A feast of football this week. I think I'll watch both Champions League matches tomorrow then Citys game and the Inter Milan game wednesday before heading up to Old Trafford for the United game.

    ^ Sweet. Have fun.

Hopefully I'm able to watch Munchen/Basel on Wednesday, and hopefully Ajax/ManU Round Two will be a more exciting start to finish game than the first game.

AVB must have Abramovich's backing or else he's taking a huge risk with his Chelsea team tonight.

Just watched the CSKA/Real game, last gasp equaliser for CSKA - still think it's advantage Madrid with the second leg being in Spain.

That's not far off being Chelsea's strongest team thesedays I'd say Phantom, other than those missing from injury or lacking match practice. Basically I'm only surprised Malouda is playing.

Either way, I actually hope Chelsea get a result tonight. Won't be that interested in CL if there are no English teams, plus I quite like AVB.

I want Cavani to rip them to shreds.

    Good decision guys.
...but then Liverpool wouldn't have the man-beast known as Andy Carroll...!

Didn't notice Cole wasn't starting btw. Guess he's someone that isn't backing AVB!

I'm watching a Tunisian stream, the commentator is completely nuts. Absolutely fanatical, doesn't stop talking excitedly even for a second.

Total sitter for Cavani there. Really should have scored. Good save from Cech all the same.

Funny Cole is dropped cause of presumably not backing AVB and now he's going to have to play nearly the full game.

looking how things thing have turned out £35m for Carroll has arguably been a better buy

England got destoyed in the Champo league this year it seems. I know there still is another leg for both Arsenal & Chelsea but both teams look more than out now. The defending though like Tommy said for both sides has been pretty damn horrendous tonight. If this was against someone like Barca they would have gotten ripped to shreds.

I'm surprised that Napoli weren't a bit more clincical.

Chelsea are in better shape to make something out of the 2nd leg than Arsenal. I think Chelsea will be hard-pressed to do it, but getting Terry back could make something of a difference and the away-goal could be huge.

Both teams were really bad defensively, which usually leads to the best games. I was thoroughly entertained by the match.

Napoli definitely have the edge here. A 2-0 win for Chelsea will put them through, but I can't see them keeping a clean sheet against Napoli.

According to Sky Sports, he's undergoing surgery this week and is going to be out for around two months so he won't be playing in the second leg match.

Bad night for Chelsea, but it could have been worse. The away goal helps them hugley.

England weren't in the CL to be honest.

I like seeing Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City mess up in the CL to be honest, like to see Arsenal and Spurs do well though generally.

Fantastic win tonight against the current holders for City tonight, we didn't even need to get out of 2nd gear.
