Just read that Rutger Hauer passed away at 75. He had a good run in the late 70's into the 90's. Blade Runner of course, but Blind Fury and Crossworlds are great little movies.

Damn, I just watched Blind Fury a couple of months back and it held up really well. He was awesome in pretty much everything, especially Nighthawks. RIP.

I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen you say something good about Blade Runner

Also R.I.P. to a great actor

I should have said “even in that crap fest Blade Runner” just to keep myself honest.

Rutger Hauer the only Movie I saw him in was Blade Runner, and it's still one of my favorite Films of all time, and he plays a major role in my love for it. It might be time to check out his journey as an Actor, no longer a Replicant, now an Angel.

You also saw him in Batman Begins as the guy that fired Morgan Freeman after saying “didn’t you get the memo?” and probably also caught him in Sin City as Cardinal Roark. He was in way more stuff than people realize, outside of his most memorable roles.

I just remembered he was the lead in Sam Peckinpah’s last movie, The Osterman Weekend, which is well worth seeking out for anyone that likes an odd little mystery story. Plus you get the bonus of seeing Dennis Hopper dealing with his coked out wife, Craig T. Nelson beating people up in a karate scene and Meg Foster playing a face for what I believe is the only time in her career!

Oh I forgot the Batman Begins appearance slipped my mind there. Truthfully I've never seen Sin City.

    Fuck R.I.P.

Easy Rider is one of my all-time favourite movies and I was literally planning on watching it tomorrow night so that’s now a must.
