Yeah Pittsburgh is scary as shit. They could have played better, but Islanders were on a mission, and Pitt has played a lot of hockey the past 3 years. Crosby had super dark under eye circles in his post game interview which kind of made me feel bad for him.

Fun fact: I was at game 4 in the 98 final. Didn’t feel special then, but now I feel pretty lucky to have been there. Took 20 years for me to come to that realization. I’ll have to ask my mom if she still has the pictures.

I watched 90% of the Pittsburgh games this year, as a frequent watcher from the begin of the year they were disjointed. They goalie situation is sort of a mess, and their defense was pretty awful all year. Also, players like Malkin and Kessel weren't exactly two players this year (Not like they ever were haha)

OMB calling them overrated has to be the silliest thing I've ever heard.

With your takes on Lebron, and the Penguins are you also going to say Tom Brady sucks? Waiting for that statement, unless you already made it.

Alright, against my better judgment, I'm going to bite on this. Why would you hate every sports team from a particular city? For that matter, why Pittsburgh? The only team you should really dislike, based on the teams in your sidebar, is the Pirates. The Steelers don't have any sort of rivalry with the Bills, nor do the Penguins with the Sabres. You'd be better served hating teams from Boston, or even the entire state of Wisconsin as a bit of a stretch.

Did the city of Pittsburgh do something bad to you?

What I'm confused with is he hates teams which is whatever, but to then say certain teams or players are overrated because you hate them is so ridiculous.

And on another note I know some fans who legit hate players who go to another team. Seriously, a person who gets drafted to a team who for the most part has no connection to that city is supposed to stay with that team for their whole career out of some blind loyalty. The most ridiculous logic I've ever heard of.

I'm not a Penguins fan, but I do love their name and mascot. Penguins are awesome.

And Sid is just greatness..While I personally like Ovi more, it's just hard to deny Sid is one of the best of the generation.

Guys like Sid, Ovi, and I may be bias here, but Bergeron as well..Just truly great, and you have to admit and respect that. Even if you hate the team.

Penguins aren't overrated and overhyped, tbh.

If anything proved to be, it was Lightning after that great regular season and hype going into the post just to play like that.
    Everything will surely be alright.

I was so very happy to see the Bruins survive the Maple Leafs. That Leafs team has so much young talent, but their coach is kind of an idiot. Onto Columbus, feels weird saying that.

So some jackass in Washington has started to blow a horn in the same pattern as Pittsburgh. First off, wow, way to sound like your number one enemy, jackass. Second, hope Carolina finished you off, dumbshit.

Boston going for the sweep tonight in Carolina. Though, I'd take a gentleman's sweep so I can watch the game Saturday night.

Good to see the St. Louis Blues get into the Stanley Cup Finals. It's a rematch of the 1970 final. The Blues are a great story, but the hard truth is, they've never won a game in the 3 finals they've been in. So, we'll see...I'll take another Bruins sweep.

I think Bruins win in 5, in Boston.

Blues are good, but that top line for Boston is just incredible.

Now that Pasta is clicking again and seems to be recovered more from his injury, and with how lights out McAvoy has been playing?
    Everything will surely be alright.

I hope the Blues win. For one, I think it's a better story overall, particularly given where they were on the 2nd of January. For another, Boston winning is just so ho hum to me. I won't be watching anyway. This entire playoff season (outside of the excellent Sharks/Avs series) has been totally lackluster and a real validation for changing up the inane format that the league has come up with.

I'm just ecstatic the year I decided to jump back into watching hockey again, Boston is in the Stanley. :P

Ironic, because last year I decided to watch baseball again (Didn't really end up watching that much, though), Sox won it all.
    Everything will surely be alright.

Pretty good series so far, I'm not a Bruins fans but there are some diehard fans here, and I've heard the same about St. Louis. It would be pretty awesome to see the Blues win their first Stanley Cup.

It would be awesome, just a different season. If the Bruins weren't in the finals, I'd be rooting for the Blues, they're a great story.

    Same here.

Also, fantastic game tonight. Especially by Krug.

Bergy has seemed sore or playing injured this series, and most of the post. Missing some shots he usually makes...Still playing great, but not up to his usual.

Pasta seems really on and off, and Marchand....While he was exceptional in previous games this post, has been a ghost this series and the last.

But I still think Bruins win in 5.

Tuukka is other worldly right now, and that top line is insanity when it's clicking.
    Everything will surely be alright.

I think the Bruins are the better team in most facets of the game. 4 for 4 on the PP last night. The Blues want to come out and try to intimidate, because they're the physically bigger team and it's not working. The Bruins are getting them to play the game they want...taking stupid penalties, Bruins are a shot blocking machine and David Backes is in the Blues D-Man heads. Binnington is good, but showing he's a rookie at the wrong times.

As good as he is, I think the fact they have a rookie goalie is going to be a big factor in deciding the B's win.

Because even the top goalies in the league have a hard time slowing the B's top line.
    Everything will surely be alright.

I don't see the Final playing out well for Boston. They're banged up, getting outplayed and out muscled. The refs aren't doing either team any favors. Boston's top two lines have disappeared. Can't win without scoring.
