the red mask, Blade, says it didn't matter who Braun and Rey chose to team with, because they're just going to be the next victim and tonight they will eliminate John Cena, Braun Strowman and Rey Mysterio one by one, and someone is getting hurt, bad. The Fallen will take over WWE, and nobody will stop them.

Match #6: 6 Pack Elimination Match For The Intercontinental Championship
Seth Rollins vs EC3 vs Ricochet vs Adam Cole vs Cesaro vs Aleister Black (c)

The match begins with a lot of chaos, everybody partnering off with someone to fight. Fairly quickly, Cesaro gets his hands on EC3 and throws him back into the ring, before clearing Seth Rollins and Adam Cole out of the ring, and he hits a few running uppercuts on EC3 before dropping him with a very european uppercut, then picks him right up and locks him into the Tombstone Stretch! EC3 struggles for a bit, but the unchained Cesaro is relentless with the hold, and EC3 is forced to tap out, giving us a somewhat surprising first elimination of the match! With Cesaro having gotten rid of his first target, he takes a moment to asses the situation around him, he sees Seth Rollins fighting with Aleister Black while Adam Cole fights with Ricochet, and decides to join the fight with the former duo, helping Rollins double team the champ on the floor! All 5 men end up fighting each other at various points, with Cesaro even pulling a surprising move and breaking up a couple pins, determined to try and eliminate everybody, but this just earns him a double teaming from Rollins and Ricochet, who force him to roll out of the ring after a double superkick! However they turn around into Cole and Black waiting for them and taking the fight to them, and a few minutes later, Aleister Black drops Ricochet with Black Mass, and scores the second elimination!

With the field down to 4, Adam Cole takes down Rollins with a brainbuster then turns his attention to Black, grabbing a roll up after blocking a kick, but it only gets 2. Cesaro then rolls into the ring having recovered, and he blasts Adam Cole with a big boot to the face! Cesaro now has a couple minutes of complete domination, throwing all 3 men around with suplexes before Cole is forced to roll out of the ring, but his roll is stopped after a strike combination from Aleister Black, and a falcon arrow from Rollins, but Cesaro kicks out of the following pin. Rollins pulls Cesaro up and throws him into the corner, then picks him up and throws him into the buckles with a buckle bomb! Rollins can't follow up as Black spins him around and drops him with a roundhouse kick! Black backs into the corner, and waits for Rollins to get up, then blasts him with bicycle knee strike, before running and diving over the top rope to take out Adam Cole on the floor! Black slides back into the ring as Cesaro is getting up, but Cesaro ducks the Black Mass, and hits a german suplex, sending Black flying across the ring and he ends up rolling out to the floor! Rollins is now getting up to his feet, but Cesaro is waiting for him, and scoops him right up and drops him with a dominator! The unchained swiss isn't done yet though as he pulls Rollins right back up, and drops him with a Piledriver! Cesaro covers now, and he scores the third elimination of the match!

Were down to 3 now with the champ left alone with 2 challengers, and after all 3 make it to their feet, the 2 challengers seem to agree on an alliance, and double team the champ for awhile with him trying to fight back and doing so, but they keep cutting off his rallies. At one point Black is thrown into the corner, with Cesaro throwing Cole into him, using Cole as a weapon to take down the champ! Cesaro then quickly goes up to the top turnbuckle, but a top rope splash misses and with Cole back up, he blasts Cesaro suddenly with the Last Shot, ending the alliance after not being happy with being used as a weapon! Cole quickly covers Cesaro looking to get a big elimination, but Cesaro kicks out at 2! Cole stomps on Cesaro to keep him down and turns his attention to Aleister, who blocks a strike and hits a german suplex followed by a standing double stomp and a diving double stomp into a pin, but Cole kicks out at 2. The next couple minutes see all 3 men fighting it out but the fourth elimination comes in fairly sudden matter when Black drops Cole with a bicycle knee strike, only to get spun around and dropped by his bitter rival with a straight jacket suplex onto a chair, and it's enough for the pin! Either Adam Cole or Cesaro will be leaving as the new champion!

Adam Cole slowly gets to his feet, realizing he's now left alone with the most dominant man in the match and before he can even do anything, Cesaro charges him and boots him over the top rope and to the floor! Cesaro follows him to the floor and slams Cole into the announce table before throwing him into the steps and ripping the top of the announce table, he has something nasty in mind! Cesaro pulls Cole up and drags him over to the table, but Cole kicks him away and shoves him into the barricade, then grabs a baseball bat from under the ring, and smashes it into the head of Cesaro! Cole beats the hell out of Cesaro with the bat, hitting about 12 shots from it to wear him down, then picks him up and throws him into the ring, dropping him in ring with a brainbuster onto the knee right into a pin, but Cesaro kicks out again at 2! Cole stays on the attack though as he waits for Cesaro to stumble to his feet, and drops him with the Last Shot, but again Cesaro kicks out at 2! Cole is shocked and wondering what he has to do to keep Cesaro down, but Cesaro is rising to his feet and sidesteps a kick to the ribs and german suplexes Cole! Cesaro quickly pulls Cole up and drops him with the Very European Uppercut! Cole lands in the middle of the ring as Cesaro isn't done with him and pulls him up, but the Tombstone Stretch is blocked with a hurricanrana! Cole now shoves Cesaro into the corner, and follows him in to drop him with the Panama Sunrise! Cole covers, and finally he's done enough to win and we have a new champ!

