    Favorite Wrestling Sets/Stages

    Simple enough.

I only really made this to pimp out how amazing the WM24 set was. So fantastic.

    Spoiler:

A lot of set ups are great, but to me that is the perfect big show set up and represents Wrestlemania, which in turn represents the best of pro wrestling.

    Spoiler:

Don't worry Steve, found yours for you.

I know I know, could still be too polished. I kid.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good

I was gonna say 24 as I'm currently watching Flair/Michaels from that show and am still amazed at the set. I loved the pyramid set of 26 just cause how epic it looked during Taker's intro.

Wrestlemania 24 is incredible. One of the most memorable images from Wrestlemania history is Ric Flair's entrance, with his amazing blue robe with fireworks going off in the background. Definitely my favourite.

In terms of simple sets, I like Wrestlemania XX. Very simple with the buildings in the background, but the stage that lit up under the wrestlers' feet was also really cool.

I can't really find a picture of it anywhere, I was always a huge fan of the Backlash stages from the early 2000's. The ones with the swinging blades that went across the stage. Badass.

Also liked the concept of the Bash at the Beach PPVs where the stage was literally a beach. Pretty unique setup.

Taker's 23 entrance was pretty epic with the light behind him making it look like a really long tunnel. I thought 20 was great as well for not being in a huge stadium especially when Kane came out and it looked like the city was on fire, great visual.

WrestleMania 27 had a good set up, it looked like that it was all made out of glass, even the ramp was glass I think.

Other than what Tcon said (the ecw brick one) I would go with the Hell in a cell ppv's with the cell surounding the stage.

I really liked the stage for I think it was a WCW saturday show, it had I think metal doors that would open up to let the wrestlers get to the ring.

WM24's is probably the best. Later I'll find a pic of Edge's entrance with the pyro coz hat just looked AMAZING. Also I really liked the giant Wrestlemania sign from last year, it was simple but looked really good. I wonder what they will do this year. Especially with a HIAC to hang up also.
Shit.....You shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize.

I always loved the old Backlash sets with those Pit and the Pendulum-like moving parts of the set. As utterly ridiculous of an idea this is, I kept hoping that the moving parts was going to eventually hit someone.

Im not that big into huge extravagant stages or even pyro for that matter. I find its like adding ketchup to mask up a taste you don't like. Therefore i like ECWs old one and ROH one which is basically a black tarp. lol. I like simple things like that.

Yeah, that's the one I was referring to. So cool. Where'd you find that pic? Or did you just screen cap it from a file?

WM 24 always been my favorite, but want to add an honorable mention for the Smackdown fist:

Simple, thuggish and corny. In a word, wrestling.
