Re: AEW: Second Time is the Charm

Sorry to have to shut this down mate, but your last post in your last thread was April 17th & the thread only had 20 replies.

    1) Starting new threads
You are only allowed to run one BTB at a time. If you already have a BTB and wish to start a new one, you need to adhere to the following waiting times:

    • If your old BTB had 30+ replies, you must wait 30 days before starting a new one
    • If your old BTB had less than 30 replies, you must wait 60 days before starting a new one

The reason for these waiting times is to prevent people from creating a BTB, not putting much effort into it and then creating a new one as soon as possible. We believe this rule encourages people to stick with their old BTB and makes people think carefully about starting new one. If you create a BTB without waiting the appropriate number of days, your BTB will be closed.
EDIT: Thread now reopened; sixty day period has now elapsed.

    ALL ELITE WRESTLING PRESS RELEASE

The scheduled match up to crown the first ever AEW Openweight Championship, between Hangman Page and wrestling’s resident “Bastard” aka PAC will not be taking place at the Double Or Nothing event.
A match between Hangman Page and PAC may happen one day under the AEW banner, but due to an error on the part of both parties there was a case of double booking.

PAC will begin to work with All Elite Wrestling sometime in the near future. Therefore, a new opponent for Hangman to face to crown the first ever AEW Openweight Champion, has been found in the form of Maxwell Jacob Friedman(MJF) for short.

    AEW Openweight Championship

    MJF V Hangman Page

Re: AEW: Second Time is the Charm

    Double or Nothing

    Commentary: Jim Ross & Excalibur

    Ring Announcer: Justin Roberts

Ross: Welcome ladies& gentlemen to the inaugural show under the All Elite Wrestling, banner Double Or Nothing.

Excalibur: This is going to be everlasting proof that All In wasn’t just a one and done show.

The Young Bucks V FTR (Daniel Wheeler & David Hardwood)
    Ref: Earl Hebner
Just who the pairing of Wheeler & Hardwood were became obvious when they made their entrance into the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The now former, Dash Wilder &Scott Dawson received a standing ovation from the fans in attendance. It was very obvious why the pairing of Wheeler & Hardwood were sending a crystal clear message, to their former employers. If there were any doubters that this match wouldn’t live up to the immeasurable hype, they were quickly silenced within two minutes of in ring action. FTR would beat on both of their opponents and proceeded to take control of the match, using a combination of tag team excellence and unseen underhanded tactics to continue to wear down their opponents.

Of course, Matt & Nick who thought that if Wheeler & Hardwood, were going to play by those rules, they would do the same.
This would continue until about halfway through the match, when the referee would catch wind of these antics and warn both teams. It was clear that both teams had the up most respect for each other and agreed by way of a handshake that they would continue the rest of the match, by following the rules. The Bucks would obtain several near falls, following several of their well-known moves such as MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK & A SUPER KICK PARTY.However despite these moves taking place either Wheeler or Hardwood would kick out.

FTR would turn the match into more of a brawl then a wrestling match, and obtained a near fall of their own following a POWERBOMB/DIVING CLOTHESLINE COMBO. Once again the Jackson brothers would come out on top of a brawl and had Wheeler up for an attempted, MELTZER DRIVER, only for Wheeler to fight out of it and tag in Hardwood. Together, Wheeler & Hardwood took out Matt Jackson with a double clothesline, which sent him down to the ringside area. Before sending Nick into the ropes and on the rebound executed a FLAPJACK/DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER COMBO, called on commentary as TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS, for the pin fall.

Winners: FTR(Daniel Wheeler & David Hardwood)
    Post-Match
After the match had finished the victors would help the Bucks up and they hugged before teasing a rematch down the line.

Ross: That was truly an exhibition of tag team wrestling excellence and luckily we aren’t in short supply of that tonight.

Excalibur: It’s like you took the words right out of my mouth J.R, what a way to open a show.

    AEW Openweight Championship
    Hangman Page V MJF
    Ref: Rick Knox
As soon as the bell rang an overconfident MJF would attempt to bribe Page to take a fall so that he could be the first champion. Page smirked before punching MJF in the mouth, as a result of this his opponent would roll to the ringside area. Just as Knox started to make the count, MJF would motion for him to exit the ring, a bewildered Knox would comply.

As if it wasn’t low enough to attempt to bribe his opponent, MJF would follow this up by attempting to bribe the ref who rebuffed him and told him to get back into the ring. Realization seemed to set in for MJF and upon re-entering the ring changed tactics very quickly trying to cut corners, and take shortcuts where he could to gain control of the match. This would work at first but eventually Page would gain control after attempting and nailing a series of clotheslines and followed this up with a STANDING SHOOTING STAR for a close 2 count.

Once again MJF would roll out of the ring to the ringside area, not wanting to let his opponent get away from again. The Hangman aka Page would exit the ring, onto the apron before LAUNCHING HIMSELF OFF IT WITH A STANDING SHOOTING STAR THAT WIPED OUT BOTH MEN. The ref would start the count with both men re-entering the ring at 4 and 7 respectively. Page would start punching MJF before throwing him into one of the corners. It was clear that Page intended to attempt a clothesline in the corner, only for MJF to pull the ref in the way of it, forcing him to abandoned the move which lead to his opponent taking advantage and raked Page’s eyes.

The egotistical jackass that is Maxwell Jacob Friedman, would take advantage of his temporally blinded opponent and rolled him up with a handful of tights but only got a two count. He would attempt a second pin attempt straight after this, this time using the ropes for leverage only for the ref to catch him and stop the count as a result. MJF would get in the ref’s face telling him to do his job, which would inadvertently give Page time to recover and exit the ring onto the apron. As soon as MJF turned his attention back to Page it was too little too late as his opponent , ATTEMPTED THE BUCKSHOT LARIAT BUT MJF SPAT INTO PAGE’S EYES WHICH STOPPED HIM(PAGE) DEAD. MJF proceeded to roll up Page and this time unseen by the ref used the ropes for leverage.

Winner & First ever AEW Openweight Champion: MJF
    Match Time: 16:00

Ross: What a piece of human garbage that MJF truly is he has already disgraced the title, he wears around his waist.

Excalibur: Something tells me that MJF will realize that heavy is the head that wears the crown.

    AEW Women’s Championship
Nyla Rose V Britt Baker V Penelope Ford V Bea Priestly
    Ref: Aubrey Edwards
Three of the four women involved in this match would realize very quickly that none of them were a match for Rose by themselves, as she was the tallest of the four of them.
As a result they would nod in agreement and attempted to attack her as a brief partnership, this wouldn’t work out well for them. ROSE WOULD NAIL A BIG BOOT ON FORD, THAN PICK HER UP AND THROW HER INTO PRIESTLY AND BAKER. Not wanting to waste time or give her opponents the chance to recover, the Washington War Beast aka Rose would pick Priestly up and waited till Ford got to her feet at ringside AND PROCEEDED TO THROW PRIESTLY ONTO HER.
Back in the ring, Rose would drag Baker to her feet AND NAIL HER WITH A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB,followed with a pin attempt which Baker kicked out at the count of two. Eventually both Ford & Priestly would re-enter the ring and it looked like they would team up to take out Rose, only for Priestly to stop short of attacking Rose. As a result of this Ford ran right into a STIFF CLOTHESLINE FROM ROSE.

