Here's an interesting proposed solution to rising sea levels.

Now, obviously the best case scenario would be to prevent such from happening. But, humanity would gladly rather spend trillions on blowing eachother up, and destroying the planet for profit, so that's unlikely.
    Everything will surely be alright.

The worrisome part is how bad it will get ( lack of resources, migrant issues, population dissplacement, extreme heat) for our children and their children.

Though i think end of civiliazation is a stretch, the hard times will be pretty bad and that is the point i was aiming for with the article. Has anyone read anything contradicting these potential realities?

Dont just focus on the end of society. Focus on the sufferring before we get there .

Also the amazon is on fire.

I'm kind of in the middle personally if I'm being honest. I'm environmentally conscious, recycle, try do the right things, I even scrapped my car and got a pushbike.

But recently all the talk is about the beef industry and a fair few people I know have stopped eating beef products but I'm not gonna do that..

I don't eat much veg at all really my diet pretty much consists of protein fruit and beef.. So yea, mixed bag for the environment

Yes, raising cattle is quite taxing on the environment. And yes, it would be better environmentally if everyone cut it from their diets. But you're still doing a lot better than many by taking the steps you have for environmentalism.
    Everything will surely be alright.

It's late but not too late, and anything is worth a shot to turn it around.
