Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

Big roster around that time, hope you do something with the roster. But I remember these were the days when the WWE was very high on the Brand Extension, so I think both brands have their own designated pay per views and championships.

You also should provide some sort of back story as well as maybe what time you are starting. Judging by the roster I say this is starting after SummerSlam 2005 coming into the fall of 2005 and the early 2006 stage, so I liked that time hope you do something good.

Good Luck with this, will be reading.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

    WWE Raw
    October 10, 2005
    Corpus Christi, TX
Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Jonathan Coachman

The Power is Back opening vignette plays as well as a montage of WWE Homecoming plays highlighting Triple H’s assault on Ric Flair, Edge banishing Matt Hardy from Raw, Eric Bischoff shutting lights on Smackdown and Stone Cold handing out stunners to all the McMahons.

Before any introduction from the announcing team, ‘I’m All Grown Up’ hits as Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring to a loud mixed reaction as she is not in a happy mood. The Billion Dollar Princess grabs a mic and says that WWE Homecoming was supposed to be a wonderful and glorious event, but isntwad it turned out to be the most tragic thing ever. She says the one time where her family was all the same page, Stone Cold ruined it by stunning her family. She says that her father will be coming her tonight and handing out repercussions to all those held accountable for Stone Cold’s actions. She says there will be hell to pay and that everyone in the WWE is on notice, and they better not cross the boss or the bitch. She leaves the ring as J.R. and Lawler mull over the words of Stephanie.

They shift gears and hype up the main event tonight---WWE Champion John Cena going one on one with former rival Carlito.

    Commercial Break

‘Never Though My Life Could Be This Good’ hits as Kerwin White comes to the ring in his golf cart with his caddy Nick Nemeth as he gets some good heat. Kerwin grabs a mic and says he sees an awful a lot of “Mexicanos” here and hopes they all have their green card. He gets tremendous amount of heat as he says that all these illegal remind him of a certain guy named “Chavo”, but that’s all in the past. Suddenly, ‘Ain’t No Stopping Me’ hits as Shelton Benjamin comes out to a loud pop as he looks determined and focused.

    Singles Match:
Kerwin White w/ Nick Nemeth vs. Shelton Benjamin

These two like their Unforgiven match had a very back and forth encounter. Shelton was a house of fire early on and really took it to Kerwin early on with great mat work. Shelton went for an early stinger splash but Kerwin’s caddy Nick Nemeth grabbed Benjamin’s foot leading to an early advantage. Kerwin took control for the next few mintues, and got a two near falls off a vertical suplex and sitout suplex. White went for a Frog Splash but Benjamin moved and started landed some shots. Benjamin hit his Dragon Whip Kick and measured for the T-Bone Suplex. Benjamin had Kerwinin position but Nemeth slid in the ring and blasted Benjamin with a golf club to the back of the head.

Winner by disqualification: Shelton Benjamin (6:33)

After the match, White and his caddy lay some shot on Benjamin, as JR cries foul. Kerwin grabs his polo sweater off the turnbuckle and begins to choke Benjamin with it as the crowd continues to boo them mercilessly. White and Nemeth stand over Benjamin laughing at their actions.

We cut back to ringside, and all three announcers talk about Triple H’s assault on Ric Flair at last week’s Homecoming, and proceed to show the video of the assault as it leads us into commercial break.

    Commercial Break

We return and ‘Metallingus’ hits as Mr. Money In the Bank Edge and his girlfriend Lita hits the ring to a deafening amount of boos as Edge is all smiles. Edge grabs a mic, and says that Matt Hardy’s 15 minutes of fame came to a crashing halt last week . He says that we will not see Matt Hardy ever again on HIS show, the flagship Monday Night Raw. Fans continue boo as Edge cockily says that Hardy will probably be on that show they show on Friday Night with all the B-list talent. He says Smackdown and Matt Hardy are good fits for each other, overrated, boring and NO one cares about them. Edge and Lita continue laughing until ‘MacMilitant’ hits as fans and announcers are shocked at Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long’s appearance on Raw. Long struts down to the ring as Edge looks pissed at being interrupted. Edge asks Teddy what the hell he is doing on the A show, and that maybe he should be tending to those midgets he has over there. Edge says or he could tend to the Boogeyman, and the guy who repeats his name over and over and the C-divas that are all wannabe Litas. Edge said or is Teddy too busy being Palmer Cannon's bitch, that comment draws major heat from the crows. Teddy cuts Edge off and tells him to shut it up. Long says last week Eric Bischoff humiliated him by blacking out his match at Homecoming. Teddy says he also doesn’t appreciate Edge bashing his show when Smackdown is the land of opportunity. Long says he'd rather have Matt Hardy on Smackdown than Edge, and he even says with Edge can’t compete with Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton, Chris Benoit or JBL! Edge looks irate, and then Long says what separates them from Edge is they’ve won the big one. Fan are cheering as Long is putting Edge in his place, Long goes to say more but he gets dropped with a hard spear from Edge. Edge has a deranged look in his face and picks up the defenseless General Manager and Lita promptly kicks him in the groin. Edge soaks in the enormous boos from the crowd, grabs the mic and says he’ll be stopping by Friday Night and checking out the competition. Edge and Lita share a very sensual kiss over the fallen General Manager as Coach applauds Edge’s actions.

Cameras cut backstage and Eric Bischoff is pacing back and forth. Kurt Angle, Carlito and Davari walk in with smirk on their faces. Angle says he’s glad Stephanie made this match because Carlito is going to soften up Cena tonight for him, so that at Angle can take the WWE title. Bischoff tells Angle he has bigger things to worry about, such as Mr. McMahon’s announcement tonight. Bischoff says he’ll cut Angle a deal, if Carlito can beat Cena by any method then Angle will get a title match next week on RAW. Angle, Carlito and Davari leave satisfied.

    Commercial Break

    ‘Southern Pride’
hits as the World Tag Team Champions Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade hit the ring and get some decent heat. ‘Big’ hits as The Big Show comes out to a good pop.