Winner via pinfall, and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Adam Cole!
Backstage, Sasha Banks is in the gorilla position getting ready for her upcoming match when Bayley walks up to her and asks her how she's feeling. Sasha says she's feeling good and ready, and the two hug. Bayley asks Sasha if she can manage her for the match, and Sasha thinks about it for a minute then says yes, she'd love to have her best friend out there with her. Bayley thanks her and wishes Sasha luck as the two walk off together.

Match #7: Smackdown Women's Championship Match
Candice LeRae vs Sasha Banks (c) w/ Bayley

Sasha dominates early but after an early flurry, Candice hits a jawbreaker and a jumping hurricanrana. After this they go back and forth for a bit with neither managing to stay in control long, but Candice gets an early pin off a diving ddt into a pin for a 1 count. The two go back and forth for a bit now until Candice drops Sasha suddenly with the single leg codebreaker, but it only gets a 2 count on the pin attempt. Candice stays on her though and brings the champ to the corner, lifting her up to the top turnbuckle, and sending her crashing back to the mat with Ms. LeRae's Wild Ride, the diving swinging neckbreaker! Candice grabs the leg for a pin, but Sasha again kicks out at 2! Candice tries to follow up with a second one, again bringing The Boss to the corner, but Sasha shoves her off the top turnbuckle this time, and dives onto her with a big frog splash! Sasha pins, but only gets 2 herself and gets the same off Bankrupt right after. Shortly after this, Sasha blocks a punch with one of her own, then drops Candice with a backstabber right into the Bank Statement! Sasha cranks back on the hold as Bayley pounds the mat at ringside, but Candice manages to escape and counters it into a roll up, but Sasha is out at 2!

The two go back and forth for a few minutes longer with neither going for a pin or submission, including taking the fight to the floor for a bit where Sasha goes for Bankrupt, but gets blocked and driven into the ring! Back in the ring shortly after, Candice hits a second single leg codebreaker, but doesn't pin, instead going for the Gargano Escape, but Sasha blocks it and hits a dropkick, followed by pulling Candice up for the Bank Statement, but that also gets blocked and Candice hits a jumping knee to the back of Banks! Suddenly though, Bayley throws a hair into the ring, then jumps on the apron to distract the ref! Suddenly though, Candice realizes what's going on, and takes out the ref with a knee to his back!? The ref is down and Bayley hops off the apron, as LeRae picks up the chair while the champ slowly rises....and Candice smacks her in the back of the head with the chair! Bayley gasps while the challenger is getting booed loudly as she throws the chair out of the ring just before the ref can get up. She then drags Sasha to the corner, lifts her up onto the top turnbuckle, and drops her with a second diving swinging neckbreaker, right into a pin....and it's enough to steal the win and the title!

Winner via pinfall and NEW Smackdown Women's Champion: Candice LeRae!

After the match: Candice LeRae gets handed her newly won championship and holds it up high, but Bayley slides into the ring and stares her down for a second....but suddenly both women have big smiles on their face and they hug! Bayley raises the arm of the new champion, and both look over at Banks now, who's sitting up in the corner with a look of shock on her face, and Candice taunts her with the belt as Bayley simply smirks at her former best friend, and the two women now leave the ring together.
Backstage, Smackdown GM The Miz is standing with his teammates for tonight, John Morrison, Killian Dain and Dominik Dijak who stand behind him. Miz says up next they get to beat the hell out of Gargano, Ali, Ciampa and Nakamura, and not only is Johnny Gargano about to wrestle his last match in WWE, but he might just fire the other 3 just because he can! Morrison suggests he keep them around just so they have some punching bags, and Miz agrees that might be more fun. Miz turns to Dain and Dijak and hypes them up, telling them they are absolute monsters and he wants them to dish out as much pain as possible in route to winning, which both of them seem fine with. He then turns to Morrison and tells him he's the best athlete in this match and Morrison promises to take them all to slamtown. Miz turns back to the camera and says he'd like to wish Johnny Gargano the best of luck in his future endeavors in advance, then heads off with his team.

Match #8: 8 Man Elimination Tag Match, Losing Team Captain Is Fired
Team Miz (The Miz, John Morrison, Killian Dain, Dominik Dijak) vs Team Gargano (Johnny Gargano, Mustafa Ali, Shinsuke Nakamura, Tommaso Ciampa)

The first part of the match mostly just features everybody but Miz mixing it up a bit with everybody, with Miz only tagging in when his team had control and tagging out after a move or two. However very shortly after this first part, Morrison ends up in the ring with Nakamura and Nakamura suddenly strikes with the Kinshasa, and it's enough for the first elimination! The remaining competitors fight it out for awhile, but at one point Dain gets a tag into the match and cleans house on everybody, before causing the second elimination after bringing Nakamura to the floor when he's legal, and driving him through the barricade! Suddenly taking it down to 3 on 3! From here, Dain tagged in Dijak, and he wrecked Gargano and Ali for a bit, beating the hell out of both of them, but he meets his match when Ciampa tags in! Ciampa managed to take the fight to Dijak, even driving him out of the ring and following him out leading to a brawl on the floor. However this would prove to be both of their downfalls, as when the ref reached the 8 count, Ciampa drove Dijak through the announce table with an Air Raid Crash, and by time Ciampa recovers the ref has reached the 10 count, and both men are eliminated! Tommaso Ciampa has sacrificed himself to get rid of Dominik Diajk and we're down to the 4 men who have the most issues in this match!

