First PL test without Ba. Hopefully we can pick up a win, but our home record hasn't been great and the last match we had with QPR was our worst performance of the season.

Swansea vs Arsenal could be a good game for the neutral.

Wigan and Bolton should be easy pickings for City and United respectively.

Swansea vs Arsenal is probably game of the weekend, City need to break the recent away form.

Not really a better team to do it against than Wigan.

I live in hope of an upset though!

Another Sunderland win at Chelsea would be lovely but i'd happily take a draw

Big win for Spurs against Everton puts them level on points with Man Utd. Man U and Man City both have better goal difference which is effectively worth half a point. Normally I would have expected Spurs to fall away but neither Manchester team is all that convincing right now (I mean by title challenging standards) so I think Spurs have a chance.

Re: Premier League Discussion January 11th-16th

Some very interesting results today. Man Utd's win was expected, but Spurs drawing is a disappointment for them. Blackburn's resurgance continues; Norwich are looking more and more comfortable; Liverpool still can't win at home.

We can go up to 6th with a win over QPR. 5th if we win by 5 goals, although that's not happening.

I think Kenny would do better to come out of retirement himself and play instead of Carroll at this point.

    Agreed shock.

Not a great result but I saw the lineup and formation and it didn't fill me with any hope at all

Great to hear scholes score too. First Henry now scholes at this rate Newcastle may as well bring Shearer back. Chelsea get Zola and us bring back Fowler or someone.

Re: Premier League Discussion January 11th-16th

I'm ****ing sick of being caught on the break at home, dominate the game yet again, and lose because our full backs are playing as winger. It happened against Wigan, it happened against Stoke, it happened against Spurs and it happened again today.

Our home record stinks, 2 wins, 2 draws, 7 losses.

At this point in time I'm looking forward to Albion playing away to Stoke, a game we lose 99% of the time, more than playing at home again.

We better take revenge in the FA Cup in a fortnight.