    Singles Match:
The Big Show vs. World Tag Champion Trevor Murdoch w/World Tag Champion Lance Cade

The match started off with Murdoch trying to trade fists with Show but Show was able to power him into the corner and gave him some loud and vicious chops in the corner. Show simply overpowered the tough cowboy with some military press slams and sidewalk slams. Show though was constantly annoyed by Lance Cade’s distraction and Murdoch was able to chop block Show. Murdoch got some offense on and managed to get Show on the mat with a huge kick to the face for two. Murdoch set up for his top rope bulldog but Show caught him in mid-air and nailed him with a hard chokeslam for the three.

    Winner: The Big Show (5:56)

Following the match, Show celebrates and plays to the crowd until Cade tries to ambush him from behind. Cade charges at him for a lariat but Show grabs him and promptly chokeslams him on top on his tag team partner. JR hypes that Show is standing tall over the tag team champions.

Cameras cut backstage to Triple H walking down the corridor in a suit, as he will be addressing his actions last week on his mentor and friend Ric Flair. Triple H though runs into Women’s Champion Trish Stratus who just glares at him and gives a hard slap in the face. Triple H smiles and says he took out the Intercontinental Champion last week and he’s not above taking out the Women’s Champion. JR calls him disgusting as we go to commercial break

    Commercial Break

A return promo for Kane airs, he returns next week!

‘Time to Play the Game’ hits as the crowd erupts in jeers and boos as the The Game walk to the ring and has a very sinister look on his face. Triple H asks the crowd if they though what he did to Ric Flair was wrong, which draws a loud yes. He then asks if, they think Ric Flair still has it, and they say yes. Triple H said everyone’s opinion on Ric Flair are irrelevant, and only his opinions matter. He said it was no one’s damn business why he attacked Ric Flair. He said that the people cared about Ric Flair. He said he worshiped the ground he walked on. He said no one was a bigger mark for Flair than him. He said Ric Flair to him was the greatest wrestler in history. He said that’s why he was so excited to see him come to the WWE four years ago until he saw him. He said he was a shell of a man but that he let Flair sit at his right hand, bask in his light, and brought him back to life. He said Ric Flair appeared to be back again. He said than a month ago on his time off, he watched on TV as he let people spit in his face. He said that he knew he had been showing a blind eye to what was happening. He said two weeks later he climbed to the top rope and flew through the top rope. He said he watched him nail Carlito and watched Flair and the fans cheer. He said Flair cheered because he finally did one thing right. He said that same night, Flair stood in the ring and held the IC belt and everyone went crazy. He said Flair wallowed in his newfound mediocrity. Triple H said he cried to see what Flair had become. He likens Flair to Old Yeller and had to pull the trigger. He said it was over. No more limousine riding, jet flying, no more Nature Boy. He said he was going to be damned to see someone tarnish his memories of Ric Flair. Triple H says if anyone is going to end the memories of HIS Ric Flair, it’ll be him and no one can do a damn thing about. Triple H drops the mic and mocks the Ric Flair struts to a defeaning chrous of boos as the RAW commentary team is in stunned silence.

JR stumbles through his noticeable anger at Triple H and hypes up Women’s Championship on the line, Trish Stratus facing Victoria.

    Commercial Break

‘Don't Mess With’ hits a Victoria comes out accompanied by Candice Michelle and TorrieWilson who has Chloe in hand. Coach calls them Vince’s Devils and that they are the three hottest ladies in the WWE today. ‘Time to Rock and Roll’ hits as Women’s Champion Trish Stratus comes out to a loud pop with her portege Ashley.

    Women’s Championship:
Victoria w/ Candice and Torrie vs. Women's Champion Trish Stratus w/ Ashley

These two put on a pretty good match per usual as the match started with plenty of counters as they both know each other well in the ring. Victorie grabbed a slight advantage and was able to pound the champion into the mat and work her over for a few minutes. Trish fought back with the Whirlybird and gained some momentum. Candice and Torrie attempted to get involved but Ashley took them both out with a double clothesline. Victoria countered Trish’s Stratusfaction and went for Widow’s Peak but Trish slid out and nailed her with a sudden Chick Kick for the pinfall.

Winner and STILL Women's Champion: Trish Stratus (6:03)

After the match, Trish grabbed her belt and celebrated but the celebration as short lived as she gets absolutely ambushed by Wilson and Michelle. Ashley enters the ring and the two blondes fight off Vince’s Devils with a pair of dropkicks that get them to retreat up the aisle. Trish and Ashley hug it out and celebrate another successful title defense.

Backstage, Todd Grisham introduces his guest Shawn Michaels. As soon as Michaels pops into the screen the fans go crazy and cheer as Michaels soaks it up. Grisham mentions that Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle tied in the Ironmatch last week and that when Michaels suggested they do sudden death Angle declined. Michael says that Kurt Angle is an amazing competitor, but he’s not the Showstopper or the headliner. He says he will not rest until he find out who’s better him or Angle, and he’s posing the challenge for next week—Michaels vs. Angle. Michaels smiles and says he will not take no for an answer.

    Commercial Break

A huge black limousine rolls into the arena and out comes and Mr. McMahon and he gets off his limo and look none too happy as JR hypes that he has something important announce tonight.

‘Masterpiece’ hits as the elaborate entrance of the Masterpiece Chris Masters hits as Coach hypes him up as RAW’s biggest secret. ‘Child’s Play’ hits as Eugene comes to the ring and exchanges some high fives with the fans in his usual gullible nature.

    Single Match:
    Chris Masters vs. Eugene

When the bell rang, Masters looks at Eugene and asked the ref “is this for real” but Eugene fired some shot early on Masters. Eugene had Masters reeling for a moment as he did his best Junkyard Dog headbutts and even hulked up. Though it came to a screech halt as Masters beheaded Eugene with a vicious clothesline and proceed to abuse him with slam after slam. Master then hit the Polish Hammer and followed it up with the Masterlock, and slung Eugene like a rag doll until the ref called for the bell.

    Winner: Chris Masters (4:53)

Masters doesn’t relinquish the hold after and keep it on as officials beg him to stop. Masters’ grabs a mic and says there is no one in WWE that is crazy, daring or stupid enough to take on his Masterlock. Suddenly, the familiar car crash sound hits and the recognizable theme of Mick Foley hits as the arena goes in frenzy as Master looks in shock. Foley stays at the apron and says he’s glad to be here in Corpus Christi, and says there is no WWE superstar who is more crazy, foolish and daring than Mick Foley! He says he’s been thrown of cells, had ears ripped off and broken many bones. He says he will gladly accept Masters Masterlock Challenge next week as the fans cheer as Foley wishes Masters a nice day and leaves with the crowd chanting Foley much to Master’s anger.

