SD Live WWE Friday Night Smackdown Live Discussion - January 10, 2020

    Friday Night Smackdown Preview
    January 10, 2020

The Usos return to in-ring action this Friday on Smackdown against King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler

The Usos are back — and they’re looking to introduce two new foes to the Uso Penitentiary.

One week after their triumphant return, Jimmy & Jey Uso step back into the ring this Friday on SmackDown to take on King Corbin & Dolph Ziggler.

The Usos’ first appearance in months last week could not have come at a better time for cousin Roman Reigns, who was about to be disrespected once again with Corbin & Ziggler angling to pour dog food on him for a second time.

The King and The Showoff figure to be aiming for revenge after the Usos thwarted their plan, though The Big Dog likely won’t be too far behind.

See who comes out on top at 8/7 C on FOX this Friday night on SmackDown!

Lacey Evan and Sasha Banks to finally square off one-on-one on Smackdown

After weeks of personal attacks and plenty of flying fists, Lacey Evans and Sasha Banks will square off this week on Friday Night SmackDown.

Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley have taken glee in taunting and mocking Evans’ family, including her 7-year-old daughter. The Sassy Southern Belle has naturally taken great exception, and the two will finally collide this coming Friday night.

Will The Boss prove that she is indeed still at the head of SmackDown, or will Evans build off last week’s tag team victory over Sasha and snag arguably the biggest win of her WWE career by besting The Blueprint?

Find out when the two collide this Friday Night at 8/7 C on FOX.

John Morrison to appear on "Miz TV" this Friday on Smackdown

Last Friday’s SmackDown left the WWE Universe surely wanting answers from The Miz and John Morrison. Perhaps we’ll get those answers when the former tag team champions reunite live on “Miz TV” this week.

Still seeking retribution from “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt after the Universal Champion got far too close to his family, The A-Lister has been on a short temper of late, and Kofi Kingston bore the brunt of it last week. Frustrated, The Miz attacked Kingston after being defeated by him, and the WWE Universe let him know they weren’t pleased.

The recently returned Morrison later emerged from The Awesome One’s locker room, seemingly shutting down Cathy Kelley’s attempt to get a word with The Miz.

But on his own show this week, The A-Lister figures to have plenty to say — and maybe we will also learn what’s on The Guru of Greatness’ agenda.

Tune in to SmackDown this Friday night on FOX at 8/7 C to see what they have to say!

Very much looking like Miz & Morrison vs. The New Day is coming at the Rumble.

What a time to be alive.

That should be a lot of fun imo, imagine if we got a reboot of Miz and Morrison’s Dirt Sheet series out of this where they mock New Day.

That would be the high point of the decade and it's barely started.

I felt like this was a really good show overall. Just the main two programs were just flat out terrible. No one wants to see Reigns vs Corbin continue and every development to it is just so dull. And The Fiend is the drizzling shits, copy and paste, same thing week after week.

The Miz and Morrison stuff, Mandy-Otis, Womens Title stuff and even Braun v Nak were all solid at worst. Miz already getting good heat too as a heel again. Its a shame in a way because when he was allowed too he was a great babyface this time around, but he'll be remembered as a flop because of how much of a jobber geek he was as a babyface. He needed this heel turn to salvage his career one more time.
