Never seen Master of None, but GLOW has got stronger with every season. Will be sad to see it end this year.

I actually expected GLOW to do a little better considering it's a wrestling forum.

Brilliant show, props to the others that voted for it.

GLOW is a great show and I’m in agreement with Dave that it has gotten stronger with every season, I’m very much looking forward to the next season even though it’s the last one. It’s not just the wrestling that I like about, that’s a big part yes, but I also love Alison Brie and I think she’s fantastic on the show.

Re: WC's Fave Five Netflix Originals (Series/Shows)~!

    LET'S FINISH THIS BITCH!

    Spoiler:

    3. - Daredevil - 320 points (RED #1, Man #1, Tommy Thunder #1, Wolf Beast #2, Booty Vice #2, Fuji Vice #3, Chaddes #3, Jimmy King #3)

    Spoiler:

    2. - Stranger Things - 330 points (Jimmy King #1, Mikk #1, Fuji Vice #2, Postman Dave #2, RED #2, ranthellacious #2, Keefmoon #3, OMB #3, Sully #5)

    Spoiler:

    1. - BoJack Horseman - 350 points (BoJack Horseman #1, Todd Chavez #1, Mr. Peanutbutter #1, Markstrom #1, Keefmoon #1, Chaddes #1, Tommy Thunder #3, RED #4)

    Spoiler:

Let me tell you... this was freakin' insanely nail-biting 'til the very last list I got. BoJack ran pretty strong with the first lists that came in, then Stranger Things creeped up on it. Also Daredevil was suddenly in the mix to win this. OMB's list was the second to last I got and it put Stranger Things 10 points ahead of BoJack... and then came Tommy Thunder with the last second list that gave BoJack another 30 points. I would never thought receiving PMs could be so suspenseful

Thank you all once again for participating. We'll start with the next one tomorrow!

Bojack is an incredibly worthy number one. If I'd seen this thread before deadline my vote would've been added to it. Words can't describe how thoughtful, funny, sad, and worthwhile that show is. I'm currently at the tail end of season six, the Diane writing episode is up there with the very best the show has to offer.

Really enjoyed reading this list, good work! Hopefully I'll be able to get involved with the next one.

Really disappointed with that top 3. Admittedly, I overlooked GLOW. Great list Bojack, thanks for doing this it was a great read.

Since this countdown was started, I had started rewatching BoJack and have really got into it this time around more than the first watch I started on it. Had I done so before this countdown started, it would have made my list for sure. It’s a worthy number one surely, well deserved.

Stranger Things was always going to be my number one though, it’s just so much fun. Daredevil was my favorite of Netflix Marvel shows.

Was stunned when I saw Stranger Things wasn't number 1. Then saw what was and remembered what forum this is

Daredevil S1 was great, S2 was good but a bit of a let down, never got round to S3

Re: WC's Fave Five Netflix Originals (Series/Shows)~!

Bojack is a very worthy winner, what an incredible show that was. I probably got a little burnt out towards the end through the sheer volume of episodes but it's easily one of my favourite shows ever, not just on Netflix.

Stranger Things wouldn't have been a terrible #1 but I really hope they do something a bit different with the formula next year as it's getting a bit repetitive. Daredevil and Jessica Jones both had amazing first seasons but I struggled after that. Master Of None is fantastic, and so glad they have left it at 2 seasons. I just rewatched American Vandal with my wife who was seeing it for the first time and man is it a lot of fun. The second season ended up a bit too preachy but man does that show overdeliver from what it should be. Actually it's interesting how many Netflix shows seem to have the pattern of "I started to get burnt out on it". The downside of being able to binge watch, I guess.

Re: WC's Fave Five Netflix Originals (Series/Shows)~!

Master of None - I think this is the only live action show I voted and it got #2. Alongside Atlanta & Fleabag, awesome auteur sitcom. Some very tense anxiety inducing episodes. The Bycicle Thief episode felt particularly rewarding since Id just seen the movie in one of my film studies courses. And obviously the #MeToo arc before MeToo was a thing (I think) is extremely interesting in hindsight considering Aziz gets caught in the crossfire thats a bit overblown, much like his IRL situation.

GLOW - Only ever watched one episode of this. Im sure its a good show but just not a subject matter Im that invested in.

Daredevil - Huge show. Felt like it sort of reinvented the wheel of what a super hero TV show could be in similar ways to what TDK did with feature films. There are low lows in this series but its mostly an amazing show with some brilliant action set pieces and a ridiculous amount of awesome characters. All three of Daredevil's seasons are great even if it isnt perfect throughout. You have to think if they shaved it down to like 9-10 episodes they wouldve purged themselves of the more mediocre arcs.

Stranger Things - Solid show. Even though its not an era or subject matter I really care for, its enjoyable. I actually had a dream last night where Billy got his redemption and started working at the same place as Steve

BoJack Horseman - Pleasantly surprised to see this up here. I know people find my preachiness of this show annoying but I would honestly die on a hill for it. No show or work of entertainment/art has meant to me more than this show. Especially when Im feeling extremely down, this is my sort of go to since I dont really like bombarding people close to me with that stuff. Unfortunately Ive had a heck of a time getting people to watch it but even so, the people whove watched it and enjoyed it really really enjoyed it. Beyond the relatableness of it - the experimental episodes, the visual gags, the meta-ness of it all, its willingness to criticize the industry (underworked people, sexual abuse, sexism, trivializing mass murder, gun control, etc.) make it such a total package. I love that ultimately this show ends up giving the female characters (and Todd) that BoJack has sort of hurt over time their happy ending. I think my sole criticism of it is probably that it couldve had at least 8 more episodes to fully give its final storylines to time to complete but even then its still great front to back.

Happy to see the show go out on a high note here (and sorry to those disappointed ;( ).

@Keefmoon: the irony is most Netflix shows get wrapped up around season 3 nowadays (for financial reasons) so you wont have to get too worried about being burnt out now
Todd Chavez: I'm deeply sad and nothing can make me happy.

    Also, eat the rich.

If Bojack was anything less than number one I would have quit this forum.

Tough news for all of you, I know.

I backtracked through everything and unless I'm blind, neither Money Heist, nor Elite made the list here, which is very disappointing to me.

Well, although I didn't vote it my #1, I am very happy that I pushed Bojack over the line to be the #1 ranked show here. It is an absolute diamond of a show. Excellent writing, excellent characters and I'm going to be very sad when it's all over.