Cameras cut backstage as John Cena is preparing for his match with Carlito, but he stops and his face turns into a scowl. Triple H enters the shot and pats Cena on the back and wishes him good luck and congratulates him on keeping "his" title warm. Cena says he doesn’t want Triple H’s anything, but he wouldn’t mind kicking his ass for Ric Flair. Triple H takes off his glasses and says the only reason he would acknowldge an amateur like Cena is the fact that he has something that belongs to him. Cena takes the title off his shoulder and raises it in HHH's face and says anytime and any place. Cena and Triple H staredown as we head to commercial.

    Commercial Break

‘Cool’ hits as Carlito comes to some good heat as he is accompanied by Davari and Kurt Angle. JR explains that if Carlito wins by any method Kurt Angle will get a WWE Championship match next week on RAW. Coach calls it a genius plan. ‘Time is Now’ hits as WWE Champion John Cena marches out to a loud ovation as Kurt Angle has joined commentary.

    Non-Title:
If Carlito win by any method, Kurt Angle receives a WWE Championship match next week
    John Cena vs. Carlito

This match started of Cena using his strength early on to take control of the match. Carlito though kept sliding in and out of the ring at various points and tried to bait Cena into a countout, and Davari would continuously get on Cena’s nerves. Cena chased Carlito on the outside, and even an over Davari but Carlito nailed Cena with a hard baseball slide sending him crashing into the barricade.

    Commercial Break

Carlito has Cena grounded in a sleeperhold as the crowd tries to will the camp back into the match. Cena elbows out of it and starts firing shot off and gaining momentum. Cena hits Carlito with the Throwback and motions for Five-Knuckle Shuffle but Davari trips Cena up. Carlito throws Cena out of the ring and tries to keep the ref distracted while Davari kicks Cena. Cena gets up and floors Davari with right hand but Angle emerges from the announce table gives him an Angle Slam on the outside! Cena somehow gets into the ring at 9 and Carlito continues to take control. Carlito sets up for the Cool Shot but Cena reverses and nails a spin-out powerbomb. Cena hits Five Knuckle Shuffle and nails the F-U. Cena covers but Angle grabs the refs leg and throws him outside the ring and Davari grabs a steel chair. Davari swings at Cena but Cena ducks and nails him with an F-U. Angle comes back into the ring and tries Angle Slam Cena but Shawn Michaels marches down the ring and lands shot on the Olympic Gold Medalist and clotheslines him over the top. The ref awakens and Cena is distracted by Michaels and Angle brawling to notice Carlito who rolls him and grabs tights and gets the surprise three count!

    Winner: Carlito (11:03)

After the match, Carlito quickly leaves the ring and celebrates his victory at the top of the ramp as Angle escapes Michaels and goes up the ramp. Cena looks frustrated as Angle taunts him and shouts he’ll be the champion next week.

Suddenly, ‘No Chance’ blares over the PA system and Vince McMahon power struts past Angle and Carlito at the top of the ramp and strolls to the ring where Cena and Michaels are. Vince grabs a mic and says that last week his creation WWE Homecoming turned out to the worst night of his life. Stone Cold stunners his family for no damn reason at all. Vince then points at Cena and Michaels and says they didn’t do damn thing about it and then points at Carlito and Angle and says neither did they. He says there were about 60 superstars from both brands and neither of them lifted a damn finger and stopped the travesty. Fans begin chanting Stone Cold as Vince is getting more and more frustatred, and eventually yells at them to shut up. Vince says he blames collectively both RAW and Smackdown from John Cena and Batista down to Jim Ross and Michael Cole. He says he especially holds the two General Managers responsible and he’s got a solution that will make his whole family happy. He announces at Survivor Series it will be a Brand Warfare 5 on 5 elimination match to determine not only brand superiority but for survival in the WWE. McMahon explains that because the losing brands General Manager will be fired on the spot should their brand lose in the 5 on 5 match! Fans erupt in cheers as McMahon drops the mic but then get layed out with Sweet Chin Music from Shawn Michaels! Michaels and Cena celebrate over the laid out chairman as J.R. signs us off for RAW.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

    Raw - October 10, 2005 review

Nice show trezd, loving the 2005 year, especially in the fall when things started going up I think.

I love the opening promo with Steph saying that Austin stunnered her entire family, builds up heat towards her as well as dan appreciation for Austin.

Kerwin White and Dolph Ziggler (oh Nick Nemeth sorry lol) attacking Benjamin afetr Chavo loses the match was the typical heel attack back then, builds White a major threat in the Intercontinental Championship title race, nice attack.

Edge and Lita trashing Matt Hardy as well as SmackDown in General was great, both shows were at their prime back then and it builds alot of heat in this Brand Supremacy storyline. I did not expect Long on Raw it was quite rare back then as well to see the opposing brands superstars on the other show, Edge and Lita trashing SmackDown's superstars, the Juniors division as well as Palmer Cannon and the Divas on SmackDown was great, Edge saying that all SmackDown C-divas are a carbon copy of Lita was great too
Also Edge and Lita attacking Long after was good, and it builds more hype torwards this Friday Night SmackDown!

Big Show standing tall over Cade and Murdoch was nice, Builds show as a guy who can outlast any type of numbers situation.

Masters getting a nice win, hopefully you push him.

Trish still retaining was good builds more heat torwards the Ladies in Pink and also hope you bring in Mickie James this storyline was actually good between Trish, Ashley and Mickie against Candice, Torrie and Victoria, kind of two diva groups going at it back then I enjoyed it back then.

Triple H finally revealing his true Cerebral Assassin self was good, him dissing Flair builds a potential match up as well.
Nice segment in deed. I enjoyed their fued as well.

Carlito winning was nice, builds more story torwards the WWE Championship race as well. Michaels, Angle, Carlito and Cena are all that could get the belt, lol Cena is champion so I can see a four way happening at Taboo Tuesday.

Vinnie Mac announcing a 5 on 5 Brand Warfare match was excellent, however it seems too early because Taboo Tuesday is the next event so I don't know. However the stipulation with the losing GM being fired is also intriguing.