Priestly would rake Rose’s eyes and attempt a roll up with a handful of tights, which Rose easily kicked out of despite not seeing straight. Baker would wait until Rose got to her feet, BEFORE ATTEMPTING AND NAILING A DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF ROSE’S LEGS CAUSING HER TO FALL TO HER KNEE.Priestly followed this up by kicking Rose in the gut which caused her to double up onto her hands and knees. The kiwi born Priestly, FOLLOWED THIS UP BY ATTEMPTING AND NAILING A CURB STOMP TO THE BACK OF ROSE’S HEAD. Following this Priestly would attempt a pin only to find it broken up by Baker, while Rose rolled out of the ring and Ford entered it again. A three way brawl between Baker, Priestly and Ford ensued as Rose recovered at ringside.

No one would come out on top in the brawl in the time it took Rose to return to the ring, as a result it would turn into a four way brawl.
Eventually the brawl would migrate into one of the corners of the ring and a TOWER OF DOOM WOULD TAKE PLACE, WITH PRIESTLY AT THE TOP OF IT AND ROSE, AT THE BOTTOM MEANING SHE WAS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND IT. Both Baker & Ford would be caught in the middle of the move so they were effectively taken out of the match going forward. Rose would pick up Priestly who had felt the most impact and proceeded to NAIL A SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB FOR THE PIN.

Winner& First ever AEW Women’s Champion: Nyla Rose
    Match Time
    17:00
    Post-Match
Awesome Kong made her AEW debut and engage in a stare down with Rose.

Ross: What an effort by all four of these women, and this was just a little bit of what All Elite Wrestling has on offer in regards to female talent.
It seems like Kong wants the title which will be one hell of contest if it happens

Excalibur: Once again JR you have taken the words right out of my mouth, what a fatal four way and this is only the beginning for the women’s division in AEW.

    AEW Tag Team Championship

    Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson V L.I.J (Sanada & Evil) V Golden Lovers(Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) V Lucha Bro’s(Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr)
    Ref: Aubrey Edwards

At all times there can only be one member of each of the four teams involved in this match, also tags are not necessary if one team member exits the ring the other can enter.
So it started off with Gallows/Ibushi/Sanada & Rey Fenix all in the ring, before they paired off Gallows & Sanada and Fenix & Ibushi. Being the taller of the two,Gallows would man handle Sanada and CHUCK HIM TO THE RINGSIDE AREA.Obviously Sanada’s partner, Evil didn’t like this at all and entered the ring and brawled with Gallows, while the Golden Star& Fenix traded kicks and punches on the opposite side of the ring.

The first pin fall attempt of the match would take place AFTER THE KING OF DARKNESS AKA EVIL LEVELED GALLOWS WITH A DISCUS LARIAT, it would be broken up by Gallow’s partner Karl Anderson. As Gallows rolled to the ringside area, The Machine Gun(Anderson) would take his place in the brawl with Evil. Ibushi would call for Omega to come into the ring and TOGETHER THEY NAILED A HADOUKEN/GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO ON FENIX, resulting in the second pin fall attempt of the match. Fenix would be saved by tag team partner and brother Pentagon Jr , who proceeded TO GRAB BOTH OMEGA & IBUSHI BY THE HAIR AND THROW THEM OUT TO THE RINGSIDE AREA.He didn’t stop there as next he would break up the brawl between Anderson &Evil, AND THROW THEM OUT TO THE RINGSIDE AREA WHERE OMEGA/IBUSHI/SANADA & GALLOWS WERE GROUPED. TOGETHER THE LUCHA BRO’S WOULD ATTEMPT AND NAIL SUICIDE DIVES IN STEREO.

With everyone trying to collect themselves both Pentagon& Fenix would grab Anderson and sent him back into the ring. The remaining five men involved in the match, Omega, Ibushi, Sanada, Evil and Gallows would all make their respective ways back into the ring. This lead to a first for the match as all eight men were in the ring for the first time, a short but brutal four way brawl among all of them would take place. Before a series of finishers took place, EVIL NAILED GALLOWS WITH EVERYTHING IS EVIL, ANDERSON NAILED EVIL WITH THE GUN STUN.

The Golden Lovers aka OMEGA & IBUSHI NAILED A POWERBOMB INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX ON SANADA, TOGETHER PENTAGON & FENIX NAILED A DOUBLE SUPERKICK TO BOTH ANDERSON & OMEGA.This left three men standing in the ring Ibushi and the Lucha Bro’s, the former would hold his own for a while which shouldn’t be a surprise as he is one of the top wrestlers in the game today.
However the numbers game would catch up to him and he would fall victim, TO A PACKAGE PILEDRIVER/DIVING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP COMBO which saw him pinned.

Winners& First Ever AEW Tag Team Champions: The Lucha Bro’s

    Match Time

    22:00

    Post-Match:
Chris Jericho would jump the fan barricade and beat on Omega before nailing him witha Code breaker. He then grabbed Ibushi and laid out the Golden Star with the Judas Effect in the middle of the ring.

Ross: What a match,What a match, What a Match……. I would be very interested in seeing a rematch sometime down the line/. What a disgusting act by Jericho

Excalibur: Agreed JR,interesting side note this was the first time in three years that former Bullet Club members, Omega, Anderson & Gallows shared the same ring.
I believe that Omega & Ibushi will be out for Jericho's blood now

    Brother Vs Brother
    Cody V Dustin Rhodes

    Ref: Earl Hebner

Both brothers would show tributes to their father, the late great Dusty Rhodes in their wrestling gear. Within three minutes this match outshone anything the pair had done facing each other in the past. Another way the paid tribute to their late father was through each using several of his well known moves. Cody would take control early on following a DROPKICK WHICH CAUSED RHODES TO ROLL OUT TO THE RINGSIDE AREA. Cody followed this up by running to one of the corners and LAUNCHED HIMSELF OUT ON TOP OF RHODES. The ref would start to count only, while Cody helped his opponent up at ringside and they both re-entered the ring.

It was clear from this act of sportsmanship that despite being opponents this match wouldn’t end in a count out. The brothers brawled with Rhodes coming out on top and sent Cody into the ropes and on the rebound, ATTEMPTED AND NAILED A SPINEBUSTER WITH A PIN ATTEMPT.The American Nightmare aka Cody would get a shoulder up at the count of two,Rhodes would drag him back up and threw him into one of the corners. Rhodes WOULD CHARGE AT CODY AND ATTEMPTED THE SHATTERED DREAMS, ONLY FOR HIM TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND.
As a result Rhodes crotched himself on the middle turnbuckle, his brother would take advantage of this and grab him and drag him backwards out of the corner. Cody would ATTEMPT A ROLLING CUTTER, ONLY FOR RHODES TO FIGHT OUT OF IT AND TURN IT AROUND ON CODY AND NAIL THE FINAL CUT INSTEAD.Rhodes would attempt a pin following this and he would obtain a very, very close two count before Cody kicked out. The two brothers would each return to their feet before brawling some more this time around Cody came out on top. The latter would hit Rhodes in the gut before proceeding to go over to the ropes and ATTEMPT AND NAIL A SPRINGBOARD ROUNDHOUSE KICK.

Instead of going for the pin, Cody would pick Rhodes up AND ATTEMPT AND NAIL A SECOND ROLLING CUTTER FOR THE PIN.

    Winner:Cody

    Match Time

    18:22

Ross: It was clear that both these men, poured their hearts out in this match. It was also obvious that their tributes to their father were from the heart.

Excalibur: What an instant classic of a match, and despite Dustin’s advanced age he was moving around and bumping like a wrestler in his twenties.

Casino Battle Royal to crown the first ever AEW Champion
Jay Lethal, Marty Scurll, Joey Janela, CIMA, Joey Ryan
Refs: Earl Hebner, Aubrey Edwards, Paul Turner & Rick Knox

The first five men all stare each other down although before anything could happen, Ryan would pull a pair of handcuffs out of his gear and proceeded to handcuff himself to the top rope. Janela would nail HURRICRANA’S on both Lethal & Scurll.

