WWE WWE discussing potential partnerships in Japan

WON: WWE had reps in Japan this week talking with promotions about potential partnerships for NXT Japan
There’s been some speculation that Japan is next for WWE’s expansion plans, and Dave in the latest Observer talks about some movement on that front.

Paul Levesque, doing media in the United Arab Emirates, said there would be Performance Centers in the Middle East, India, Latin America and other places. WWE had reps in Japan this past week to talk with different companies about business relations and opening the door for NXT Japan.
Pretty interesting, Seems like it would be extremely difficult to break into the Japanese market though.

WHy would it be difficult? WWE is big there and anyone with even a slight piece of name value has opened their own indy promotion in Japan at some point. Seems like a very obvious market to go for and it'd be really interesting to see how they take over or ransack

I wonder why KENTA was allowed to leave his contract while others weren't or why he was allowed to work Marufuji's anniversary show or why NOAH seem to be rebranding

    I dunno.

Can't say I'm wise to Japanese wrestling politics, but I have somewhat of an understanding of Japanese culture, and I can't see them as a country/government just letting some foreign swine in with the aim of damaging their own companies.
