    FWA Power 20 #01

    1. Cyrus Truth (FWA Champion) - Cyrus Truth has proven that even in the post revival FWA, he not only remains the face of the company, but also the man who sets the bar. Cyrus Truth may very well be the measuring stick that defines what type of competitor is worthy of carrying the prestigious FWA World Heavyweight Championship. Since FWA revival and on through FWA Quest For The Best, Cyrus Truth kicked off the new era with a 5-Star match with Phillip A. Jackson that saw him retaining. From there he found himself at odds with the tandem of Bell Connelly and Chris Kennedy, and the returning Shannon O'Neal, culminating in a big win at Quest For The Best in a match that Cyrus Truth's bitter rival Chris Kennedy partially officiated. Cyrus Truth's recent run hasn't been completely flawless, however. A loss to Dave Sullivan and a consistently decreasing television presence have threatened to slow his momentum, but even in spite of that there is no one in the FWA that is competing at Cyrus Truth's level right now and that's why our FWA Champion takes the top spot in the inaugural Power 20.

    2. Dave Sullivan (FWA North American Champion/FWA X-Champion) - One of the biggest rarities in the FWA is to see a double-champion. In the early days of FWA, management was very careful to keep this from happening, often stripping competitors of one title over the other in the event that this happened. That's why Dave Sullivan holding the North American Championship in the middle of a record breaking X-Championship run is such a HUGE deal. When the FWA claimed they were in the midst of all new era, a rebooted FWA, Dave Sullivan took advantage in a big way. Just look at his path since Revival: Defended the X-Championship at the Revival Pay-Per-View. Defeated Cyrus Truth after that. Broke KAIZEN's record for longest X-Championship reign in the history of the FWA. Defended the X-Championship at Quest For The Best, WINNING the North American Championship at Quest For The Best. When you put all of that down on paper like that, it's pretty hard to argue that Dave Sullivan isn't the hottest ticket in FWA right now. The "King of the X-Division" will start proclaiming himself "The King Of The FWA" soon enough, that's for certain.

    3. Gabrielle - Gabrielle's standout feud with Izzy Van Doren has been considered by many to be a highlight in the FWA since her return. You almost have to admire the irony in Gabrielle Montgomery, formerly Gabrielle Kennedy, formerly Gabrielle Ignito (you get the picture), a legend in her own right and a guaranteed future Hall Of Famer, being so instrumental in this new post-Revival FWA. As if her career couldn't get any more decorated than it already is, The Caramel Goddess adds the title of BEST OF THE BEST to her profile, winning the 2019 Quest For The Best Tournament and earning her a shot at the FWA Championship. Gabrielle has the opportunity to shoot all the way to the top of this list, she just has to get through Cyrus Truth. No pressure though.

    4. Shannon O'Neal - Shannon has made a huge impact since returning to FWA, contributing just as much to the post-Revival FWA landscape as her former rival Gabrielle. Her win at Revival against Bell Connelly was a big deal that was meant to be the conclusion to a nearly two year old angle. Though she came up short in the main event at Quest For The Best, her farewell to the FWA following the match was a tender moment. It's unlikely we'll see Shannon go any higher on this list as Quest For The Best was her last contracted FWA appearance for the foreseeable future.

    5. The Warriors Of Virtue (XYZ and Lord Dog) - The road to the Tag Team titles hasn't been an easy one for The Warriors. The two former rivals who, through common ground and like-minded ideals, became brothers, began their journey with The Sin City Vultures, then on to The New Breed and finally The PAJ project. Along the way they have secured a considerable amount of momentum and grabbed the Tag Team titles. Not bad for a pair of dudes whose match was almost cut from last years Back in Business due to time constraints.

    6. Bell Connelly - Bell hasn't racked up a ton of wins since the post-Revival relaunch but every match she's been in has been a treat to anyone who's watched, and her role as the top heel on Fight Night and foil to the likes of Cyrus Truth and Shannon O'Neal has been invaluable. We expect Bell to slide down this list while she deals with a potential injury but we can't imagine that will keep her down for long.

    7. The PAJ Project - The cerebral cunning of veteran Philip A. Jackson. The raw, brute strength of Viktor Maximus. The PAJ Project may have recently dropped the tag team titles, but that doesn't change the fact they have carried the tag division since Back in Business. Let's also not forget about Phillip A.Jackson's epic FWA Championship match with Cyrus Truth at FWA Revival which is still being talked about on social media, dubbed by some as the match of the year so far. We don't think the PAJ Project are going to let the Tag Team titles go for too long.