Bandido,Flip Gordon, Sammy Guevara, Kip Sabian, Brodie Harper

With ten men in the ring which resulted in eve
ryone pairing off, leaving the resident big man of the match(Harper) left with Ryan.

Who despite facing the backwards brawler, hitched a confident smirk on his face and showed Harper that he was handcuffed to the ropes.

Brodie King, Jimmy Havoc, Jungle Boy, PCO, Luchasurus

Harper would proceed to break the part of the handcuffs attached to the ropes and then grabbed Ryan and threw him bodily from the ring.

    Joey Ryan is eliminated

A three way brawl between King/Harper & Luchasurus would ensue while everyone else brawled amongst themselves.

Flamita,Shawn Spears, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Scorpio Sky

Lethal would nail a DOUBLE LETHAL INJECTION ON BOTH GUEVARA & SABIAN.

Villain Enterprises and SCU would brawl among themselves, while Lethal eliminated both Guevara & Sabian one after the other.

Sammy Guevara & Kip Sabian are eliminated

Luchasurus would NAIL A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM ON GORDON & JB, before picking them up and disposing of them respectively. Harper would NAIL A LARIAT TO JANELA WHICH DAM NEAR TOOK HIS HEAD CLEAN OFF.

Jungle Boy & Flip Gordon are eliminated

Harper would proceed to pick up the now lifeless body of Janela and eliminated him, CIMA would trade shots with Bandido while Flamita did the same with Spears.

    Joey Janela is eliminated

    WillO’Spreay……….Chris Jericho?????

As the Aerial Assassin aka Will O’Spreay was making his way out to the ring, he was attacked from behind by Jericho. The self-proclaimed Alpha of pro wrestling(Jericho) would nail his second ever Judas Effect on O’Spreay laying him out.

The egotistical Jericho proceeded to walk down and enter the ring.

Havoc would find himself on the ring apron but saved himself from elimination at the hands of Harper by biting his nose. Villain Enterprises(Scurll/PCO/King) would team up and eliminate Luchasurus.

    Luchasurus is eliminated

Jericho would eliminate CIMA, Spears and Flamita in quick succession, SCU would team up and eliminate Harper.

    Cima/Spears/Flamita/Harper are eliminated

Lethal would toss Sky out of the match, Bandido did the same to Kazarian. Havoc would exit the ring through the ropes and come back with a garbage can full of weapons in hand. Havoc would be accosted by the Canadian Frankenstein aka PCO and both men would arm themselves with chairs before going to town on each other.

Jericho would eliminate Bandido, while Lethal eliminated King.

Bandido and Brodie King are eliminated

It was obvious that Havoc and PCO were caught up in their weapon heavy brawl, that they didn’t realize what Jericho was up to until it was too late, and they found themselves eliminated.

Jimmy Havoc & PCO are eliminated

The final four would circle each other and stare at one and other before splitting of into pairs, Jericho & Daniels and Lethal & Scurll. Daniels would attempt his Angel Wings finisher, but Jericho fought out of it, while Scurll attempted tolock in the Crossface Chickenwing on Lethal. Jericho attempted and nailed Daniels with a Codebreaker, while Lethal successfully fought out of Scurll’s attempt by way of repeated elbows to the Villains face.
Lethal attempted and nailed the Lethal Injection on Scurll, he then followed this up by picking up the fallen Scurll and eliminated him.

    Marty Scurll is eliminated

Jericho would hang back as Lethal and Daniels brawled among themselves, this didn’t last long as they soon realized that Jericho wasn’t participating in the match. So both Lethal & Daniels would corner Jericho and beat him down before picking him up, and each placing a hand on the back of head and sent him flying over the ropes. Thinking that they had eliminated Jericho, Lethal and Daniels returned to brawling among themselves, with neither man coming out for better or worse.
With both men totally focused on each other, they didn’t realize that Jericho didn’t actually get eliminated and he had held onto the ropes and as a result landed onto the apron. He(Jericho) wouldn’t rush back into the forefront, instead choosing to bide his time. Lethal would attempt the Lethal Injection, Daniels ducked out of the way of it, Daniels would attempt the Best Moonsault Ever on a fallen Lethal. Yet Lethal would roll out of it causing Daniels to change tact mid move and as a result landed unsteadily on his feet,Jericho proceeded to pounce on this opportunity and grabbed Daniels and sent him out of the ring.

    Christopher Daniels is eliminated

Lethal would return to his feet just as Jericho turned back to face him, it would be the latter would be the first to act as he attempted a Codebreaker only for Lethal to block the attempt. Lethal grabbed hold of Jericho’s legs and attempted to slingshot him over the ropes only for Jericho to land on the apron. Jericho would re-enter the ring just as a charging Lethal would attempt to go on the attack, but the former cut off his momentum by kicking him below the belt. Jericho proceeded to grab hold of Lethal and sent him flying from the ring.

    Jay Lethal is eliminated

The newly crowned champion would hitch a shit eating grin on his face as he was presented the All Elite Wrestling Championship belt. While The Elite(Cody, Omega and the Bucks) would come out onto the stage.

Cody & the Bucks had to hold Omega back as Jericho got a microphone. Once he had the microphone, Jericho arrogantly proclaimed that he now held the future of AEW in his the palm of his hand. As a result of this statement the quartet on the stage would start to walk down the ramp when from the crowd, came Jon Moxley who laid Jericho out with Dirty Deeds.

He(Moxley)would follow this up by flipping off Rhodes, Omega & the Bucks making it clear that he did what he did for himself.

    End of Show

Re: AEW: Second Time is the Charm

    Fyter Fest
    Commentary: Jim Ross & Excalibur
    Ring Announcer: Justin Roberts

    Jon Moxley V Jimmy Havoc
    Ref:
    Rick Knox
Now this match was supposed to be a straight up normal match but given its participants, it shouldn’t be surprising that the match spilled into the ringside area and weapons got used. Instead of calling for the bell the ref would get a microphone and told the raucous crowd that the match would be contested under no dq rules.
    Havoc would
THROW MOXLEY INTO A WALL,only for Moxley to DO THE EXACT SAME THING TO HAVOC. Moxley would low blow Havoc before dragging him by his hair back to the ring, where he would throw Havoc into the ring before searching under the ring for weapons.
Such a steel chairs, tables, a Singapore cane and a staple gun. As soon as Moxley tried to enter the ring, Havoc would kick the ropes causing Ambrose to be crotched on the middle rope. Havoc set to work by setting up one of the tables up into one of the corners, and hoisted Moxley back to his feet before putting him in position for a powerbomb.

However, Moxley would fight out of it and lifted Havoc up onto his shoulders and
CHARGED AT THE SET UP TABLE AND DROVE BOTH HIMSELF AND HAVOC THROUGH IT.He(Moxley) would exit the ring and grab another table and some barbed wire, he then set up on of the chairs and put Havoc on it. Moxley than proceeded to wrap the barbed wire around Havoc essentially tying him to the chair, before nailing a couple of shots with one of the other chairs. He then grabbed the staple gun and proceeded to shoot staples into the arms, chest and tongue of his opponent.