Overall nice debut episode, and I kind of like it when somone does a BTB from the past but with their own little twist on it and the storylines that youa re doing are a mix of both what happened in real life as well as adapting your own adaption to it. Very nice.

I say if I had to stop my current BTB, I would do one from the past around the same era. I loved this time in the fall of 2005. Good job.

BTW are you doing Brand Exclusive pay per views?

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

Thanks for the reply BackBone, I'm planning to keep Taboo Tuesday, Armageddon and New Year's Revolution and No Way Out as brand exclusive and after Wrestlemania is still up in the air. Funny how I was still in process of catching up on your WWE 2012 as you replied!

    RAW Review

-Pretty good first show well done!

-Good opening segment with Stephanie McMahon

-Good match between White and Benjamin....Good attack from White an Nemeth.

-Really liked the segment when Edge came out and started talking trash about Hardy. Good for Edge and Lita to build momentum going into SMACKDOWN by standing over Long at the end.

-No surprise that The Big Show won. Gives him good momentum by beating the tag champions.

-Very interesting fued with Triple H and Ric Flair. Good way to build up the heel character of Triple H. Looks like you have a good ida of were this feud will be heading over the next coming shows.'

    - Carlito winning was good for Angle.....Good way to end the show with Vince eating a Sweet Chin Music. Builds up for Michaels and Cena.......

-Overall a good show really good work and well written....

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

    WWE Smackdown
    October 14, 2005

    San Antonio, Texas
    HSBC Center
    Announcers: Michael Cole & Tazz

The ‘Power is back’ vignette plays as we get recap of No Mercy on Sunday which saw Batista retain his World Heavyweight Title, Chris Benoit retain the United States title and Randy Orton putting Undertaker in a casket.

'Rise Up' by Drowning Pool plays as the Smackdown opening montage plays, as Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to Smackdown and hype that we may have a special guest appearance from Edge.

‘Burn in My Light’ blasts over the PA system as the ‘Legend Killer’ Randy Orton strolls to the ring with his father Cowboy Bob Orton to some massive heat. Orton grabs a mic and says that the era of the Deadman is officially over and the Legend Killer can check yet another name off the list. He said that he ended months and months of mind games and torture and a dynasty is now over. Orton says he’s done more at just 25, than some worthless has-been do in a career. Orton says he’s back on track to take back what’s his---the World Heavyweight Championship. As soon he utters those words, ‘Gangsta Lean’ hits as Eddie Guerrero comes to the ring to a loud mixed reaction. `Guerrero looks and Orton and tells to him to wait in line, because he’s out to challenge his best friend Batista to another title match. Fans cheer loudly for that but Orton cuts them off and says Eddie lost at No Mercy unlike him so that title match is his! They being to argue and make fun of each other until Palmer Cannon steps out of the curtain with mic in hand and stays at the ramp. He says due to Teddy Long’s injuries sustained at the hands of Edge he will be control tonight. He makes the main event, Eddie Guerrero going one on one with Randy Orton---tonight and the winner will get a title shot at Batista in two weeks. Cannon leaves as Guerrero taunts Orton before leaving as the the elder Orton is pep-talking his son.

    Commercial Break

Cameras cut back to the locker room of John Bradshaw Layfield, and inside it’s JBL , Orlando Jordan and Jillian Hall. JBL talks about how he beat Rey Mysterio at No Mercy and feels like a new man, and owes it all to Jillian. JBL says he feels the re-emergence of the Cabinet! He then says he's going to beat Rey Mysterio again and prove he's still a wrestling god! She says she can work wonders, and says now she can rejuvenate Orlando Jordan back to winning form. JBL, Jillian and Orlando then start to huddle up and discuss strategy.

‘Whatever’ hits as the United States Champion Chris Benoit comes to the ring to a loud pop as he flashes that toothless grin. ‘Regality’ hits as William Regal comes to the ring with Paul Burchill as they get some decent heat.

    Non-Title:
United States Champion Chris Benoit vs. William Regal w/Paul Burchill

As expected these two put on a wrestling clinic, a bevy of different suplx variations, submission hold and loaded strikes. Benoit had control early but Burchill was enough of a distraction for Regal to pick up steam with an exploder suplex. Regal looked strong for a few minutes but Benoit was able to his three Germans followed by his diving headbutt. Regal tried to fight the Crossface but eventually Benoit locked it on and the Brit has no choice but to tap.

Winner: United States Champion Chris Benoit (6:45)

Following the match, Chris Benoit gets on the turnbuckle and starts posing to the crowd but he ambushed by Orlando Jordan. Jordan starts laying shots on the Crippler and looks for a left hook but Benoit ducks and locks in another crossface and Jordan taps frantically. The US champions stands tall and looks to take on all and new comers,

    Commercial Break

Backstage, Palmer Cannon is in his office, until the World Heavyweight Champion Batista comes in. Batista says if he even detects Edge’s presence here, he’s going to hurt him for what he did to Teddy. Cannon smiles and says Batista might want to worry about the main event and not Edge. Cannon says he’s got something special for Edge tonight.

‘Paparazzi’ hits as MNM come out escorted by Melina on the red carpet as Cole mention how MNM came up short against LOD and Christy Hemme. ‘Hey You’ hits as the dynamic team of Brian Kendrick and Paul London run down the ring as they get a good pop from this crowd.

    Tag Team Match:
MNM w/ Melina vs. The Hooliganz

The match started off with Nitro and Kendrick, and Kendrick used his speed and quick moves to gain an advantage and the frequent tags of the Hooliganz kept Nitro off guard. Though, Nitro kicked London in the head on a top rope attempted and MNM isolated London for nearly the whole match. London was able to reverse a back body drop attept into a desperation dropsault. London was able to make the hot tag and hit a load of aerial moves on the A-listers. Nitro tried to intervene but London took him out with a crossbody. Kendrick went for Sliced Bread Number # 2 but Melina got on the apron and grabbed Kendrick’s heel as he came off the turnbuckle causing him to land awkwardly. Nitro and Mercury stalked the Kendrick and nailed with the Snapshot for the win.

    Winner: MNM (7:02)

After the match, MNM poses and signal that they are coming back to get their title from Legion of Doom. Cole and Tazz put over the impressive effort of the Hooliganz that they are going to big player in the tag team division.
Cole and Tazz hype up an edition Christian Peep Show—next!