With it down to the final 4, Ali and Dain came into the match, and Ali had a quick flurry on the US Champion, including a slingshot neckbreaker, but Dain kicked out at 2! Ali goes up top for the 054, but Miz runs over and shoves him off the top turnbuckle! Ali hits the mat hard but Gargano isn't letting him get away with that and enters the ring, running across the ring to knock Miz off the apron before wiping him out on the floor with a suicide dive! Gargano throws Miz into the steps and continues to fight with him as both legal men reach their feet, and Dain drops Ali with a powerbomb, followed by a vader bomb, but Ali kicks out at 2! Dain has had enough now as he drags Ali to the middle of the ring, lifts him up and goes for Ulster Plantation, but Ali counters with a reverse rana! Ali quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and goes for the's blocked with knees to the gut! Suddenly on the floor, Miz has gained control of Gargano, and drops him with a facebuster! Miz now slides into the ring and grabs Ali, dropping him with a Skull Crushing Finale! Miz rolls right back out of the ring as Dain pulls Ali up to his feet, and drops him with Ulster Plantation! With Gargano unable to save him, Ali is pinned and eliminated, leaving Johnny Gargano alone with the man who took a month of his career and his boss!

Gargano gets to his feet on the floor, as Dain waits for him in ring and Miz taunts him from the apron. Gargano realizes he's all alone, and decides to pull Miz off the apron then slides into the ring, and dodges a running big boot, and rolls up Dain, but it's only a 1 count, so he drops Dain with an enziguri! Gargano goes out onto the apron as Dain stumbles to his feet, and gets taken down with a slingshot spear! Gargano covers...but Miz breaks it up at 1! With the numbers now caught up to Gargano, he gets beaten up for a few minutes with a few quick tags between Miz and Dain, with Dain ending up still legal in the ring and hitting a running crossbody! Dain attempts Ulster Plantation, but Gargano blocks it and shoves him into the corner, then hits the lawn dart in the corner! Miz now attempts to enter the ring but is stopped by the ref, and Gargano takes him out with a slingshot DDT to the floor! Gargano is rolling now as he slides into the ring and hits two straight Superkicks, and it's enough to pin the monster and now he just has to beat his boss! Gargano wastes no time going after him, throwing him into the steps before throwing him into the ring, but Miz grabs a sudden roll up pin, only to get a 2 count. Miz hits a few moves on Gargano but when he attempts a running clothesline in the corner, Gargano moves out of the way and hits the full nelson STO! Gargano drags Miz to the middle of the ring and locks him into the Gargano Escape! Miz struggles trying to get out of it or reach the ropes, but when he realizes he can't do either...he taps!

Winners via submission: Johnny Gargano, Mustafa Ali, Shinsuke Nakamura and Tommaso Ciampa!
    Fired: The Miz!
In the locker room area backstage, the cameras now catch up with Dean Ambrose who says he'll be looking forward to watching the match tonight and see if Braun Strowman and Rey Mysterio made the right decision choosing to team with John Cena, a guy who hasn't been around, a guy who doesn't know first hand the kind of chaos and destruction The Fallen bring, because he doesn't think they did. He says he expected Braun to not trust him, Braun's nothing but a monster who doesn't know how to use his brain, but he's disappointed in Rey Mysterio. He thought Rey would see the benefit of teaming with him, but since he doesn't, how about he faces him? If Rey makes it through tonight unharmed, he's challenging him to a match for tomorrow night on Raw. He says he'll be watching and he looks forward to the answer.

Match #9: Submission Match for the Raw Women's Championship
    Charlotte Flair vs Asuka (c)

Charlotte takes control early on and starts working over the legs of Asuka right away, but Asuka fights her off before too long with a palm strike and a german suplex. Asuka hits a few more strikes but Flair bails from the ring looking to take a breather, or so the champ thought but she realized she fell for a trap when she followed the challenger to the floor, only to get thrown into the ring post. Flair throws the Empress of Tomorrow into the ring and slides in after her, locking in a boston crab right away, but Asuka escapes after a short struggle. Flair tries to follow up with a different submission, but Asuka blocks it and hits a running hip attack, followed by locking Flair into the Asuka Lock! Flair struggles for a bit trying to break the hold with no luck, but she does manage to break it before she's forced to tap, and she knees the champ in the face, then drops her with a spear! Flair spends the next couple minutes working over the legs of the champ with various moves and with Asuka struggling to fight back, Flair decides it's time to go for the win and locks in the Figure Eight Leg Lock! Asuka is in trouble as Flair has her trapped in the middle of the ring in the hold that's made her tap out many times before, and her legs have suffered a lot of damage. After a long struggle it looks like history is about to repeat itself...but the champ breaks the hold! Asuka crawls away from Flair holding her legs in pain as Flair looks like a little surprised by this, but she gets to her feet and chopblocks out the leg of Asuka! Flair stomps on her legs a bit before she can bail out of the ring, but this breather is the break Asuka needed as Flair doesn't follow her to the floor, instead waiting for her to come back in and when Asuka slides in, she blocks a punch and drops the Queen with a roundhouse kick! She throws Flair into the corner for two running hip attacks, then throws her across the ring with a big german suplex, her confidence is growing as she taunts the challenger! Flair stumbles back to her feet, but walks right into the Empress Combination! Flair is really in trouble now as she goes down and Asuka locks her into an armbar, but Flair escapes before too long due to no damage done to her arm.