Havoc would spit int Moxley’s face which just caused him to smirk before he backed up and
NAILED A RUNNING CROSSBODY TO HAVOC WHO WAS COVERED IN THE BARBED WIRE.Wanting to put an end to the match, Moxley dragged Havoc up AND NAILED THE DEATH RIDER(Elevated Dirty Deeds)
Winner: Jon Moxley Match Time: 22:00

    AEW Openweight Championship
    MJF© V Hangman Page
    Ref
    : Rick Knox
It was clear from the get go that Page was out for the champion’s blood. As he would rock MJF with
A SERIES OF STIFF PUNCHES, which floored the champion who proceeded to hightail it from the ring. Wanting to keep up the offensive, Page would THROW CAUTION TO THE WIND AND SENT HIMSELF OUT OF THE RING ON TO MJF WITH A SUICIDE DIVE.
Immediately following this Page would return to his feet and dragged the champion up to his feet,
BEFORE SENDING HIM REPEATEDLY INTO THE BARRICADE. It should be noted that the referee officiating this match(Knox), was the very same one who officiated the last time that Page & MJF fought each other.

It was clear from that fact alone that while he wouldn’t let Page do anything wanted, he was being lenient in regards to making the count. Eventually, the Hangman(Page) would bring the fight back into the ring and threw MJF into one of the corners before
ATTEMPTING AND NAILING A SERIES OF RUNNING DROPKICKS.As soon as the champion fell down out of the corner, the challenger would pounce on top of him and beat on him, before the ref had to forcibly pull Page off of MJF.

The champion would take advantage of this by kicking out at the challenger’s knee causing him(Page) to drop to one knee. MJF would nail a boot to the side of Page’s face which floored the challenger, leading to the champion attempting a overconfident pin attempt, which barely got a one count before Page kicked out. He(Page) would roll MJF up, but the champion would in turn roll through it and return to his feet. The Hangman wouldn’t let this rattle him and proceeded to take the fight to the champion, in the ensuing brawl Page would come out on top and hauled MJF back to his feet.

MJF would rake the eyes of his opponent and
GRABBED HIM AND THREW HIM OVER THE ROPES, BUT PAGE LANDED ON THE APRON.The overconfident champion would taunt the fans in attendance as soon as he turned around though, PAGE ATTEMPTED AND NAILED THE BUCKSHOT LARIAT.This wouldn’t be enough for the challenger however as he would hoist the champion up and ATTEMPT AND NAIL THE DEAD EYE(KNEELING BACK TO BELLY PILEDRIVER)for the pin.
Winner & New AEW Openweight Champion: Adam Page
    Match Time: 17:00

    Cody/Matt & Nick Jackson V SCU(Christopher Daniels/Scorpio Sky/Frankie Kazarian

    Ref: Aubrey Edwards
All six men would shake hands and then a series of moves would take place resulting in the entirety of SCU leaving the ring to regroup at ringside. BACK IN THE RING BOTH MATT & NICK JACKSON ATTEMPTED AND NAILED SUICIDE DIVES, TAKING OUT SKY & KAZARIAN IN THE PROCESS.Not wanting to be left out, Cody went over to one of the corners and ascended to the top rope, BEFORE LAUNCHING HIMSELF OFF IT WITH DIVING CROSSBODY TAKING OUT DANIELS.

Cody would haul Daniels back to his feet before sending him back into the ring, once there the two men would trade shots with Cody coming out on top. The American Nightmare(Cody) would send Daniels into the ropes AND ON THE REBOUND ATTEMPTED AND NAILED A DROPKICK, before attempting a pin which would be broken up by both Sky & Kazarian. Both Matt & Nick would enter the ring and another three on three brawl would take place, the difference this time being that SCU would come on top by throwing both Jackson brothers out of the ring.

Following this the trio of Sky, Daniels & Kazarian would ATTEMPT AND NAIL THE BEST MELTZER EVER,which looked like it meant that this match, would come to quick conclusion. THE BUCKS WOULD MAKE THE SAVE AT THE LAST SECOND, BREAKING UP THE PIN ATTEMPT AND THEN NAILED SUPERKICKS ON BOTH SKY & KAZARIAN.

Cody would follow this up by putting Daniels in position for the CROSS RHODES, but before he could even thing of attempting the move DANIELS FOUGHT OUT OF IT AND KICKED CODY IN THE GUT AND ATTEMPTED AND NAILED THE ANGEL WINGS BUT YET AGAIN THE PIN FOLLOWING WAS BROKEN UP BY THE BUCKS. Cody would tag in Matt who in turn tagged in Nick, and TOGETHER THEY ATTEMPTED TO HIT MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, BUT DANIELS FOUGHT OUT OF IT AND PUSHED NICK INTO MATT WHO IN TURN BUMPED INTO CODY.

Daniels would tag in Kazarian, AND FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THE MATCH THEY ATTEMPTED AND NAILED THE BEST MELTZER EVER(TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER/BME COMBO) AND THIS TIME FOR THE PIN.
    Winners: SCU

    Match Time: 18:00
    Post-Match
The trio of Shawn Spears/Kip Sabian & Joey Janela attacked CODY & The Bucks, after SCU had left the ring.

    KENTA V CIMA
    Ref: Rick Knox
Both men showed a sign of mutual respect, in the form of a handshake as soon as bell rang, this truly historic first ever match was under way. A feeling out process turned into a trading of strikes. Which would see KENTA come out top and as a result meant that he gained control of the match going forward. HE(KENTA) ATTEMPTED AN NAILED A SERIES OF STIFF KICKS WHICH RESULTED IN CIMA FALLING TO THE MAT. Not wanting to let up, KENTA WOULD NAIL BACK TO BACK DOUBLE KNEE DROPS TO THE STOMACH OF CIMA,he(KENTA) placed CIMA in a seated position AND PROCEEDED TO NAIL A STIFF KICK TO THE BACK OF CIMA.

Amazingly the 22 year veteran aka CIMA kicked out at two and rolled to his feet but KENTA would get behind him and
ATTEMPT A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX BUT CIMA ROLLED THROUGH IT BACK ONTO HIS FEET, HE IN TURN THEN NAILED A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX OF HIS OWN.
As KENTA got back to his feet and backed away into one of the corners, his opponent would charge at him and drive him into the corner with a kick to the chest.

He then followed this up by placing ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE, BEFORE ATTEMPTING AND NAILNG THE ICONOCLASM.Instead of going a for a pin attempt, CIMA would climb up onto the very same turnbuckle that he had just thrown KENTA off.THEN DIVED OFF OF IT WITH A METEORA, for a close two count before KENTA kicked out of it, and rolled out to the ringside area. CIMA would also exit the ring and take the fight to his opponent at ringside, the two men would brawl around the ring for a bit before entering it once again.

CIMA WOULD ATTEMPT HIS SCHWEIN(OVER THE SHOULDER BACK TO BELLY PILEDRIVER)but KENTA would fight out of it.
The Most Dangerous Man from Japan aka KENTA would nail a few kicks to the chest of his opponent, BEFORE HOISTING HIM UP AND ATTEMPTED THE GO TO SLEEP ONLY FOR CIMA TO BLOCK THE KNEE STRIKE PART OF IT. Not wanting to let up, KENTA WOULD BACK UP AND ATTEMPT AND NAIL THE BUSAIKU-HE-NO-HIZAGERI(RUNNING KNEE STRIKE)for the pin.
    Winner: KENTA
    Match Time: 21:00

Showcase Match-If anyone pins the champion, they will get a future title opportunity
Nyla Rose© V Jordynn Grace V Awesome Kong V Jessika Havok
    Ref: Aubrey Edwards
It was quite clear as soon as the bell rang that the champion despite her title not being on the line still had a target on her back. A four way test of strength would devolve into a shoving contest, but it would be the champion(Rose) who would make the first move. AS THE WASHINGTON WAR BEAST PROCEEDED TO SPEAR KONG THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE RINGSIDE AREA.
This would leave Grace & Havok in the ring, the former(Grace) would run the ropes with a series of shoulder block attempts BUT HAVOK WOULDN’T MOVE AN INCH. When Havok proceeded to attempt the same, SHE WOULD SEND GRACE FLYING HALF-WAY ACROSS THE RING. At ringside Kong and the champion proceeded to beat the hell out of each other with Kong coming out on top.