    Commercial Break

Back from commercial break, Christian is already in the ring with his Peep Show set up and he grabs a mic. Christian says he came up a little short at No Mercy but he will beat Toothless Wonder and win the United States Championship. He says tonight’s special guest like him is relatively new to Smackdown---Stacy Kiebler. ‘Legs’ hits as Stacy Kiebler struts to the ring and high fives the fans than does her classic slow through the ropes entrance to the delight of the male population in the HSBC Arena. Christian says that Stacy is no doubt one of the hottest women he’s ever seen, to which Stacy thanks him for. Christian also says she’ just a waste of space, and hogs airtime for legitimate wrestlers like him. Stacy starts cowering as Christian says that no one wants to legs when they can see “Peepzilla” every Friday Night. He says yet, for some odd reason they feel Stacy Keibler pillow fights are more important than Christian and his peepulation. Christian asks Stacy if he think he deserves to be given to short-end of the stick, again. Stacy refuses to answer and Christian starts approaching her until ‘Live For the Moment’ hits and the crowd goes nuts as Matt Hardy comes to the ring and looks happy to be on Smackdown. Hardy grabs a mic and tells Christian to relax. Hardy says Christian can’t blame Teddy Long or Palmer Cannon for wanting to advertise the hottest WWE divas. Hardy says he can’t also blame Long or Cannon for not putting Christian in the marquee, because he sucks. Christian starts flipping out and says that Matt Hardy is the one who lost his girl, job and will now have to be Smackdown’s punching bag. Christian says it's unfortunate that Hardy's motto "I Will Not Die" is pathetic and his career is lowing dying by the week. Christian says a certain brother of his should have a motto called "Just Say No". Hardy instantly drops his mic and tells Christian to hit him. Christian cocks back for a punch but stops and goes to leave and then pushes Matt Hardy from behind into Stacy Kiebler and then quickly exits the ring. Hardy gets up checks on Kiebler, and then yells at Christian for being a coward as they exchanges glares from the ramp to the ring.

In the corridor, a white limo pulls up but no one gets out as Cole and Tazz wonders who it is.

    Commercial Break

Backstage, World Tag Team Champions Legion of Doom 2005 are walking and talking until they gets ambushed by the Mexicools, and it’s a 3 on 2 brawl backstage as rod agents and security has to attend to them. The Mexicools start shouting in incoherent Spanish at the champions.

‘Longhorn’ hits as John Bradshaw Layfield comes out accompanied by his publicist Jillian Hall as Tazz outs over his victory over Rey Mysterio. A new entrance theme hits ‘Booyaka’ by P.O.D. as Rey Mysterio comes to a loud ovation here in San Antonio as he looks to get some retribution for his loss at No Mercy.

    Singles Match:
Rey Mysterio vs. John Bradshaw Layfield w/Jillian Hall

The match started off with Mysterio’s speed against Bradshaw’s powers. Mysterio started off hot and kept JBL off his game and made him look foolish at time until Bradshaw went outside to regroup and stop Mysterio’s momentum. Though, Mysterio went to the outside and hit an Asai Moonsault on top of millionaire as we head to commercial break.

    Commercial Break

We return to Smackdown, and JBL is in clear control as he hits a hard slam on Mysterio. During the commercial break Hall provided a distraction as Mysterio was returning to ring and Bradshaw clobbered him with a boot to the skull. Bradshaw continued to inflict punishment on the masked superstar and almost got a victory with the Last Call. Bradshaw looked for a powerbomb but it got reversed into a facebuster as both men were down on the mat. They got up at the ref count of 8 and started trading shot, Bradshaw took an advantage and whipped Mysterio off the ropes, who slid under Bradshaw an kicked him into the middle rope. Mysterio signaled for 619 but suddenly Metalingus hits as Mysterio turns his attention toward the ramp as he awaits Edge. Edge however, sneaks through the crowd and spears the hell out of Mysterio.

    Winner: No Contest (10:07)

Edge taunts over the fallen Mysterio as JBL awakes form his groggy state and notices Edge. Edge taunts JBL and baits him into chasing him through the crowd. Mysterio is still down in the ring and then also coming from the crowd is Tomko and Snitsky from Raw and they begin to pick Mysterio apart, but calvary comes down. Though Tomko and Snitsky ward off the cruiserweights and Hardcore Holly who come down to try to save Rey. They start to flee when they see Booker T, Chris Benoit and World Heavyweight Champion Batista as Tazz calls RAW a “brand of a punks, but admits the sneak attack worked to perfection tonight. Batista, Booker and Benoit help up Mysterio as they look pissed RAW executed a perfect hit and run.

    Commercial Break

Cole and Tazz replay the events that transpired during the Mysterio-JBL match and how RAW’s Edge, Snitsky and Tomko pulled a fast over on Smackdown. Camera cut backstage as Edge, Tomko and Snitsky get in the white limo and drive off---as JBL, Booker T, and couple of other Smackdown guys get in his limo and chase them away.

‘Turn Up the Trouble’ hits Smackdown’s resident loudmouth Mr. Kennedy hits the ring as Tazz hypes up his undefeated streak. Cole mentions Kennedy isn’t scheduled to compete tonight, but Tazz promptly tells him to shut up. Kennedy’s snatches a mic from Tony Chimel and says to be honest he doesn’t care about RAW or Smackdown brand supremacy because he’s working on his supremacy. He says he is Smackdown’s fastest rising star and will be a future world champion. He says Baldcore Holly couldn’t beat him at No Mercy and none of the other idiots in the back can beat him. Kennedy says he’s going continue his reign of dominance on this show, and target a certain gap-toothed champion. Kennedy then does his usual introduction spiel to some massive heat as Cole calls him the “most arrogant person who can certainly back it up. As Kennedy is about leave ‘Dominator’ hits as another impressive young stud Bobby Lashley comes out for his match and gets a good pop. Kennedy leaves the ring and two share a brief staredown as Lashley is in action next.

    Commercial Break

RAW Rebound is aired replaying the events of Edge/Teddy Long and the main event title picture as well as Mr. McMahon’s announcement of Brand Supremacy at Survivor Series.

