If I had to hazard a guess I'd say IV and IX are the two that aren't represented here.

I could see something like Tatanka/Michaels or DiBiase/Savage making it onto other people's list even though I think both matches are pretty average.

WM XI is another one it could be although some people really enjoy Diesel/Michaels.

Re: The Greatest Wrestlemania Ever - The Countdown

Already some good matches on here. Orton/Punk and Rey/Cody both would have probably made my top 30 WM matches ever. I was desperate to put Rey/Cody on my list somewhere and I feel it was the MOTN at Wrestlemania 27.

Hogan/Vince, MVP/Benoit, Kane/Undertaker aren't the best matches but I appreciate the effort in each of them. Vince/Hogan is my favourite Vince street fight.

Why did you even include RasslinFanatic's choices?

Good to know someone else voted for Christian/Jericho then as it's not on here yet.

I thought Orton/Punk and Rey/Cody's Extreme Rules matches were both better but I've got no problem with either of the 'Mania ones making the list.

Nice to see the first of my more nostalgic matches didn't hit the lowest ranking.

Re: The Greatest Wrestlemania Ever - The Countdown

Quality matches showing up already. MVP/Benoit was a great 10 minute match with Benoit doing a great job selling the arm. Also made MVP look like a star even in a loss. Very good overlooked match I'm glad it made a list.

Punk/Orton is another good one with a simple yet great story of Punk targeting Orton's leg for the weeks leading into Wrestlemania. Orton does a great job selling it in the match and Punk does a solid job as usual.

Hogan/McMahon is a fun brawl that is exactly what it should have been. Very fun match with many memorable moments at a great Wrestlemania.

Re: The Greatest Wrestlemania Ever - The Countdown

MVP/Benoit was a good match but it just seemed to end so prematurely/out of nowhere. Like Benoit hardly ever ended a match with a diving headbeat. So I guess it was a shock to me when it actually ended like that.

I considered Tatanka/Michaels for my list but decided against it cause I figured it would probably make some people whine and Bitch lol

Re: The Greatest Wrestlemania Ever - The Countdown

I haven't shown up yet, decent chance there's at least one other member who agrees with each of my picks then.

I think Rey/Cody and Punk/Orton were both good undercard matches but they JUST fall short of making this top 25. Fuji's right, they had better a month later. Taker/Kane @14 is about as good as they've ever had together, and at it's time, was one of the best Taker matches he had at mania. Doesn't really hold up a decade later though with the great mania matches he's had since.

Cannot for the life of me remember Benoit/MVP, will have to rewatch later today.

Benoit/MVP is really good seeing as it was just a match to get MVP over.

Re: The Greatest Wrestlemania Ever - The Countdown

Huh. Kinda surprised I'm the only one to go with Rey/Eddie at Mania 21. Thought it was a pretty damn good match tbh. Each to their own though I guess

Still some pretty solid choices thus far. Honestly forgot MVP/Benoit which is a shame since as a MVP fan I remember feeling that that was his best ever match. Was pretty damn solid. Good to see Rey/Cody get love too. Felt it was better than HHH/Taker at Mania 27. Also great to see The HHH/Orton/Cena, Shane/Vince & Taker/Kane get love too. The latter two were also considerations for my list

The fact nobody else picked the Jack and Charlie vs NAO tag has made me sick to my stomach.

Re: The Greatest Wrestlemania Ever - The Countdown

On the pne hand I agree, Benoit vs MVP finishes a little abruptly because they weren't given an awful lot of time. On the other I think it is cool than Benoit actually finished a match with the Headbutt for once, and MVP still came out looking strong.

    25 people voted, great turn-out!

Good to see the bottom end is mostly filled with matches that were good-but-not-high-end, or just dreck that I feared would be higher.