Kong would follow this up by placing Rose up against one of the ring posts,
AND ATTEMPTED A SPINNING BACKFIST, BUT ROSE MOVED OUT OF THE WAY.THE CHAMPION WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS AND RAM KONG INTO THE FAN BARRICADE.As Rose made her way back into ring, Havok would come out on top in her brawl with Grace, and LAID HER OUT WITH A CHOKESLAM AND ATTEMPTED A PIN.

This would be broken up by the champion who, DEADLIFTED HAVOK UP WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX WITH A PIN A BRIDGE, Havok would barley mange to kick out. An enraged Kong would return to the ring and recommence her brawl with Rose, both Havoc & Grace would return to their feet as well. A four way brawl would ensue resulting with all four women laid out, as the all ended up back on their feet at the same time no one would gain and obvious advantage.
ROSE WOULD TAKE HAVOK OUT WITH A SPINNING POWERBOMNB, KONG TOOK OUT THE CHAMPION WITH AN IMPLANT BUSTER, FINALLY GRACE TOOK OUT KONG WITH A GRACE DRIVER ONTOP OF ROSE, EFFECTIVLY PINNING BOTH OF THEM.
Winner & Number One Contender to the AEW Women’s Championship: Jordynn Grace
    Match Time: 23:00

    AEW Tag Team Championship
    Ref: Earl Hebner
    Lucha Bro’s(Pentagon Jr & Rey Fenix) © V REBORN(Wheeler & Hardwood)
Pentagon and Wheeler started the match off, with neither man coming out on top it was clear that despite their compete opposite styles. The hard hitting ground and pound of REBORN and the hybrid style of the champions that this was going to be a great match. The team of Hardwood & Wheeler would take control of the match by way of a combination of outsmarting the champions and underhanded tactics.

However as soon as the pairing of Pentagon & Fenix saw an opening they proceeded to pounce on it. They did this by
ATTEMPTING AND NAILING A SERIES OF SUPERKICKS ON BOTH OF THEIR OPPONENTS WHICH SENT THEM OUT OF THE RING. Sensing blood in the water the champions would follow this, they ATTEMPTED AND NAILED SUICIDE DIVES AT THE SAME TIME. Pentagon would drag Hardwood back into the ring before tagging in Fenix, THEN ATTEMPTED AND NAILED A SLINGBLADE ON HARDWOOD, WHICH FENIX FOLLOWED UP WITH A FROGSPLASH. The pin attempting following this was broken up at the count of two by Wheeler, who nailed a few punches on Fenix, BEFORE BEING TAKEN OUT AGAIIN WITH A SUPERKICK.

As a direct result of this Hardwood had used the time to recover and grabbed Fenix and sent him into Pentagon. He(Hardwood) followed this up by ATTEMPTING AND NAILING A BRAINBUSTER, GOING FOR A PIN RIGHT AFTER, he would get a very close two count before Fenix kicked out. Both, Wheeler & Pentagon would return to the ring and Fenix & Hardwood would return to their feet, BEFORE BRAWLING LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMORROW, REBORN WOULD COME OUT ON TOP AND THREW PENTAGON OUT OF THE RING.

Before they proceeded to send Fenix into the ropes, AND ON THE REBOUND THEY ATTEMPTED THEIR TAG FINISHER AKA TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS. BUT AMAZINGLY FENIX FOUGHT OUT OF IT AND SENT HARDWOOD INTO WHEELER, BEFORE HE ATTEMPTED AND NAILED THE FENIX DRIVER(SIT-OUT MUSCLE BUSTER), but as the ref made to count the pin the time expired.
Winners: No One by way of the time running out
    Post-Match
Both champions and challengers would shake hands but then all four men were laid out by Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows with steel chairs.

    Number One Contender
    Kenny Omega V Kota Ibushi
    Ref: Earl Hebner
Chain wrestling kicked this match up between two friends and tag partners, following this a series of attempted shoulder blocks which would see Ibushi as the last man standing. The Golden Star(Ibushi) would proceed to run the ropes and on the rebound,ATTEMPTED AND NAILED A SUICIDE DIVE THAT SENT OMEGA CRASHING INTO THE FAN BARRICADE.

Ibushi would haul Omega up and put him back in the ring, making it clear that he wasn’t going to win this by count out. Omega would roll back to his feet and waited for Ibushi to enter the ring making it abundantly clear that the respect was mutual. A stare down would occur on one side of the ring, The Cleaner(Omega) and on the other The Golden Star(Ibushi). Omega would, CHARGE ACROSS THE RING WITH AN ATTEMPTED V-TRIGGER BUT IBUSHI MOVED OUT OF THE WAY, AND WRAPPED HIS ARMS AROUND OMEGA’S WAIST AND NAILED A BRIDGING GERMAN SUPLEX.

resulted in a two count before Omega kicked out and rolled to the ringside area, this left Ibushi alone in the ring. But he wasn’t going to remain there for too long as he charged to one of the corners of the ring and ascended to the top rope.
HE WOULD THEN ATTEMPT THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE MOONSAULT BUT OMEGA WOULD JUMP UP ONTO THE APRON AND CUT HIM OFF AT THE LAST SECOND

    .
Both men would end up on the apron brawling which would result in Omega coming out on top and ATTEMPTING A DRAGON SUPLEX ON THE APRON, BUT IBUSHI MANAGED TO FIGHT OUT OF IT AND ENTER THE RING ONCE MORE.Taking advantage of the situation, Ibushi would spin Omega who was still on the apron around so that he was facing away from the Golden Star.

    Ibushi would
ATTEMPT TO BRING HIS OPPONENT BACK INTO THE RING BY WAY OF AN GERMAN SUPLEX, BUT OMEGA MANAGED TO USE THE MOMENTUM TO HIS ADVANTAGE AND FLIPPED AND LANDED IN THE RING ON HIS FEET.Omega would waste little time in attempting to capitalize on a stunned Ibushi and WOULD HOIST HIM UP IN POSITION FOR CROYT’S WRATH(ELECTRIC CHAIR INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX ) AND PROCEEDED TO HIT IT. AMAZINGLY THIS ONLY GOT THE CLOSEST TWO COUNT OF THE MATCH SO FAR BEFORE IBUSHI KICKED OUT. Omega would allow his opponent to return to his feet before going back on the offense, an exchange of chops(Omega) and kicks(Ibushi) would take place. The Cleaner aka Omega would come out on top and proceeded TO KNOCK IBUSHI SENSELESS WITH A V-TRIGGER, he didn’t go for the pin though, instead he Irish whipped him into one of the corners.

Omega would place Ibushi on the top turnbuckle before ascending the ropes himself, he(Omega) would follow this up by
ATTEMPTING A HURRICRANA ONLY FOR IBUSHI TO REVERSE IT. THE GOLDEN STAR WOULD USE INCREDIBLE STRENGTH TO HOIST OMEGE UP AND PROCEEDED TO NAIL A GOLDENS STAR POWERBOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE FOR THE PIN.
Winner & Number One Contender to the AEW Championship: Kota Ibushi
    Match Time
    35:00
    Post-Match
Ibushi & Omega would hug and the latter would raise his friend’s hand in the air

    AEW Championship
    Chris Jericho© V Will O’Spreay
    Ref: Paul Turner
Before the bell had even been rung O’Spreay was so angry and out for Jericho’s blood after his actions at Double Or Nothing, that he had to be forcibly restrained by the ref. As soon as the bell rung the champion(Jericho) would hightail it out of the ring causing an already pissed off O’Spreay become even more so and made to exit the ring.