Lashley is in the ring waiting for his opponent, and ‘I’ll Show You’ hits as it’s the wacky Steven Richards as Tazz calls this a huge test for Lashley.

    Singles Match:

    Bobby Lashley vs. Steven Richards

Contrary to what Tazz said, this was a Lashley showcase. Lashley showcased some insane powers as he hit suplex after suplex and powerslam after powerslam with the greatest of ease. Lashley, after a few moments of domination, speared Richards in half which drew oohs from the crowd. Lashley then picked up Richards and slammed him down with the Dominator for the victory.

    Winner: Bobby Lashley (2:45)

A split screen of Randy Orton and his dad as well as Eddie Guerrero is shown, their number one contender’s match is up next!

    Commercial Break

Backstage in Teddy Long’s office Palmer Cannon’s on the phone. Batista storms in and says he’s going to RAW and kicking every one of their asses. Cannons says he’s mad too but he can’t risk his champion getting injured, so he called Eric Bischoff and on RAW next week---it will be Tyson Tomko and Snitsky vs. Rey Mysterio and John Bradshaw Layfield. Batista still looks a little bitter but then says he’s going to get his hand around Edge’s throat for what he did to Rey AND Teddy Long and then leaves.

‘Burn In My Light’ hits as the ‘Legend Killer’ Randy Orton saunters to the ring with his dad as he gets some massive heat. ‘Gangsta Lean’ hits as Eddie Guerrero comes in the classic Low-rider as he gets a surpsing amount of cheers as he looks ready to face the Legend Killer.

Number 1 Contender’s Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Randy Orton w/ Cowboy Bob Orton vs. Eddie Guerrero

This was a hot main event, a lot of back and forth action as this was the first time these two have been in the ring before. Guerrero took to the Legend Killer early on but Orton halted the momentum with a beautiful dropkick. For the next few minutes signature moves were countered and no complete advantage was taken. Through, Guerrero tried to go the Hilo but Orton dodged it and nailed Guerrero with a hard neckbreaker and began to get really cocky and poses as we headed to commercial.

    Commercial Break

Back from break, and Orton’s got a signature rest hold on Eddie. The crowd wills Eddie back into and Eddie hits back suplex and starts to land shot on Orton, but Cowboy Bob grabs Eddie’s heel and Orton props Eddie on the rope and hits his rope-hung DDT for a CLOSE two count. Orton goes to the top for a crossbody by overshoots and hits the ref. Guerrero hits the three amigos and does shimmy to go to the top rope. Guerrero sets up for the Frog Splash but Bob Orton gets on the top rope and Guerrero kicks him off. Orton though regains his strength and hits an RKO off the top rope. Orton covers and the groggy ref count to two but Guerrero gets his foot on the rope as Orton is in disbelief. Orton picks him up for another RKO but Guerrero rolls him up and hooks Orton’s tights and gets the three count!

    Winner and Number One Contender
    : Eddie Guerrero (13:24)

Following the match, the HSBC Arena is in a cheering frenzy as Eddie has just cheated his way to a World Title Match in two weeks. Eddie celebration is shor lived as the Ortons attacks him and lay the boots to him. The elder Orton grabs a steel chair and suggests Randy to RKO Guerrero on the chair. The crowd goes crazy as Batista marches down the aisle and starts dishing out spinebusters to the Orton clan. Batista nails Cowboy Bob with a hard Batista Bomb, and then has his sights on Orton. Guerrero measures Orton for a chairshot, but Orton slyly ducks out of the way and Guerrero’s chairshot connects with the champion’s skull. Guerrero freaks out and Orton slides out of the ring unscathed as Guerrero throws the chair away and checks on the laid out Batista as Cole signs off for Smackdown.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

    SMACKDOWN Review!

-Didn't really feel what was going on in the first segment....But is ended well with the match being set up.

-The JBL segment in his locker room felt a bit rushed....Could have done something that would make it a bit longer or evolved Rey Mysterio.

-Good technical match between Benoit/Regal....Good way to try and get Jordan into the US title picture. But keeping Benoit with the upper hand was the right move for now.

-Keeping MNM in the title picture after there match was also a good move..

-Did not really understand Christian's Peep Show...It felt rushed and it did not really do much for Christian/Hardy feud besides adding Stacy Kiebler into it. The segment seemed rushed.

-Again the Legion of Doom and Mexicools brawl was rushed and don't really see a point for adding the Mexicools into it when MNM are the clear contenders.

-The JBL/Mysterio match was good....But I didn't really know what was happening. The RAW vs. SMACKDOWN thing is a good idea but you just kinda slapped random RAW guys coming out of the crowed...Going into SS having Long hurt gave RAW momentum but having a half completed hit and run swung it back to 50-50. So basically the idea is good but it is not written well if you understand what I am saying.

-The scene in Long's office between Batista and Cannon was a good idea and it will be interesting to see if JBL and Rey can work as a team for SMACKDOWN.....I think Batista will go to RAW and whoop some ***.

-Good main event contenders match.....Good match but the after match was what made it work well. Wonder what will happen with Orton/Eddie and Batista. It is a good story...

-Overall your show is rushed but there were also a lot of good points.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

Friday Night SmackDown! review - October 14, 2005

    - Excellent opening to the show, with Orton bragging about his victory over Undertaker at No Mercy and directly switching his intentions onto the World Heavyweight title picture. Also Eddie coming out and saying that he wants one more match for the World title was good and it setting up the main event for later is also nice.

    - Benoit and Regal matches back then were always bruising and tough to watch because whenever they did something it would make me feel like my body was damaged lol. Anyways the match seemed really physical and Orlando sticking his nose in their business was good, however not good enough.

    - MNM vs. Kendrick and London was always a treat back then, good back and forth match with MNM winning, those two were two great tag teams and it did not matter how many times they faced each other it was always a treat .

    - The PeepShow was fine however one thing that came out of it was only Matt Hardy's SmackDown debut, and nothing else.

    - Rey Mysterio vs. JBL was nicely written and having it end in a No Contest was even better because it makes the whole Brand Supremecy storyline mean even more, I expect Bradshaw and Mysterio to pay a visit on the next Raw to Edge and whomever his partner will be.

