The championship game has begun.Good luck Bama. Win us our 14th championship.
Games been pretty boring so far. But it's pretty much what I think everyone expected. Bama's up 15-0 with about 8 minutes left. LSU is driving. But offenses pretty much suck. Still wish OKST got a chance to go up against at least one of these teams.
Boring is the last word I'd use to describe this game. I don't understand the mindset that 'no touchdowns' = boring. Also, it's not so much that the offenses suck as the defenses are so damn good.
Also... TD Richardson!
In comparison to the regular season game, this was much more boring and far less exciting. Still, a superb effort on the part of Alabama and they really showed they wanted it more than LSU tonight. Congrats to that kicker for redeeming himself as well.
I don't believe what I am reading?Come on guys, appreciate Bama for shutting down the #1 team and against one of the top defenses in college football this entire season.I was extremely amazed on how Alabama played tonight. I would have ever see a defense shutting down LSU in New Orleans.Congratulations guys.
Yea cause LSU has a totally explosive offenses. Both offenses outside of Trent Richardson are mediocre at BEST. Even when they aren't playing each other, the offenses suck. Not to mention it's much harder to beat a team twice. And I think everyone considered Bama to have a better defense than LSU. Congratulations to Alabama for winning the SEC Championship Game.
Just so we're clear, in a season and system that touts Every game matters
Bama is now declared a national champion, because it went 1-1 vs LSU.
Yep, that's college football.
The NFL doesn't really promote itself on EVERY GAME MATTERS. The feeling always seems to be if your team can get to that 10 win mark and get into the playoff, anything can happen. But really I think the only sports that have the best playoff system in crowning the best team are MLB, NHL and NBA. But they can't do that with football.
Lowest rated BCS Title Game in nine years. hahaha.
Thank the BCS for the rematch (which I still think it was unfair that OK State didn't get in). But honestly, I have never seen a defense that played a near-perfect defensive game. How many #1 teams gets shutout by a #2 team in a title game?
The ratings don't lie, first time in BCS history that the title game wasn't the top rated program the night it aired.
Working as intended.
the splits were pretty much what everyone thinks, No one outside Louisiana/Alabama/Texas cared.