However the self-proclaimed Alpha of pro wrestling aka Jericho would just enter the ring at the same time. So the Aerial Assassin(O’Spreay) would go to enter the ring once more only for Jericho to take advantage and kick the ropes so that O’Spreay was crotched on them. The champion proceeded to attempt a roll up only for O’Spreay to kick out at the count of 1. As soon as the challenger was back on his feet the champion, would go between the top and middle ropes and the ref had to forcibly restrain O’Spreay.

Jericho would take advantage of this and spit in the face of O’Spreay, who backed up and proceeded to back away and this gave the champion the opportunity to pounce. Jericho did just that
BY ATTEMPTING AND NAILING A CODEBREAKER OUT OF NOWHERE, he would follow this up by getting to his feet and dragging his opponent to one of the corners before exiting the ring.

    The champion then proceeded to
TAKE IT TURNS TO SMASH BOTH OF O’SPREAYS LEGS INTO THE RING POST,Jericho would then enter the ring once again. He(Jericho) being would taunt both the fallen O’Spreay as well as the fans in attendance. As soon as the challenger made it back to his feet, Jericho would kick his(O’Spreay) legs out from under him and then stomped repeatedly on both of them. The champion would ATTEMPT AND LOCK IN THE WALLS OF JERICHO ON O’SPREAY WHO SCREAMED OUT IN PAIN AS HE STRUGGLED TO MAKE TO THE ROPES WHICH HE DID EVENTUALLY DO. The ref would start the count and Jericho would only let go of the hold at the count of 4, but would immediately lock the hold in this time he would LEAN BACK FURTHER AND TRANSITION FROM THE WALLS INTO THE LIONTAMER.

It was obvious that O’Spreay was in incredible pain but he would once again reach the ropes and the champion would go from overconfident to angry. This would result in Jericho making back to back mistakes which lead to O’Spreay using this time to recover and work feeling back into his legs. Jericho would charge at O’Spreay WHO WOULD CATCH THE CHAMPION OFF GUARD WITH A STANDING SPANISH FLY.The challenger pressed the advantage by waiting for the champion to return to his feet, BEFORE NAILING A SUPERKICK, THEN ANOTHER AND FINALLY A HOOK KICK.

As Jericho fell to a knee, O’Spreay would
CHARGE AND ATTEMPT AND NAIL THE ESSEX DESTROYER, BUT STILL DIDN’T GO FOR THE PIN, HE WOULD DRAG THE CHAMPION BACK TO A KNEELING POSITION. The Aerial Assassin would get behind Jericho BEFORE ATTEMPTING AND NAILING THREE HIDDEN BLADES(HIGH IMPACT ELBOW STRIKE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD) IN A ROW.Jericho would crumble to the mat and the ref would tell O’Spreay to back off before he checked on the fallen champion.

The ref would help Jericho up and check with him, if he wanted to continue but he shook his head. So Knox was about to signal for the bell
BUT JERICHO WOULD NAIL THE JUDUS EFFECT OUT OF NOWHERE ON O’SPREAY and cover him for the pin.
Winner & Still AEW Champion: Chris Jericho
    Match Time
    40:00
The show ended with a beaten down but victorious Jericho taunting the fans and walking up the ramp onto the stage. It was clear that Jericho still held all the power in regards to AEW.

Re: AEW: Second Time is the Charm

    AEW Fight for the Fallen

    Commentary: Excalibur & Jim Ross
Referees: Paul Turner, Rick Knox, Aubrey Edwards, Earl Hebner

The event opened up with a nineteen man over the top rope where the winner would face Hangman Adam Page, for the AEW Openweight Championship tomorrow night at All Out. It came down to the final four, Brodie Harper, CIMA, Christopher Daniels & Dustin Rhodes. Harper would eliminate CIMA, while Rhodes eliminated Daniels, After a further five minutes of action Harper would send Rhodes out to the floor following a running big boot.

The second match of the night was a tag team match with the team of
Bea Priestley & Jessika Havok, going up against AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose & Number One Contender Jordynn Grace. In the end a miscommunication between Rose and Grace, that lead to Rose to abandon her soon to be opponent(Grace). Havok pinned Grace following a Tombstone Piledriver. The Washington Warbeast(Rose) came out and laid out Grace with a Spinning Powerbomb.

The third match of the night was a six man tag team match between the teams of Cody & The Young Bucks, against the team self styled name of GeNeRaTiOn EgO aka Shawn Spears, Joey Janela & Kip Sabian. The match would come to its conclusion when Spears nailed a Running Death Valley Driver called the Ego Trip on Matt Jackson.

Next up was a one on one encounter between one half of the current
AEW Tag Team Champions Pentagon Jr, and the Death Rider aka Jon Moxley. The referee who was officiating this match in this case Rick Knox, would be somewhat lenient when it came to the rules. The two men would brawl around the ringside are and into the crowd, they would bring it back into the ring where Pentagon attempted the Fear Factor only for Moxley to fight out of it. This lead to Moxley tearing at Pentagon’s mask then nailing the Double Underhook DDT for the pin.

The fifth match of the night was a thirteen tag team gauntlet where the winners would face the Lucha Brothers for the AEW Tag Team Championship at All Out. The team of Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus accompanied by Marko Stunt collectively known as 2 boys and their Dinosaur, would put on a herculean effort. Managing to outlast five teams before being eliminated by the Dark Order.

Two of the teams who were scheduled to compete in the match,
REBORN(Hardwood & Wheeler) and Guns & Ammo(Anderson & Gallows) would engage in a wild brawl and had to be separated by security. In the end it would be the Dark Order who walked out of the match as the number one contenders.

In a champion vs champion encounter where no titles were on the line, between the other half of the
AEW Tag Team Champions aka Rey Fenix. Going one on one with the AEW Openweight Champion aka Hangman Adam Page. After a high paced match that lasted twenty five minutes and included an attempted Buckshot Lariat reversed into a standing spanish fly, and an attempted 450 splash that Page got the knees up and rolled Fenix up for a close two count. In the end it would be Fenix who pinned Page with a Muscle Buster transitioned into a Michinoku Driver.

Finally in the main event tag team match with one team consisting of AEW Champion Chris Jericho & MJF and the other being the Golden Lovers consisting of Kenny Omega, and the number one contender to Jericho’s title Kota Ibushi.
Some thought that tensions might be at breaking point between Omega & Ibushi, since it was the former that Ibushi pinned to become number one contender.
However that theory was put to rest in the first five minutes of the match, as the duo would work like a well oiled machine. In the end though it wouldn't matter as Jericho nailed Ibushi unseen by the ref with the AEW title which lead to, MJF cockily pining the Golden Star. While Jericho nailed the Judas Effect on Omega at ringside.

Re: AEW: Second Time is the Charm

    AEW All Out

Excalibur & Jim Ross welcomed the AEW faithful to the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates Illinois.