    8. Izzy Van Doren -Izzy Van Doren's meteoric rise to to the upper end of the FWA card has been significant in that she's solidified herself as a main event levelcontender without winning the FWA championship. She recently came close to realizing that dream as she dominated the Quest For The Best tournament, making her way to the finals only to come up short against her rival, Gabrielle. We expect big things to come from Izzy Van Doren, and we can't imagine she see's her loss at Quest For The Best as nothing more than a minor setback.

    9. The New Breed - Led by "The Prodigy" Mike Parr, The Prototype and The Protege have made a tremendous impact on the FWA since arriving, and after their impressive win over the returning Over The Edge, it would seem that they are bound for the FWA Tag Team titles. Parr has imparted these young up-and-comers with his wisdom and tactical thinking and it's made for one hell of a combo.

    10. Jason Randall - The unsung workhorse of the FWA, Jason Randall consistently performs at the top level. He's often overlooked because, unfortunately, his opponents as of late haven't delivered the same level of quality that he has. Randall has cracked the top ten in spite of this, on the back of his work alone, but just imagine how far he could go with a meatier feud, potentially a title feud at that, for him to sink his teeth into? We here at FWA.com thinks it's about time.

    11. Starr - Before Back in Business, it seemed like Starr was on top of the world, with back to back feuds with main eventers such as Wolf and Bell Connelly. It seemed apparent that Starr was being positioned as a top face in the company second only to Cyrus Truth. Well, Starr has somewhat lost his shine since then, and after dropping the North American championship to Dave Sullivan, many are wondering where Starr is at mentally. In any event, Starr is still among the FWA's elite in terms of what he does in the ring and on the mic, so he still places highly on this list. Knowing what Starr is capable of, we are hopeful he returns to form and then we can see him rising up to the top just like a shooting...starr.

    12. Dominick Armistead - It's been quite some time since we've seen an FWA debut this impressive. Armistead has made a hell of an impact and while he didn't advance in the finals, he looked great in the Quest For The Best Tournament. We see big things in store for our So-Called Savior of The FWA!

    13. Over The Edge - Led by James "Eyensane" Hughes, Over The Edge is back, baby! Killemall and Ted have been sorely missed in the FWA, but something about seeing the trio back in action just gives us goosebumps. The only thing missing? Alana Allure! The Tag Team veterans may have come up short against The New Breed at Quest For The Best, but a little bit of ring rust is to be expected. If you need to know anything about Over The Edge, it's that when they get knocked down they ALWAYS get back up.

    14. Masked Assailant (???) - We don't know who the hell it is behind that mask, but whoever it is has certainly left their mark on the FWA. The mystery man targeted Tommy Thunder at Aftershock last year and has been stalking him from the shadows ever since. At Quest For The Best he defeated Thunder and crossed him off "the list." We can't help but wonder what's next for this man of mystery.

    15. “Amadeus” Kevin Cromwell - The former X-Champion was once a hot prospect among management. He received a big X-Division push upon arriving in the FWA and was always consistently booked in prolific matches for the X-Championship and NA Championship. It would seem that Cromwell hasn't quite lived up to those expectations but he is still among the most exciting performers in the FWA to watch.

    16. Tristan James Galloway - TJG has been kind of in limbo since his epic feud with Wolf last year. However, at Quest For The Best, something changed in Tristan James Galloway and we saw a fire in him that we haven't seen in quite some time. If the social media reaction to Galloway's actions are any indication, the whole world is, for the first time in a minute, waiting to see what Tristan James Galloway is going to do next.

    17. Penny - PWI's most underrated wrestler of 2018, Penny is someone who shines every time she get's an opportunity. Alongside Jason Randall as part of the semi-regular tag team "The Mad Kingdom", she defeated rival Mac Michaud and partner Sterling Jagger at Quest For The Best in a great performance. We can't get enough of Penny. In fact, we are petition for MORE OF HER!

    18. Tommy Thunder - Tommy Thunder has long been considered a promising star on the rise. But he isn't a rookie anymore, and hasn't been for a little while, so now it's time to start seeing results. He may have lost to the Masked Assailant at Quest For The Best, but Tommy Thunder is nothing if not resilient, and we are confident Thunder will make his presence known in a big way, sooner than later.

    19. Sterling Jagger - The sex-crazed degenerate known as Sterling Jagger is one of the more colorful personalities in the FWA, and he's exciting to watch every time he is on tv. Here is to hoping that we see him on TV just a bit more going forward. There is a ton of potential to the character and he's only now starting to find his footing.

    20. "The Blue Dragon" Lucian Ace - Unfortunately, Ace's return and (what appears to be) his immediate exit from the FWA doesn't get Ace very far on the list. It's always unfortunate to see someone injured, especially when it seemed like they were being positioned for an immediate push. We hope Ace a speedy recovery, and we can imagine he'll have something to say to Tristan James Galloway when he does return.