Both women get back to their feet and Asuka charges Flair, but Flair hits a back elbow to the face to block whatever she tries to do, and drops her with a big boot! Flair tries to lock back in the Figure Eight, looking to close out this match, but she gets kicked away, and then rolls out of the way of a kick to the side of the head! Asuka is now back on her feet and blocks a punch to the face from Flair, then locks in the Asuka Lock again, taking Flair down to the mat! Flair is trapped in the middle of the ring as Asuka applies more pressure to the hold, and after a struggle of trying to break it, Flair taps out!

Winner via submission and STILL Raw Women's Champion: Asuka!
Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson are hanging out backstage in a hallway holding ice packs to their necks as Renee Young walks up to them, and asks them for their thoughts on the match earlier tonight. Dash says their thoughts are simple, they got screwed! He had a pin and the referee missed it because he wasn't paying attention! Dawson chimes in now and says they should be tag champs right now and it's disgusting they aren't. Renee chimes in now and reminds them that the referee missed the pin because Dawson had a submission hold on at the same time and he was checking for a tap out. Suddenly, the third member of The Revival, Drew Gulak walks up wearing a suit and tells Dash and Dawson they're right, they should be tag champs. He then reminds Renee that even the War Raiders, the biggest, baddest team in WWE couldn't pin or submit Revival, because they are unbeatable ever since Dash and Dawson started taking his advice. He turns to the camera and calls out the War Raiders, saying if they have any guts they'll give Dash and Dawson a rematch in a normal tag team match. Gulak then shoos Renee away, and she leaves as things go back to the ring.

Match #10: No DQ, No Countout, Elimination 6 Man Tag Match
The Fallen (Blade, Maverick and The Assassin) vs Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio and John Cena

The first few minutes are spent with everyone going back and forth, but things break down a couple minutes in when The Fallen bring weapons into the ring and trying to abuse the no DQ rule to keep two men in the ring, and this leads to everyone brawling for a couple minutes with Braun and Rey taking it to Maverick and Assassin on the floor with Braun going up the ramp fighting Maverick, but this just leaves an opening for Blade to counter an Attitude Adjustment, and DDT Cena, then beat him with a bat! With Cena laid out, Blade slid out of the ring to take out Mysterio with the bat, then slid back into the ring to blast Cena again, before dropping him with a Piledriver! Blade covered, but Strowman noticed and ran back to the ring....but he wasn't quick enough to break it up and Cena gets eliminated first! Strowman is now the legal man and throws Blade around the ring along with hitting him with a few power moves, but Assassin tags in, and charges at Strowman, but he gets knocked out of mid air as he jumps at Braun! Braun then runs into Blade, squishing him in the corner before turning around and dropkicking Assassin! Strowman is on a roll now as he sees Maverick climbing up to the top turnbuckle, but he catches him on a dive, and powerbombs him! Suddenly though, Assassin smashes a chair into the back of Braun! The Fallen take advantage of this to beat down Strowman a bit, taking out Rey a couple times to keep the big man isolated, and the second elimination comes when Braun blocks a Cutter from Assassin, and Powerslams him right into a pin as Rey springboards into the ring to take out Maverick with Blade down, and we're down to 2 on 2!

It stays 2 on 2 for awhile with all 4 men beating the hell out of each other, but after awhile with both men illegal, Blade drives Strowman through the announce table with a Piledriver! Strowman is down but in ring, Rey drops Maverick with the 619! Rey quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle for the splash...but Blade shoves him off the top turnbuckle and to the mat! Maverick is now up and Blade points to Rey, as Maverick pulls him up, and drops him with a DDT onto a chair! Maverick pins as Blade stands guard, but Strowman is still down and Rey is eliminated! From here, Strowman has to fight off a double team for awhile with the numbers game making it hard for him to really get rolling, but eventually he finds a way to handle it by bringing both into the ring, stacking them up in the corner and splashing them both, then restacking them up in the corner, and hitting a Double Chokeslam! Strowman pins Maverick now, and he's gone!

Strowman sees a chance to finish the match now and quickly goes over to pin Blade...but Blade kicks out at 2! Strowman rolls out of the ring and grabs the steel steps and slides them into the ring, picking them up, but Blade rolls out of the ring to avoid a shot from them! Strowman puts down the steps and follows him around the ring, but Blade gets the upper hand when the chase gets into the ring and he hits a running dropkick to Strowman! Blade picks up the bat again, and smashes it into Strowman, busting him open! Shortly after this, Blade hits the monster with brass knuckles, potentially knocking him out! However he doesn't pin, instead pulling Braun back up, dropping him with a Piledriver right into a pin...and it's enough!

    Winners via pinfall: The Fallen!
After the match, the cameras go backstage where Heavy Machinery are celebrating their tag title win earlier with a massive feast of food. Tucker is eating a giant turkey leg as Otis eats a handful of cake, and Tucker tells Otis he's proud of him for their big win earlier and ending the reign of terror of Undisputed Era. He says they need to be fighting champions, which Otis agrees to, but asks if they can finish their feast first. Tucker laughs and agrees saying steaks and weights come first, and they continue to chow down as things go back to the ring.