Street Fight-Winners face the Lucha Brothers on the first episode of Dynamite REBORN(Daniel Wheeler & David Hardwood) V Guns N Ammo(Anderson & Gallows)
As soon as the bell rang the teams would brawl, seemingly trying to inflict as much pain as humanly possible. This match would see a variety of weapons, tables, ladders, trash cans, staple guns basically any weapon you can think of they found a way to use them. After about sixteen minutes of brutal in ring and ringside action which would see Hardwood put through a table with the Magic Killer.
The other half of REBORN(Wheeler) would use this to will himself to fight against both Anderson & Gallows. He would put up a valiant fight and managed to put Gallows through a table on his own as Hardwood recovered, as he returned to his feet Wheeler obtained a steel chair. Together they proceeded to nail a chair assisted variant of their Taking Care of Business finisher on Anderson for the pin.
Winners & Number One Contenders: REBORN
    Post-Match
Both Wheeler & Hardwood would offer their hands to Anderson & Gallows who accepted and seemingly put their feud to an end.

    BACKSTAGE
A split screen showed the Cleaner Kenny Omega preparing for his match, while on the other side of the screen his opponent(MJF) was yelling at a stagehand about getting his coffee order wrong.
    BACK TO RINGSIDE

    Kenny Omega V MJF
It was crystal clear that there was no love lost between these two men given the circumstances of how their tag match the previous night ended. The Cleaner would dominate the first half of the match, while his opponent tried to get a cheap victory by any means possible. Omega would kick MJF in the gut and follow it up by nailing a Double Underhook Piledriver, and he wasn’t finished there, as he would deliver not one but two V-Triggers. Seemingly not satisfied by this Omega would attempt a third V-Trigger only for his groggy opponent to fall down, causing the Cleaner to get tangled up in the ropes.

MJF would return to his feet and attempted a roll up on Omega with a handful of tights, which got a close two count before the Cleaner kicked out. MJF would pick Omega up and attempted to throw him out of the ring only for his opponent to land on the aprion. As Omega attempted to enter the ring, his opponent would kick the middle rope causing it to hit Omega between the legs. As the ref reprimanded MJF, Omega would fall into the ring and instead of going for the pin, the latter would exit the ring. The ref would start to make the count but it wouldn’t be too long before the cocky prick(MJF) returned to the ring with a steel chair in hand. Of course the ref wouldn’t allow this and while the ref was busy with removing the weapon, MJF would attempt to nail a low blow on Omega.
This didn’t end up going to plan as Omega would catch the attempt and put a stop to it, but MJF would spit into the face of Omega. So an enraged Omega would attempt to nail a clothesline on MJF who ducked, as a result, Omega nearly hit the ref and stopped himself at the last second. As the ref was distracted MJF nailed a low blow on Omega and rolled him up for the pin.
    Winner: MJF

    DARK IS ORDER
The Dark Order surrounded by their minions would cut a promo on how they would end the Lucha Brothers tonight

    BACK TO THE RING

    Aja Kong V Awesome Kong
This match had the unofficial tagline of “Battle of the Kongs” which saw the self proclaimed, Tenth Wonder of the World(Awesome Kong) taking on the living legend(Aja Kong. This match was brutal from the get go with both women doing their best to inflict as much damage on one another. A true slugfest drag out brawl, you have heard of immovable object meets irresistible force? That didn’t exactly apply to this it was more immovable object meets an immovable object. Despite both women being fairly matched in terms of both weight and height and age, the only real difference was that Aja had an edge in experience. In the end it would be Awesome Kong who after nailing an Implant Buster and followed this up with the Awesome Bomb.
    Winner: Awesome Kong

THE DEFENDING CHAMPIONS HAVE CERO MIEDO
The defending AEW Tag Team Champions, The Lucha Brothers made up of Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr would keep it short and sweet for their opponents. No tenemos miedo cuando te enfrentamos(We have no fear when facing you)
    BACK TO THE RING

AEW Tag Team Championship Lucha Bro’s(c) V The Dark Order
The challengers would gain an unfair advantage as they attacked the champions before the bell. However it wouldn’t last long as the pairing of Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr fought back and sent both Grayson & Uno flying out of the ring with clotheslines. The challengers would regroup at ringside with their group of minions, not wanting to let up both Fenix & Pentagon would attempt Suicide dives but at the last minute both Grayson & Uno moved out of the way meaning that the champions hit the minions instead. Grayson would grab Fenix and send him into the fan barricade, and then did the same to Pentagon. Uno then nailed back-to back Cannonball Sentons on both of them, following this the challengers would take Fenix back into the ring, and work him over before the ref forced Grayson out of the ring. Uno would turn his attention to the ref and argued with him, this would turn out to be a mistake on his part as the downed Fenix returned to his feet. He(Fenix) would taunt Uno who charged at him and then followed this up and nailed a dropkick which rocked the bigger man, Fenix then followed this up with a Handspring Cutter transitioned into a Dragon Sleeper.

As Grayson entered the ring to break up the hold, this would also cause Pentagon to enter it as well. All four men would brawl, Grayson with Fenix and Uno with Pentagon, in the end it would be the champions who came out on top. Who nailed a Double Superkick to Uno who rolled out of the ring, and then attempted to do the same to Grayson, who ducked the first attempt but not the second. As Fenix went for the pin, Uno would launch a steel chair into the chest of Pentagon on the outside.
Winners by DQ & Still AEW Tag Team Champions: Lucha Bro’s

    Post-Match
REBORN(Hardwood & Wheeler) would run The Dark Order off before helping up the champions. Showing mutual respect.
    BACKSTAGE
    ENTER THE HANGMAN
The current AEW Openweight Champion the one and only Adam “Hangman” Page would cut a promo, stating that he was happy that his business with MJF was in the past. It meant that he could be a fighting champion and that would mean that he would take on any and all comers starting with the Bearded Badass aka Brodie Harper.
    BACK TO THE RING

    Jon Moxley V Cody
In the fifth match of the night the American Nightmare(Cody) went to war with the Death Rider(Moxley). While these two men had competed against each other in the WWE, this was the first time they had been in the same ring in years. It was obvious from the get go that both men had grown tremendously in regards to their respective in ring game.

SUDDENLY, WE CUT BACKSTAGE AND GeNeRaTiOn EgO ARE BEATING DUSTIN RHODES DOWN. Without caring about the match, Cody left the ring as any good brother would and a split second later Moxley would exit the ring as well. As both men arrived backstage they would find a bloodied Dustin on the ground, who tried to speak but before anything else could happen.
Janela & Sabian would nail low blows on both of them as Spears got a steel chair and wrapped it around Dustin’s neck and threw him into a wall. AEW Coaches & Referees would force the trio of Spears/Sabian & Janela from the building as Cody tried to help his brother.
    BACK TO THE RING

    The Young Bucks V ???
The Jackson brothers(Matt & Nick) would make their way out to the ring and got on the microphone to thank the fans in attendance for all helping in making AEW a possibility. WHEN TWO MASKED MEN IN HOODIES JUMP THEM FROM BEHIND THROWING NICK OUT OF THE RING, AND LAYING OUT MATT WITH A VERY FAMILIAR TAG TEAM MOVE(GUERRILLA WARFARE). The two men take off their mask and take down the hoods to reveal, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa of G.O.D and Bullet Club.

    The Young Bucks(Matt & Nick Jackson) V G.O.D(Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa)
If it wasn’t clear from the get go that the Jackson brothers were not prepared for the match, it became very obvious that they weren’t. The current IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions aka G.O.D would spend the first half of the match beating down both Matt & Nick, they also would barely listen to the ref pushing the limits to breaking point. Loa would catch a springboarding Nick and dam near cut him in half with a spear, then picked him up and nailed a shoulder tackle into his corner before tagging in Tama.

