    Leverkusen/Barca
    Milan/Arsenal
    Ajax/Man Utd then City/Porto

It's good to have European football back on. I can see Milan beating Arsenal. Van Persie, possibly the best striker in the world right now, up against Thiago Silva, definitely the best defender in the world right now.

Also only only four teams have won all three European Trophies(European Cup/Champions League, UEFA Cup/Europa Leaguie & Cup Winners Cup) if United win the trophy they become the fifth.

Yes, the other four clubs are Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern Munich & Juventus

A Manchester derby in Romania would be different but great at the same time.

I hate how ITV are trying the American route of having an advert break a few minutes into their coverage then another ad break just before the match, pretty soon we are going to get breaks during the game.

Even North American broadcasters don't do that. I might honestly stop watching if they start interrupting the match broadcast for commercials.

During the 1994 World Cup in the States the Americans actually requested that the games to be split into quarters rather than halfs to get more ad breaks in.

Yikes. Doesn't surprise. I read that during some of the first MLS broadcasts, they did split-screen between the match and commcercials every so often...

**** thats bad. Hopefully it never reaches that stage over here.

As for the game Arsenal got right and truly owned. Don't see them making the Quater finals now unless a miracle occurs.

Going to be hard for me to keep any real interest in the Champion's League if Chelski don't manage to defeat Napoli. Chelsea's defence will need to improve somewhat but I think they should at least be able to beat Napoli as they have been pretty poor this season as well.

Other than watching English teams, the only thing that would probably interest me now would be an El Clasico but I'd rather it comes in the semi's or final.

I have to say this is the most interesting Europa League/UEFA Cup for many years.

Indeed. And once Arsenal finish what they started yesterday and crash out of the Champions League in embarassing fashion, I'll probably have more interest in the Europa than the CL...
