In all honesty, I don't even consider that Rotundo/Garvin choice an actual match. It was way more about the Kevin Sullivan and Precious angle than about any actual wrestling, not to mention the Olympic Rules thing just didn't serve any purpose at all.

Glad to see matches like the Murdoch 6-man and Fujinami vs VAder get some love. Didn't vote for them, but they are very good.

Rotundo vs Steiner might be a strong contender for most boring match of 1988.

Sadly he didn't choose any match from outside North America.

re: The Greatest Match Of The Year - 1988 - The Countdown - We Have A Winner

I find it funny my list is being made fun of, but with some of the matches outside of the U.S one or two people would agree which leaves three people or four people who didn't care or watch the match, so? I find it funny that some person think they know Wrestling outside of the United States from seeing a few matches or seeing a few matches on youtube or matches stored on their computer or laptop.I made it known I didn't watch Wrestling outside of the U.S even know I watched the matches King linked, I felt strong about my list.I bet you guys felt strong about your lists, and I haven't made fun of anyone about theirs. With that, I love the concept of this Crocker and I when we get to 1990, I know my list will be more board.

There's a good amount of WC users that have seen a lot of Puro. Steve and Flock are probably two of the most knowledgeable Puro posters we have. I continue to watch more and more each month. So I don't get where you're saying these posters only watch a couple of matches on Youtube and pretend they're super knowledgeable.

Hoho, didn't you PM Crocker your list almost immediately? Seems like this was your chance to get a little more familiar with stuff outside of the US. And to be honest, people aren't making fun of you because you're not choosing Puro matches, but rather because you've picked some rather odd choices. I mean, Islanders vs Young Stallions? Wut? Are you telling me there wasn't a single Puro match from 1988 that was better than that?

re: The Greatest Match Of The Year - 1988 - The Countdown - We Have A Winner

You don't have to be an expert in Puro to watch Match A from an American Promotion and Match B from a Japanese Promotion and say that Match B is the better match. The quality will speak for itself.

Besides, this could of been a neat opportunity for you to expand your wrestling knowledge and watch some classic Puro. I know the main draw of Crocker's lists to me has always been to check out some stuff I would never normally watch, if I was taking part which I may do for 1989, I know I'm going to at least attempt to watch the great matches Japan has to offer.

that's exact reason I refrained from this one is because I didn't have the time to watch the matches people were posting and I didn't want my list to be so limited

Crying when people say they don't like the same matches as you is what makes you lame more than anything else
