TJP will be right at home in the promotion that doesn’t book women.

If anything TJP would want to be near the most women as possible you would think.

Great lineup so far. Those are 3 very strong workers and greater than what you might expect on paper. Still a long way to go before things pan out into something good but these are welcome additions.

He's a great wrestler, but a prick IRL, got heat for sharing meninist views online.

Sucks that Liger isn't actually competing in this tournament, even though he's wrestler on all three nights.

Re: NJPW Super J Cup 2019

I just thought Ed had turned into one of those people who had never watched Joshi and decided to become a white knight for it being in NJPW

TJP is a hard no for me boys. Get Naruki Doi in

Definitely agree Liger isn't competing but I feel that his story would overshadow the tournament if he was a part of it really. There'd be too much expectation on Liger doing well and the other participants wouldn't get as much spotlight, I guess. Imagine Hiromu returned for this. Just in time to win this and headline both nights of the Tokyo Dome.

Another great crop, though I still don't really like the SJC being used this way with virtually all NJ guys instead of what the tournament originally represented but it's obviously no big deal to most Western fans.

Caristico was spoiled by the leaked post iirc. Still a decent addition. Big name that people will recognise out of the CMLL guys.

I think this will just be NJ, CMLL and a ROH name, sadly.

For the life of me I thought Amazing Red retired. I guess I was wrong.

Would be willing to bet good money that Red gets Ospreay in this tournament.

    Great addition.

Latest match I saw of Red was pretty damn awesome (the Low Ki one) so I'm interested in seeing what he can do here.

Re: NJPW Super J Cup 2019

Now it's pretty much time for Gresham and Soberano Jr to step up really after not impressing in their previous tours with the company. Clark Connors is the stand out for the LA Dojo guys so I'm glad he is getting a spot, even if he has no chance in winning. Romero showed everyone that he could go in BOSJ, so hurrah for him.

Good looking set of matches. Some obvious results but that's okay. Red vs Ospreay as the main event should be awesome.

Have Dragon Lee and Caristico ever faced each other before?