    - Ken Kennedy was a good prospect back then, we didn't get to see much of him in 2005 due to his injury however he had a nice character as well as the mic skills and wrestling skills. His promo was quite nice and entertaining and I expect a Kennedy vs. Lashley feud soon.

    - Eddie Guerrero becoming the number one contender was pretty good, could you give to us what WWE couldn't and that is a Triple threat match for the Heavyweight title between Batista, Orton and Guerrero, I also expect that after the upcoming weeks Orton and Guerrero will be feuding over who should "RIGHTFULLY" be the contender.

    - Nice show.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

    Monday Night RAW
    October 17, 2005
    Sacramento, California
Announcers: Jim Ross & The Coach & Jerry Lawler

9:00-9:01 The ‘Power is Back’ vignette plays as we get recap of last week’s RAW focusing on the WWE Title Picture and Kurt Angle getting a one on one match with John Cena for the title tonight.

9:01-9:03 After the RAW opening package, J.R., King and the Coach hype up two big matches for tonight---including a Raw vs. Smackdown preview JBL and Rey Mysterio vs. Snitsky and Tomko, as well as a rematch from Unforgiven for the WWE Championship Kurt Angle vs. John Cena.

9:03-9:21- ‘Medal’ hits as the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle comes out with his manager Davari to some tremendous heat and very loud “You Suck” chants. Angle grabs a mic and says that the crowd can “You Suck” all they want but unlike the Sacramento Kings, he’ll be a champion! He says he’s going to bring prestige and value to the WWE Championship, and get rid of the stupid spinner and bring back the old WWE Title. He says these ungrateful fans don’t deserve to she the moment of him winning his foifth world title and wish he could do it the city of champions Los Angeles, and not this dump called Sacramento. Fans begin chanting “you suck” as Angle says that when he wins the WWE Championship from John Cena—all these’s fans better give him the standing ovation he deserves. He then stands in the middle of the ring and soaks in the boos until ‘Sexy Boy’ hits as the boos rapidly turn into deafening cheers, as Kurt looks pissed. Michaels says when Kurt becomes the champion, the first thing he is going to do is give Shawn Michaels a one-on-one title match to settle this Michaels-Angle situation. HBK says that at WWE Homecoming, Angle-Michaels III went to a stalemate, and we didn’t get to see who the better man was. Angle tells Michaels that when he takes the title Cena, he’d love to make his washed-up ass tap. They start jawing eachother until ‘Cool’ hits and Carlito strolls out to the ring much to the bewilderment of Angle and Michaels. Carlito says that if anyone deserves a WWE Championship Match it’s him---because he’s the reason why Kurt even has a shot tonight. Michaels tells Carlito that the’big boys’ are talking and he’ll give him a nickel and he can go to the back where he belongs. Carlito slaps Michaels' mic out of his hand and says or he could kick the Has Been Kid’s ass and that would be cool. He says as cool as cool as at Taboo Tuesday when Crlito is the WWE Champion. Suddenly, the ‘Time is Now’ hits as the WWE Champion John Cena storms out to a massive pop as he plays to the crowd at the ramp. Cena says he must’ve not gotten the memo that Kurt’s taking his title. Cena says the champ is still here and the end of the night, the champ will not be the doofus with the mouthguard, the legend who wears chaps and chains or the Chia-Pet Putz. Cena then says he doesn’t care who he has to face tonight, tommmorow, next week or at Taboo Tuesday because it will end up with the Doctor of Thuganomics STILL the WWE Champion. ‘I’m Back’ hits and Eric Bischoff cuts to the chase and says that Michaels and Carlito have valid points, and that next week it will Carlito going one on one with Shawn Michaels. The fans cheer as Michaels and Carlito staredown, Bischoff then glares at Cena and says he can’t wait for tonight when Kurt Angle beats his ass and takes the WWE title. Cena gives Bischoff the ‘You Can’t See Me Chant, drops the mic and holds up his title as Carlito, Angle and Michaels look on in the ring.

9:21-9:21 Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler hype up John Cena vs. Kurt Angle in WWE Championship Match, as well as Chris Masters Masterlock challenge to Mick Foley

    9:22-9:25 Commercial Break

9:25-9:27: ‘Ain’t No Stopping Me Now’ hits as Shelton Benjamin comes out as we are shown a reply of Kerwin White and Nick Nemeth’s assault on him last week. ‘
Never Though My Life Could Be This Good‘ hits as Kerwin White and his caddy come down to the ring in the golf cart and get some pretty good heat as Kerwin only offers the Caucasians in the audience high-fives.

    Singles Match:
Shelton Benjamin vs. Nick Nemeth w/Kerwin White

Nemeth was making his in-ring debut and he was impressive, early on he took to Shelton of course with much help from Kerwin. Nemeth wowed the crowd with impressive dropkicks and good mat skills. He eventually wore him down with a sleephold, Benjamin battled back and hit his signature moves including the Stinger Splash and dragon whip kick which got near falls. Shelton set up for the T-Bone but White got up on the apron. Nemeth charged at Benjamin and accidently nailed White. Benjamin then surprised White with a T-Bone Suplex for the three count.

    Winner: Shelton Benjamin (5:01)

9: 33-9:35- After the match, Kerwin White sneaks in the ring with golf club and goes to swing it at Benjamin but Shelton ducks and nails Kerwin with a superkick. Benjamin then leaves the ring and hops in the golf cart and drives it out of the arena much to dismay of White and Nemeth!

9:35-9:37- Backstage, Eric Bischoff is in his office talking to Tomko and Snitsky, until Edge and Lita stroll in. Edge asks if Eric wanted to see him. Bischoff says that at Taboo Tuesday, the civil union of Teddy Long and Palmer Cannon requested a RAW superstar to face 4 possible Smackdown superstars. Bischoff says he’s naming Edge the RAW superstar that will defend the superior brand. Edge smirks and says he is the biggest star in the WWE today, and he is Mr. Money-In-the-Bank. He tells Eric that he will be glad to beat the hell out of some Smackdown curtain jerkers, as they laugh and share a handshake

    9:38-9:42- Commercial Break

9:42- 9:45- We return back from commercial break and Todd Grisham is standing by Triple H. As soon as Triple H walks into the shot, he gets a tremendous amount of heat. Grisham goes to ask a question but Triple H snatches the mic and tells Grisham to leaves. He says that Ric Flair is scheduled to appear on Raw next week, and all these fans are going to cheer and tells Ric to challenge the “evil” Triple H to match and get that measure of revenge. Triple H tells Ric not to be stupid, and do the noble and smart thing and retire. He then says if Ric decides to be stupid enough to challenge him to a match at Taboo Tuesday he promises he will make the decision for him next week. Triple H then starts laughing and smiling much to JR’s disgust.

