So.. Who's going with Edge/Orton as a "feud" with the Christian/Show as sub-plots? It's definitely one of the longer running feuds of 2020.. With everything else seemingly lasting 20 seconds.

They've had two matches of which neither of I'd call a real match, and one of them was the worst bit of entertainment I've seen in wrestling this year. They're putting in decent effort with their promos, but the bottom line for me is this feud has taken away any desire for me to see Edge's return continue, so I don't see how the feud is even a success never mind the best feud of the year.

If WWE is lacking in good high profile feuds you can find *plenty* in AEW at the very least that's meatier and less offensive than Edge/Orton.

For WWE, I think it's clearly Otis vs Ziggler for feud of the year

I'd say Tegan Nox Vs Dakota Kai is the best feud WWE have put on this year, and even that had it's flaws.

As a mini feud, Thatcher Vs Riddle was really good.

Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho has been fun, definitely a highlight for me. Britt Baker and Big Swole is another fun one, it’s pretty unlikely it’ll win but I’ve been enjoying it and find this new Britt Baker character highly entertaining despite her injury. Plus, Big Swole plays off of her antics well imo.

IF the planned Swamp-match between Strowman and Wyatt goes good and we get some more banger Promos out of it, like in the last two weeks, this could be a candidate for me personally.

I'm going to do the unthinkable and throw in Sonya & Mandy! I can't lie, I've enjoyed this bubbling feud since the Dolph/Otis one and I'm quietly anticipating their match at SummerSlam.

If you asked me a couple of years ago about these two, I would have thought both would have been released by now. So yeah, fair play.

Will depend how it goes from here, but I can get behind this idea. Logical, well built up, good promos.

I think it's quite funny that two of the best feuds in WWE this year have both featured Mandy Rose.

I mentioned it in the Dynamite thread, but I've really enjoyed the Elite/Bucks/FTR build and if they can branch it off successfully post All Out into Bucks/FTR and Page/Omega feuds, then both will be big contenders for me.

The FTR stuff is ok, but I was way more invested when it was just Hangman/Page vs Bucks. So my vote would be for their feud building up to Revolution.

Re: 2020 Feud of the Year Ongoing Discussion

I think all things considered, Rollins Vs The Mysterio Family might be up there for me because it's provided the MOTN on 2, possibly 3 PPVs for WWE this year. I went back tonight and watched Rey Vs Seth Eye for an Eye match which I refused to watch last month on account of it being too gimmicky. The action is really solid up until the last 5 minutes or so when they try to do the eye stuff. I think it's certainly my favourite feud in WWE - as dumb as the eye stuff was, this is the best babyface booking in WWE all year and they've created a fresh star on the show in Dominik. Got more positives to it than Otis Vs Ziggler. Might bump this tomorrow night after I've watched their Raw match and see if it strengthens their case.

I'm going to disagree on that. The eye stuff was incredibly stupid, even for wrestling. That plus the usual issues I have with Rollins' character and promos puts it down the list.

    The Mysterios rule though.

I definitely have Mysterio vs. Rollins in my top 3 WWE feuds of the year.

Yeah I've got to say, I'm with you guys on the Rey/Seth shout. I'd agree.

It's elevated others as well as delivering good matches.