Match #11: No Holds Barred Match for the World Heavyweight Champion
Kevin Owens vs Daniel Bryan (c)

Owens mostly dominates the early going, being very aggressive to try and get a win over Daniel Bryan, but Bryan uses his superior striking and submission game to keep Owens from rolling too much. At one point Bryan goes for a Running Knee, but Owens sidesteps it and drops him with a Pop Up Powerbomb! Owens rolls over into a pin, but Bryan kicks out at 2! Later on in the match, the fight has gone to the floor as Owens is beating down Bryan with a sledgehammer, and he has an idea how to finish off Bryan as he uncovers the announce table, and throws Bryan onto it, dropping him with a Package Piledriver through the table! With Bryan is down, Owens drags him to his feet and throws him into the ring and goes up to the top turnbuckle, but when he goes for the frog splash, Bryan blocks it! Shortly after this Bryan locks in the Lebell Lock, but Owens manages to escape only to get rolled up, but Owens kicks out at 2 only to eat a roundhouse kick! Towards the end of the match, Owens goes for a Stunner, but gets blocked and thrown over the top rope and to the floor, before Bryan springboards onto him with a crossbody! Bryan then hits the YES! Kicks on the floor, before picking up a chair, and dropping Owens with a DDT onto it, before grabbing his arms and stomping the hell out of him 3 different times! A couple minutes later the end of the match comes as Owens finally connects on a Stunner, but Bryan kicks out! Owens is frustrated, wondering what he has to do to beat Bryan finally, and he pulls him back up and goes for another Stunner, but Bryan shoves him away and hits a northern lights suplex! Bryan then backs into the corner, and connects on a Running Knee! Bryan thinks about going for the pin, but changes his mind and backs into the corner again, and connects on a second Running Knee! Owens is bleeding badly and Bryan backs into the corner again, he's still not done! Owens slowly stumbles to his feet...and he's drilled with a third Running Knee! Bryan covers him for the pin, and Owens has taken so much damage that he's unable to kick out!

Winner via pinfall and STILL World Heavyweight Champion- Daniel Bryan!
Mandy Rose is now walking backstage and goes into the office of Raw GM Shawn Michaels. Mandy asks him if he saw her match earlier tonight, which he says he did. Mandy smiles and says then he knows he has the opportunity to add the hottest rising star to his roster, and she's ready to sign a Raw contract right now. Shawn chuckles but shakes his head and says no, he's seen how Mandy acts and he doesn't need that on his show. He's disgusted by her trying to end Paige's career. Mandy is shocked, and takes a minute to reply but then says she can change her ways, she loves wrestling and doesn't know what she's going to do if she doesn't get signed to Raw, she just needs an opportunity to prove herself. Shawn thinks about it for a minute, and sees Mandy begging, and sighs and says yes, and she instantly cuts him off saying he won't regret it and she can't wait to debut on Raw tomorrow, maybe even fighting for the title? But Shawn says she misunderstood, he's giving her a chance, a chance to earn a Raw contract. Tomorrow night on Raw she can have a match, and if she wins, she'll get a Raw contract. Mandy seems caught off guard by this, but realizes she won't get a better deal and quickly agrees, saying she's ready for whoever Shawn puts her in the ring with. Shawn says he's looking forward to seeing if that's the case, and Mandy quickly leaves as it's time for the main event.

Match #12: Tap Or Nap Match (Must win by submission or knockout) for the WWE Championship
Samoa Joe vs Drew McIntyre (c)
A brutal bloody war here as both guys waste no time beating the hell out of each other after not being able to get their hands on each other for weeks. The fight goes all over the arena including in the crowd, on the stage, and up and down the ramp, before finally going in the ring, with Drew dropping Joe with a Claymore! Drew proceeds to try a couple different submissions without getting a tap, and Joe even grabs a Coquina Clutch, but Drew escapes and after a couple more minutes of fighting, Drew locks in a Cloverleaf, and he makes Joe tap for the first fall! Drew taunts as he gets to his feet, knowing he's closing in on the win, but he forgets about Joe who jumps to his feet and locks right in a Coquina Clutch, taking down Drew and choking him out! Drew is completely caught off guard and trying to escape...but he can't, he's forced to tap for the second fall!

The fight spills out of the ring after this with both men determined to go for the knockout now instead of the submission to bring home the title. At one point, Joe throws Drew into the ring post and smashes him head first into it, then brings him over to the announce table, and drives him through it with a uranage! Drew goes crashing through the table as Joe grabs a chair from ringside and beats him down with it, before throwing him into the ring, and sliding in after him, but a running kick is dodged and Drew drops him with a big chop! The fight continues in the ring for a couple more minutes with neither man able to knock the other out despite Drew hitting a big superplex and a headbutt, and Joe dropping the champ with a Muscle Buster, and now both men are bleeding badly. At the end, Drew manages to get the knockout win to retain the title after a big headbutt followed by a Future Shock DDT and a Claymore Kick!