Who attempted a Stinger Splash on Nick who amazingly ducked out of the way, and crawled over to the opposite side of the ring to tag in his brother only for Loa to drag Matt off the apron. At ringside Loa would lay Matt out with a Running Powerslam, as the ref exited the ring to check on the fallen Matt. Loa would enter the ring and block an attempted Superkick from Nick and proceeded to put him in position for Apeshit(Over the Shoulder Piledriver).
As Tama climbed up to the top rope and together they nailed a Spiked Apeshit and Tama pinned Nick for the three count.
    Winners: Guerrillas of Destiny

BACKSTAGE A BADASS MAKES HIMSELF KNOWN
The one and only true badass of pro wrestling aka Brodie Harper arrived at the arena in a pickup truck. A group of thugs would attempt to belittle Harper for his choice of truck, so he proceeded to beat the crap out of them and said that he would do much worse to Page.
    BACK IN THE ARENA
AEW Women’s Championship Washington Warbeast Nyla Rose(c) V Jordynn Grace
The challenger was out for the champions blood given Rose’s actions the previous night at Fight for the Fallen. So much so that the referee had to physically and told her to calm down before he signaled for the bell. As the tunnel visioned Grace charged at Rose who just dodged her and rolled her up out of nowhere and got a very close two count. This seemed to have a somewhat sobering effect on Grace who would back up and rethink her plan for the remainder of her match, as instead of playing into Rose’s hands she would trade taunts with the champion.

Rose would attempt to charge at Grace, only for her to move out of the way leading to the champion to fall through the ropes. The challenger would waste little time in running the ropes and launching herself at the champion, causing both women to crash into the fan barricade. Grace would be the first to return to a standing position and dragged Rose back to her feet, immediately following this the women would brawl at ringside. It would be the challenger who came out on top of this and beat the champion down and then threw her back into the ring.

As Grace attempted to return to the ring, Rose would jump back to her feet and proceeded to kick the middle rope which caused Grace to get caught up in the ropes. The Washington Warbeast(Rose) would follow this up by grabbing Grace and proceeded to drag her into the center of the ring and nailed the Spinning Powerbomb for the pin.
Winner & Still AEW Women’s Champion: Nyla Rose

    BACKSTAGE
The GOLDEN STAR GETS AN OMEGA BOOST
Kota Ibushi would cut a promo on what his match against the Painmaker tonight meant to him. He stated that opportunity meant so much more to him because he had to go through his best friend(Kenny Omega), to obtain it and because of what happened at Fight for the Fallen, he(Ibushi) would be out for more than just Jericho’s title. None other than the Cleaner himself(Omega) wold appear beside the Golden Star and said that he had his back tonight and always.
    BACK TO THE RING

AEW Openweight ChampionshipAdam “Hangman” Page(c) V Bearded Badass Brodie Harper
At the beginning of this match seemed to be that the bigger challenger would use his strength to throw the champion around the ring, this would work but only in the short term. Page would take control after he successfully flipped out of an attempted biel throw, which saw him land on his feet. When Harper charged at the champion he would have his feet taken out from under him by way of a dropkick to his knees. Almost like the Hangman smelled blood in the water as he would set to work on wearing down the legs of the “Bearded Badass”, so much so that Harper would have no choice but to roll to ringside.

Page would exit the ring and stood on the apron before running and attempted to hit a standing shooting star press, only Harper to throw caution to the win and nail a big boot to Page in mid-air. Harper would spend the next five minutes attempting to recover at ringside as the ref started the count, the challenger(Harper) entered the ring at six while Page just barely made it in at nine. Both men would return to their feet and met head on in the center of the ring and brawled with Harper once again coming out on top, who would throw Page out of the ring only for him land on the apron and springboard back in attempt the Buckshot Lariat only for Harper to catch him in a Spinning Side Slam.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut the champion had the wherewithal to roll out of the ring and to ringside, the big man would keep on the attack and attempted a suicide dive but Page moved. As a result, Harper crashed and burned face first into the fan barricade.
LIGHTS GO OUT IN THE ARENA WHEN THEY COME BACK ON A HOODED MAN IS IN THE RING. IT’SSSSSSSSSSSSSS PAC
The self-proclaimed Bastard would waste little time in laying out Page and beating him down, the suddenness of this attack left the ref a bit behind the times and hastened to call for the bell. PAC would choke out Page with his Brutalizer finisher. Harper would return to the ring and realization dawned on him and he would return to the ring in an attempt to confront PAC, who just smirked and mockingly waved at the big man as he left the ring. Harper would help Page up and they would shake hands before both men headed backstage

    .
    THE PAINMAKER MAKES HIS ENTRANCE
The reigning AEW Champion would come out onto the stage accompanied by his band Fozzy, who started to play a live version of his theme “Judas” and MJF who cheered them on. Which was cut off by the arrival of the Golden Lovers(Omega & Ibushi) who brawled with both MJF and the champion. Eventually the four men would make it to the ring where they would be separated by refs and were restrained as AEW President Tony Khan came out onto the stage. He had a microphone and announced that while their actions couldn’t be condoned both Omega and MJF could stay at ringside because he had hired a special guest enforcer……………..DOUBLE A ARN ANDERSON.Anderson would of course receive a huge response from the fans in attendance as he made his way down to the ringside area.
AEW ChampionshipThe Painmaker Chris Jericho w MJF(c) V The Golden Star Kota Ibushi w Kenny OmegaGuest Enforcer: Arn Anderson The egotistical and overconfident champion would hurl a stream of verbal abuse at both the challenger(Ibushi) and his teammate(Omega). However the Golden Star would see that this didn’t last long by way of a stiff kick to the head which floored Jericho. As the champion rolled to the ringside area and regrouped with MJF buuuuuut Ibushi was having none of that, as he would go to the corner and attempted the Golden Triangle Moonsault but both Jericho & MJF would move out of the way and as a result Ibushi crashed and burned.

The champion would get back into the ring and taunted Omega at ringside, which caused the Cleaner to get up onto the ring apron. Before the ref could tell Omega to get off the apron he(Omega) would be confronted by Anderson who didn’t get physical but told Omega to get down or else. Ibushi would enter ring at the count of seven, and attempted to go on the attack only for Jericho to back up into the corner causing the challenger to unintentionally to force the ref to intervene and back Ibushi away. Jericho would take advantage of the situation and nailed an unseen low blow to Ibushi with the ref getting caught up in it as well. The champion would motion for MJF to get into the ring so they could beat on Ibushi together, of course Omega wouldn’t stand for this and got into the ring as well and of course Anderson as well.

Anderson would try to diplomatically defuse the situation but MJF would push him away, leading to Anderson nailing him with a spinebuster. The champion would get into Anderson’s face which lead to Omega attempting to nail the V-Trigger on Jericho who pushed Anderson into it instead. Leading to the champion to nail the Judas Effect on Omega, the champion would follow this up by hitching a shit eating grin on his face and taunted the crowd. When he turned around he was met by an enraged and reinvigorated Ibushi who would successfully attempt and nail several stiff kicks to the chest of the champion, which would cause Jericho to exit the ring.

For the second time in the match the Golden Star would attempt the Golden Triangle Moonsault and this time he would successfully nail it. Not wanting to let up on his momentum the Golden Star would attempt a Moonsult but Jericho moved and Ibushi landed on his feet, and nailed a standing moonsault and attempted a pin following this. Which would get him a very close two count and Ibushi would be the first back to a standing position, and he would grab Jericho and drag him up and attempted to nail the Golden Star Powerbomb but Jericho fought out of it and then attempted and nailed the Judas Effect out of nowhere for the pin.
Winner & Sill AEW Champion: Chris Jericho
    Post-Match
Jericho & MJF would beat the crap out of the down Ibushi before Omega came into the ring with a chair in hand and sent them packing.
