    Re: NFL Playoffs

Steelers, because Tebow sucks and so does Denver.

Falcons, because it's about time for the Giants to choke.

Saints, because they are just a better team.

Bengals, because I just don't trust TJ Yates or JAKE DELHOMME

For some crazy reason I feel like the Broncos are going to pull a crazy won off with Big Ben hurting.
    Den 16 Steelers 10

Saints will destroy the Lions even though I am rooting hard for the Lions.
    Saints 45. Lions. 28

Giants squeak out a victory over Atlanta. Not really sure why but I feel like Eli is heading deep in the playoffs this year.
    G-men 35. Falcons 28

I also think Dalton pulls off a rookie win over the QBless Texans. It's really too bad Schaub went down. This should have been their year to go deep
    Cincy 23. Texans 20

Steelers- they are the better overall team. Denver has gotten lucky and their luck is about to run out.

New York- I have a crazy feeling they are going to pull one out. And Atlanta are choke artists in the playoffs.

Detroit- I personally don't think they will win, but I want them to. They are the feel good story of the year in the NFL

Houston- Overall they are the better team. It will be a very close game though.

    Re: NFL Playoffs

Steelers - The Broncos just aren't very good, and the Steelers defense vs. the Broncos offense is just unfair. I don't think the Steelers will beat the Patriots/Ravens next round though, Big Ben and Mendenhall being injured and out respectively is too much to overcome.

Giants - Giants are the hotter team, and the pass rush has really improved the last two weeks. Plus the Falcons struggle outdoors, and while the weather at the Meadowlands is going to be nice tomorrow for January standards, I still don't think the Falcons will do well outdoors.

Saints - New Orleans is just too good at home. Too bad that the Lions drew the Saints in the first round because they are a very dangerous team, and I'm glad the Giants didn't have to face the Lions.

Texans - I think the defense and Arian Foster running the ball will be enough in this game, although a Bengals win would not surprise me at all.

    Re: NFL Playoffs

So Houston decided to not make it a close game. Not surprised that they won, I just thought it would be closer.

Detroit and the Saints are tied up halfway through the second quarter. Been a pretty good game thus far.

Yeah 3 point difference, what defense will play less horrible in the 4th quarter will decide the outcome.

Damn Detroit decided not to show up in the second half. They were playing so good too. Hopefully next year they will come back stronger and make it out of the first round.

Well Atlanta totally choked in another playoff game. 2 points? Really? They need to find their balls in the playoffs.

Yeah people will get on Matt Ryan again, bunch of wins in the regular season but no wins to show for it, in the playoffs.

wow. I've never done that before.

Picked all the winners too except Cincy/Texans which I never usually get right either....

So since I am on such a roll.

    Re: NFL Playoffs

O Ike Taylor giving up inside position when you 0 coverage and not forcing Tebow to make the tough outside shoulder throw...

Seriously Ike Taylor has been awful for years...he gave up over 200 yards on 4 catches to Thomas with Tebow throwing the ball, he should have been cut during the game.

Like good on Tebow and all that ****, but seriously Ike Taylor is horrendous at football.

    Re: NFL Playoffs

And yet if Tebow didn't capitalize on all that, people would be ****ting on him. Lets ignore the fact the Steelers had the #1 Pass Defense in the regular season. Lets not give Tebow any credit for playing with the highest pressure of any QB. Let's ignore the fact he job was supposedly on the line(which may have turned out to be fabricated) Let's ignore the fact he still hasn't played a full season. What is this kid going to have to do to get any kind of credit? What was everyone saying before the game? "Oh I CAN'T WAIT to see the Steelers destroy and end this Tebow garbage" And now we are getting the same **** now with the Patriots. With the way people are against Tebow he could win the Super Bowl and people all over would still be finding ways to not give him credit.

    Re: NFL Playoffs

If Tebow wins the Super Bowl I'll give him all the credit in the world. Getting by the Steelers, Pats, AND Saints/Packers would be a tremendous feat and something you just couldn't deny.

    Not happening though...

    Re: NFL Playoffs

If Tebow wins the Super Bowl I'll stop watching football...

I give Tebow credit but seriously you can't ignore that was some of the worst coverage ever by Ike Taylor he played horrendous. So instead of giving Tebow credit for doing something any competent QB would have done let's give some credit to the great play call (he doesn't call the plays), and the great route/stiff arm by Thomas (I don't think his presence on the field made Thomas run a great route and use a great stiff arm)

It's not like he made some fantastic throw...it was pretty elementary...yes he made it...good job...
