    Been doing a bit of Qigong and Yoga lately, myself.

    Been doing physical therapy twice a week, as well for some back issues related to mild scoliosis I didn't know I had.

    As far as diet goes, haven't had any booze since Dec 21st, and have been eating mostly clean for around 5-6 months now. I do enjoy snacks, and stuff here and there.

    Was 226 at my heaviest last winter (2018), and was down to 165 at my physical this year in March. So I've definitely noticed a huge change.
    Everything will surely be alright.

    Diet wise, more and more vegan as time goes on now. Had a couple of slides into vegetarianism when I started my new job to avoid awkwardness and trying fit in but getting there now.

    Broke my half marathon PB last month that's stood for 9 years so must be doing something right.

    Just to drop weight first then build from there to be honest. The wife is a bit different as she wants to lower her blood sugar levels (It's high end of normal at the moment). For me I just want to get back to a more healthier weight. I may get back into some five a side if my knee allows, if not some cycling would be good again as it's less impact on my iffy knee haha.

    Starting tomorrow so shall see where it all goes.
    I have a plan so cunning......

    I'm vegetarian these days, and have been for about 5-6 months. I was previously for a few years, but started going out with someone who ate meat so, yeah...

    Quite happy with it now. I eat mostly vegan, I'd say about 75% of the time.

    Did a 30 mile hike across the Mendips this past weekend. Legs haven't taken this long to recover since London two years ago. Great experience, but shot myself in the foot a bit as planned on using this week to get some good running time in to have a go at my 5K PB at the weekend. Ah well.

    Eyeing up a bike challenge next month. Distance varies between 50-80 miles, but it's local and gives me a chance to avenge last year.

    The best part of doing it was realising the amount of trials around here that I was never aware of. Will definitely be picking them out for some runs at a later date.

    3 month bump, how's everyone doing with their various goals?

    Hiking the Welsh 3 Peaks in 2 weeks time followed by the Cardiff Half Marathon 2 weeks after that. Then I'm just seeing the year out with one 10K in December, but it's a PB course for me and I'd love to end the year with a 3rd one over 3 different distances.

    Thinking alot about next year already too. Feel mentally ready to tackle a marathon again but have also had the idea of a 30 miler put into my head that isn't going away. Still, main priority first of all will be to hit my 50th parkrun at long last.

    Been sidelined for over 2 months

    Severe lat strain that had me out for about 8 weeks. Got bored and stubborn so started golfing before fully healed then ended up with an intercostal strain

    How's everyone staying active at the moment then?

    One benefit to no work, I'm getting in 6/7.5 mile runs every other day buffered by cycling and walking. But now I've got time to properly work on strengthening, mobility and core work too.

    To stay motivated, I've already completed one virtual challenge and currently in the middle of another. Used to really look down on those, but now they're a massive help in giving me direction.

    I really lucked out in the sense that I had just completed work on my home gym when we got shut down here. It was already my intention to work out from home going forward, as my regular gym had changed ownership and started to deteriorate. Now I can do my usual 5 day routine, albeit with a little less equipment than I was using before.

    I'll probably get back into yoga at some point as well. It's just as good for the mind as it is for the body.

    One if the advantages of heading back to the 'rents during this is they have a garden I can make use of as well. During this nice weather, it's been a godsend

    Finally got around to cleaning the basement out, and moving some weight equipment around down there. It's a tight space, so I kinda have to choose what I want to rotate in and out of use. Took down the heavybag and changed out the deadlift bar for the T-bar machine. Feel like it's a good decision in the long run. It takes up a lot of space...but, between the bench press and the T-bar, I can get a pretty solid workout in. Plus, free weights in the form of 30, 45, and 50lb dumbells...and 25lb kettlebells. Gonna move the heavybag out into the woods somewhere. I know it will be be ruined by the weather...but, it's already pretty haggard. The alternative is trashing it. So, I figure I'll hang it from a tree and use it until it becomes completely useless.

    I'm right there with you, Stoj. Stepped on the scales last week and I've put on over half a stone since the last time I weighed myself (probably mid February). Could easily go for a walk, or a run, or do some basic stuff in the house ... but I'm just too lazy to bother. Even if the gyms were to open up again any time soon, I'm not sure I'd be all that comfortable going into one right now.

    hey guys , i love walking mostly but am also doing weights and exercise i really want to go the gym but at the moment i cant due to lockdown i really love using the rowing machine at the gym Scotland gym open in september i cant wait i want to get fit using weights etc and walking i cant run at the moment because am not fit enough but am building speed on the treadmill am at speed 4 at the moment with 3.0 incline

    When I'm feeling motivated and disciplined this is my routine:

    Monday: 10 minutes intermediate speed treadmill run (typically start at 7.5 or higher, go up at least .1 speed next week), 10 minute mile, 10 minutes walk, all of course treadmill
    Tuesday: Back & shoulders lift
    Wednesday: 2-4 mile run outside, or if on treadmill, run at 8:00 or 8:30 pace until I'm tired, with goal being 3 miles
    Thursday: Biceps, triceps, chest lift
    Friday: Back & shoulders lift; Incline Sprints. Set treadmill to 10 speed, incline as high as I can tolerate (use to be 10, now it's closer to 7), sprint 20 rest 40, do at least 10 reps, until exhausted. Walk for 10-20 minutes afterwards for cool down.
    Saturday: Long Run day. Goal is to do 6-7 miles minimum, but definitely days where my body ain't about that life
    Sunday: Biceps, triceps, chest lift

    I was doing great with this in April-May, but was having a lot of issues with running. Got a fucked back from 2 accidents so as a result, I get a lot of issues with my leg muscles and arches getting tight and causing pain, which is super frustrating since running is my favorite stress reliever. Was able to do Insanity in June-July without any real issue because apparently my body can do HIIT fine, just not running. Have fallen off the wagon a bit since then, but trying to get back into my regular above routine again.