Well here it is, the first show. I would very much appreciate some feedback, as I kinda tried a few different things with this show. I had some matches in full and some recapped as I'm not sure what the best method to do is and some matches just weren't possible to put in full (anything with 6 or more people is a major pain to get in full) but if it's something you guys really want I can try. Also not sure if this is good formatting so I'm very much open to suggestion on how to format shows in the future. The only thing I can't do is graphics as I'm just not that tech savvy. Thanks for reading!

Re: Matrix Plays WWE2K19 Universe Mode: A New Era

Monday Night Raw Live From San Diego, California

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes out to start the show to a pretty good cheer from the fans. He has a mic in hand as he gets into the ring and mentions how he's glad to finally be done with Kevin Owens, and once again he's proved that Owens cannot beat him. He says he's looking forward to a better challenge moving forward and getting back to his original goal of giving under utilized talent a chance to shine and that's why he's talked to Shawn Michaels and got him to give him a match with someone who's never gotten the appreciation they deserve, tonight he'll be defending his championship against Shelton Benjamin. Bryan tells the fans he's heard them asking to give Shelton a shot along with others, and he's giving them exactly what they want, they're welcome. The fans give him a YES! Chant as Bryan leaves the ring and heads to the back.

Match #1: If Mandy Rose wins, she gets a Raw contract.
    Mandy Rose vs Naomi

Mandy tries a roll up right away, but Naomi kicks out at 2 from the surprise pin and hits a kick to the ribs, and takes control of the match for a bit from there. Naomi pretty much dominates the next few minutes of the match hitting a variety of offense including a dropkick from the second turnbuckle, but Mandy eventually blocks a kick to the head and hits a jumping knee to the face into another quick pin attempt, but this one only gets 1. Mandy acts quick as she pulls Naomi right up and drags her to the ropes, then hits stratusfaction, but Naomi kicks out of another pin attempt at 1 only to be hit with a middle rope diving bulldog right afterwards, but Naomi kicks out again, this time at 2. Mandy is beginning to get frustrated now, as Naomi continues to kick out of big moves. Mandy stays on her though as she drags Naomi to her feet and goes for a punch, but Naomi blocks it and hits one of her own followed by a roundhouse kick out of nowhere! Naomi then drags Mandy into position in the corner, and hits a split legged moonsault! Naomi pins...but Mandy kicks out at 2! Naomi senses a chance to put Rose away now as she waits for her to stumble to her feet, and goes for the Rear View, it's dodged and Mandy hits a clothesline to the back of the head, before doing the same thing to the ref! Mandy quickly slides out of the ring, grabbing a steel chair! She slides into the ring as Naomi stumbles to her feet...only to get smacked in the back with the chair! Mandy follows up with a shot to the ribs from the chair before quickly disposing of it before the ref gets up. Mandy however has done the needed damage and pulls Naomi up, dropping her with a wheelbarrow facebuster! Mandy covers Naomi, and it's enough for the pin and the contract!

    Winner via pinfall: Mandy Rose
Rey Mysterio is backstage now and says he's banged up after the match last night, and disappointed in himself for not being able to beat The Fallen. He says maybe Dean was right after all, maybe him and Braun should have teamed with him instead of John Cena, but he can't fix the past and now he's heard Dean Ambrose wants a match tonight because he's pissed at him. Rey says if that's what Dean wants to handle his anger issues, fine he accepts. But after tonight, no matter if he wins or loses, he's moving on from this whole thing.

    Match #2:
    Baron Corbin vs Kevin Owens

Owens is all over Corbin as soon as the bell rings, letting out his frustrations from losing last night by beating the hell out of Baron Corbin. After a few minutes of beatdown, Owens hits a Package Piledriver on the floor, followed by throwing Corbin into the ring, only to walk into a Chokeslam attempt, but Owens gets out of it and drops Corbin with a Stunner! He covers, and it's enough for the pin and the former champ gets back on track.

    Winner via pinfall: Kevin Owens
Shayna Baszler comes out after a break and grabs a mic, saying she'll keep this short and sweet, she's sick of having no competition around here and she's issuing an open challenge to any woman in the back who wants a match tonight, but she warns they might not leave without an injury. She doesn't have to wait long for an answer though as one of her biggest rivals to this point in career, Ember Moon, comes out onto the stage and quickly heads to the ring.

    Match #3:
    Shayna Baszler vs Ember Moon

They lock up to start but as Ember backs Shayna into a corner, she gets popped in the face and dropped with a sudden running knee! Shayna quickly takes control now, working over the arm for a bit before Ember blocks a suplex, landing on her feet behind Shayna, who turns around into a spin kick followed by a knee to the head and a few more strikes, knocking Baszler off her feet! Ember gets rolling now, controlling the next couple minutes of the match including hitting a top rope hurricanrana, a clotheline to the floor and a suicide dive. However she throws Shayna into the corner and into the corner, but when she tries to follow up with a handspring clothesline, Shayna sidesteps it and hits two gutwrench suplexs, only for Ember to kip right up! Baszler is shocked when she turns around and gets hit with two clotheslines followed by a dropkick right into a pin, but Baszler kicks out at 2. Ember tries to pull Shayna up to follow up, only to get hit with a jawbreaker followed by the Kerifuda Driver out of nowhere and she locks in the Kerifuda Clutch! However Ember escapes after a short struggle and gets a roll up pin, but Shayna kicks out at 2 only to get rolled up again, but Shayna kicks out at 2 again.

