I had never even thought of this argument for the show needing to be stopped before it was mentioned in the episode, but it was kind of a crime scene. Yeah, everyone said he fell and obviously he did, but who knew that as a fact minutes after the accident? Whether it was an accident, Owen was pushed, or he jumped, it's not exactly helpful to run five additional matches where men are sweating, bleeding (I know that at least Triple H bled), and further messing up the broken wooden planks under the ring mat.

I did find it a little misleading when they showed the photographs of the ring from the rafters and you saw blood on the side of the ring, insinuating that it was Owen's when the blood was there from a previous match before the accident.

How they ever allowed him to drop down while being held by a safety hook the size of a keychain is something for as long as I live I'll never understand. Unbelievable.

This is the bit that stood out for me too. A hook that could come open with a slightest touch is crazy.

For the sake of a few extra seconds they should have used the same setup they had used previously.

As a side note he certainly left his mark with the kids! Oje was always a spit but Athena has overtaken him now.

Binged the entire second season and meh. Aside from Benoit/New Jack and Owen Hart episodes, largely forgettable honestly. The Brawl episode was good, but still not great.
It’s a weapon. It’s really powerful, especially against living things.

Puts the extra "p" in Nappa Valley since Day 1.

I think Dark Side of the Ring is probably one of the best wrestling related shows out right now. It's good to know a lot of people are watching and learning some really shitty things about the business and the history of the sport through this program.

Probably not the best time to be watching this season but it is what it is. Benoit part 1 was incredibly tough, I was nearly in tears when they got to Eddie's passing.

Re: Dark Side of the Ring

Fantastic series. Being honest, several episodes didn't interest me because they fall outside of my frame of reference, especially the ones on the early periods back to 80s etc.

Is there any chance that Series 3 will include #SpeakingOut and the COVID-19 pandemic?