9:45-9:47- ‘Southern Pride’ hits as the World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch stroll out as we are shown replays of Show decimating them last week. The Coach says he’s putting himself on the ballot, and could be tag champion. ‘Big’ hits as the Big Show comes out to a loud pop and starts giving high-fives to the fans

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

    Raw Review - October 17, 2005

    - Nice opening with Kurt Angle proclaiming to become the next champion. Also you got what I said and that is that 3 guys are going to be in contention for Cena's title.

    - Nice match up seeting a tag team championship match as well. And also I think back 2005 was the right time to bring back the Masked Kane. Because 2011 the roster has changed, the landscape has changed, 2005 was the right time to bring back Kane being masked.

    - JBL and Rey invading Raw was expected. I also predict that the whole Raw vs. SmackDown thing will also be carrying for a few more weeks.

    - Foley and Masters feuding? sounds cool. I suspect Masters to call out Foley in the coming weeks.

    - Nice main event with Kurt Angle and John Cena. I like how you have several guys in Conention for Cena's title. However I think this needs to be a Fatal Four Way match; or an elimination F4W match in which there could be a stipulation for voting. Example... Cena vs. Angle vs. Carlito vs. HBK in either..

    A) Tables Elimination Fatal Four Way match
    B) No Disqualification F4W match
    C) Steel Cage F4W match
    D) Falls Count Anywhere F4W match

    Other than that nice episode.

I know you’re a lot of things Eddie, a cheater, a thief and most importantly—a liar, but you’re not stupid. If you screwed me over it’d be the worst mistake of you’re life Eddie, but I know you wouldn’t do that unless you wanted the biggest ass kicking of your life so buddy consider you’re apology accepted!” Fans cheer as Eddie put his hand for a handshake but Batista instead pulls Eddie into a hug much to Eddie’s shock and discomfort. Suddenly, the moment is interrupted by ‘Burn In My Light’ as Randy Orton strolls out to the ramps with his dad, Cowboy Bob Orton to an insane amount of heat. “How cute, that’s really freaking cute and all but I have problem with you, Eddie Guerrero. Batista was right, you are a liar, a cheater and a damn thief, and because I should be the Number One Contender and you stole that from me. I’m asking you, no, no demanding that you rightfully give me back what’s mine and forfeit your title match next week to me.” The crowd starts booing as Guerrero begins to speak “Alright, alright, alright, fine Randy, you can take my place in the title match next week, you’re right I cheated and I feel bad.” Orton starts smirking as the fans and Batista are confused at Eddie’s words. Orton goes to speak but Guerrero cuts him off and starts laughing “Oh, remember Randy, I lie, I cheat and I steal, you are out of your mind esse if you think I’d give you my title match, but how about tonight me and my best friend Dave face you and a partner of your choice tonight!” Orton, fuming talks to his dad and says “You’re on!, and tonight when I beat you two I will show you why I’m Randy Orton, Legend Killer…and next World Heavyweight Champion." Juventud looks at his teammates confused as he asks what defend means. "Well playa let me break it down for you, starting next week you will be defending that title every single week against any and all cruisweights you feel me?" Juventud yells "Que" at Teddy until Teddy cuts him off "By the way you should get ready for your non-title match....next!". Teddy leaves as The Mexicools start yelling in Spanish.

"Now a lot of you are wondering why the Captain started some beef with Matt Hardy. Why the Peep Show has become quite intense, and why Christian pushed Hardy into Stacy Kiebler? Well it’s quite simple; I have been on this damn show for 4 months and haven't gotten one opportunity because Teddy Long ignores talent!" Fans starts chanting Christian sucks to the ire of Christian. "Teddy Long decided last week to bring an overrated, untalented, whiny little punk to Smackdown and promote him as a future World Champion on RAW two weeks ago. Matt Hardy could barely even keep his job nevertheless a girlfriend, and he's who Teddy Long wants to promote as his "future". Fans are really tearing into Christian as they are sick of his complaining and ranting. "Well I will tell all of my peeps that Christian is will finally make an impact, 2006 will be the year of the Peep Show, Captain Charisma and the Instant Classic! 2006 will be the year you will hear the words Ladies and gentlemen, the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. Bischoff laughs “Oh come on Teddy, I just came here to scout the B-show talent and was curious to know who will present as a challenge to Mister Money in the Bank,Edge at Taboo Tuesday.” Teddy’s eyes don’t leave Bischoff’s, then he starts smiling “hang tight playa, you will see.”

‘Do I Want” hits as the Chief of Staff Orlando Jordan comes out with Jillian Hall as he gives her a pep talk while they walk to the ring. Cole wonders why JBL isn’t out here, but Tazz plays it off that OJ can handle this solo. "Metallingus" hits as Edge (briefcase in hand) and his girlfriend Lita hit the ring to a massive amount of heat as Cole and Tazz call him “a talented yet disgusting person”. Edge looks confident as ever, as he strolls around the ring, even jawing at Tazz for a little bit.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2005: Re-write

In the words of Daniel Bryan.... YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

You are booking the match we never saw and it could have been the potential WM22 SD! main event as well. I'm looking forward to the Batisa/Eddie/Orton.

    - As for a few other moments liking the fact that you had SMACKDOWN! whoop Edge's behind, and I feel like you are making Smackdown the clean brand and the stars on that show saying that RAW is full of punks and scums and it makes for an interesting developing storyline, (I liked the one in real life, hope you can book one that differs a little)

    - Christian's intentions on becoming Heavyweight Champion? I am intrigued and cannot wait to see what you got in store with this whole angle hopefully it leads to him getting a title opportunity. BTW will Christian be released in your BTB? since he was released in 2005 around November and then signed with TNA. Because you mentioned 2006 however he was in TNA at the time, or are you ignoring that?

    - Overall nice show, cannot wait for more and also cannot wait for Taboo Tuesday and Beyond.