Shortly after this, Baszler regains control after blocking a superkick and drops her with a strike combination and stomping on the arm of Ember! Shayna spends the next couple minutes wearing down the arm of Ember, but Ember manages to escape an armbar submission and throws Shayna into the corner for the handspring clothesline! Ember quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle, but when she goes for the Eclipse, it's blocked! Shayna manages to win a couple minutes later after hitting a top rope gutwrench suplex.

    Winner via pinfall: Shayna Baszler

After The Match: Shayna Baszler isn't done with Ember as she brings her back into the ring, then pulls her up and drops her with a running knee! Shayna is now stalking Ember for the Kerifuda Clutch...but suddenly Ronda Rousey hits the ring! Rousey has made a surprise return! Rousey spins Shayna around and lifts her up onto her shoulders, dropping her with Piper's Pit! Shayna now rolls out of the ring as Ronda checks on Ember Moon, then glances back at Shayna, who's backing up the ramp glaring at Ronda, clearly not happy with her friend's surprise return to stop her attack.
After a break, Undisputed Era comes out to the ring, and as soon as they get in the ring Adam Cole begins bragging about his title win and says Bobby and Kyle may have lost the tag titles, but that was a fluke and they will get them back from those oafs Heavy Machinery. In fact the three of them talked, and they want the rematch right now! However instead of the new champs coming out, they get a big surprise as the former WWE Tag Team Champions from Smackdown, The Street Profits come out onto the stage! Kyle grabs the mic and asks what the hell they're doing here, and Montez Ford says he guesses they didn't hear, they go here now. They were traded by the new Smackdown GM over to Monday Night Raw and they go here now. Kyle says they might be Raw Superstars now, but that doesn't explain why they're out here right now. Montez says him and Dawkins were backstage waiting for the right moment to come out, and it sounds like the UE are wanting a fight, and they want the smoke. UE look at each other, thinking about the challenge, and Bobby says they're on, they'll be happy to beat them and wish they never came here before they go take back their tag team titles.

    Match #4:
The Street Profits vs Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) w/ Adam Cole

Chain wrestling to start before the Profits take control for a bit until Dawkins tags in and after a double team move, Fish blocks a standing elbow drop and hits a suplex before tagging in O'Reilly. UE beat down Dawkins for awhile, focusing the attack on the ribs and back mostly, and they manage to hit Chasing The Dragon, but Montez breaks it up at the 2 count! Montez manages to clear Kyle out of the ring, then dives over the top rope and wipes him out! Fish tries to follow up with Dawkins, going for a leg lock submission, but he gets kicked away by Dawkins, who manages to get up and makes the hot tag to Montez Ford! Ford cleans house after coming in, hitting a few running strikes on Kyle before dropping him with a snap suplex! Suddenly though he gets hit in the back of the head by Fish and he's dazed! Suddenly though Dawkins runs across the ring and spears Fish off the apron! A couple minutes later, the new team to Raw get the win after Dawkins hits a spinebuster on Kyle followed by Montez hitting the Frog Splash for the pin!

Winners via pinfall: The Street Profits
Asuka is in the interview area backstage and gets asked for her thoughts about the match with Charlotte last night. Asuka says Charlotte may be the Queen, but The Queen was not ready for Asuka and tapped out. Now, Asuka is ready for a new challenge. Asuka now dances away before the interview can continue, leaving Renee Young to send things back to the ring quicker than expected.

In the ring, we see Drake Maverick has come out and is in the ring with the Authors of Pain. Maverick brags about the fact the AOP has spent the last two weeks beating the hell out of The Hardys and now they aren't even able to be here tonight, they're home licking their wounds. Drake says that they aren't done with The Hardys though, not until they've ended the legendardy team once and for all and they'll be ready for them whenever they return. But for tonight, the monsters are hungry and want a fight so is anyone brave enough to give them a fight? Cue Ricochet a few moments later, coming out onto the stage and saying he's disgusted with the actions of AOP, they should show some respect to the legendary teams who came before them and he considers them friends of his so he accepts the challenge so he can get some revenge for them. Maverick laughs and asks what makes Ricochet think he can beat them, and Ricochet brings up his recent win over Maverick and his other client EC3, and then says he still has his friend, and Seth Rollins walks out onto the stage and fist bumps him, and the duo walk down the ramp, it seems we have a match.

    Match #5:
Authors of Pain w/ Drake Maverick vs Ricochet and Seth Rollins

A good match here with AOP isolating Ricochet for awhile at the beginning, but eventually he gets some offense in to end the beatdown and makes the tag to Rollins! Rollins knocks Akam to the floor and hits 3 suicide dives in a row to take down the monster before throwing him into the ring for a springboard knee to the face, but a pin only gets 2. A few minutes later after tags to Ricochet and Rezar, they go back and forth for a couple minutes with neither really gaining control, Ricochet hits a superkick followed by a shooting star press, but Akam breaks up the pin right away! Rollins however comes in and gets rid of him, then dives onto him on the floor to wipe him out! In the end a couple minutes later, Rollins has taken out Akam on the floor with a superkick, while Rezar drops Ricochet with a Powerbomb! Rezar pins, but Rollins breaks it up at the 1 count, and drops Rezar with the Curb Stomp! Rollins now helps Ricochet to his feet and leaves the ring, just as Ricochet climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and connects with the 630 Senton on Rezar for the pin!

Winners via pinfall: Seth Rollins and Ricochet
A video now plays showing The Fallen in an unknown location. The "leader", Blade speaks and brags about their victory at Summerslam and says it was never in doubt, no matter the team that Braun Strowman assembled to fight them. Maverick says it's time they set their sights on a new target though, and come to think of it they never did finish their business with Dean Ambrose, so maybe he'll be their target. The trio of masked attackers seem to like this idea as the video cuts.

Match #6: World Heavyweight Championship Match
Shelton Benjamin vs Daniel Bryan (c)

A very good match here with Shelton going all out in this chance to showcase himself while Bryan does everything he can to keep his championship. At one point Shelton is really rolling, hitting a series of strikes before superplexing Bryan off the top turnbuckle, and following up with Pay Dirt! Shelton covers him, but Bryan kicks out at 2! Shelton stays on the attack as he goes out onto the apron and motions for Bryan to get up, and when he does Shelton goes for a springboard clothesline, but Bryan sidesteps it and rolls out of the ring! The fight goes to the floor for the next couple minutes before finally getting back into the ring with Bryan hitting a series of corner dropkicks before snapping off a northern lights suplex, then grabbing the arms of Shelton and stomping the hell out of him, not once, not twice, but three times right in a row, a total of about 15-20 stomps! Shelton is clearly hurting but Bryan doesn't cover, instead waiting for him to get up and hitting a kick to the legs to knock Benjamin to his knees, followed by the YES Kicks! Shelton goes down as Bryan covers him...but Shelton kicks out at 2! Bryan stays on him as he quickly locks in the Lebell Lock, and Shelton is quickly in trouble as he can't get to the ropes...but just as it looked like he was about to tap, Shelton escaped and grabbed a sudden roll up, but Bryan kicks out at 2!

A few minutes later the end of the match comes as Shelton hits a second Pay Dirt, but Bryan again kicks out at 2 and hits the YES Kicks again, before going up top and hitting a diving headbutt! Bryan gets back up and backs into the corner, and as Shelton stumbles to his feet, he nails the Running Knee after an earlier attempt missed! Shelton drops as Bryan covers, and he's finally done enough to put down the challenger and retain his championship!

Winner via pinfall and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Daniel Bryan
In the bosses's office, Mandy Rose walks in, and asks where her contract is since she won earlier. Shawn says they have a problem, she's right, technically she did win and earn the contract, but he's not happy about her attacking Naomi with a chair to do it. Shawn says he's going to give her a contract because he respects her hustle for wanting the contract, but he's going to punish her for her actions. Naomi has already came to him and asked for a rematch and he's giving it to her, next week. Mandy looks annoyed but that changes to a look of anger when Shawn warns her if she uses a weapon, even if the referee doesn't see it, then she'll lose her contract. Mandy is furious now but Shawn says if she'd rather he can just take away the contract, and she sighs and says no, signing the contract for the brand before leaving as it's time for the main event.

    Match #7:
    Rey Mysterio vs Dean Ambrose

Back and forth to start but Ambrose dominates shortly after and is very aggressive due to being pissed about being left off the team last night. Ambrose manages to hit a diving elbow drop to a standing Mysterio and goes for Dirty Deeds at one point, but Rey blocks it and hits the 619 out of nowhere, followed by the frog splash! Rey pins, but Ambrose manages to kick out at 2 and throws Rey to the floor! The two men brawl on the floor for a bit before Ambrose manages to drive Rey through the announce table with Dirty Deeds! Ambrose throws Rey into the ring and slides in after him, but the pin takes too long to happen after the finisher and Rey kicks out at 2! The finish comes a couple minutes later when Rey goes for a seated senton off the top turnbuckle, only to get dropped with a powerbomb! Ambrose then finishes off Rey shortly after with Dirty Deeds! Ambrose gets some revenge!

    Winner via pinfall: Dean Ambrose

After The Match: Ambrose celebrates his win, but suddenly The Fallen appear at the top of the arena! The Fallen quickly make their way down the arena stairs but Dean notices them and takes off his shirt, and even helps Rey up to his feet, slapping him and pointing to The Fallen, and Rey nods, and stands ready to fight with Dean! The Fallen meanwhile have reached ringside and hop the guard rail, and they spread out to prevent escape! Ambrose and Rey now stand back to back, as The Fallen climb onto the apron...but Ambrose suddenly spins Rey around and drops him with Dirty Deeds!? Rey Mysterio goes down as Ambrose has a grin cross his face as The Fallen enter the ring... and Ambrose shakes their hands! Dean Ambrose has joined The Fallen!

Mysterio is suddenly pulled back to his feet by Assassin and Maverick, who throw him over to Blade, who spikes him on the mat with a Piledriver! Ambrose stands over Rey now and yells at him, asking him where Braun and Cena are now, before Blade pulls Rey to his feet and restrains him so Ambrose can slap him a few times, then tells Blade and Maverick to go get some chairs! The masked men each bring a chair into the ring as Dean kicks the chair into position, then Dean drops Rey with Dirty Deeds onto the chair! Rey is knocked out face down on the chair as Dean picks up the other chair, and slams it down on the back of Rey's head, crushing his head in between the chairs! The now 4 members of The Fallen stand together over the unconscious Mysterio, arms raised in victory as Raw comes to an end!
