They're more successful than Queen by records sales, but they aren't making a movie about Journey.

Journey's a fantastic band. So many good songs from the band: Separate Ways, Faithfully, Don't Stop Believin, Open Arms, Anyway You Want It, Wheel In The Sky, Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin', Stone In Love and Who's Crying Now. At my brother's wedding, he and wife chose the song as their main song.

It's still a shame that Steve Perry went on hiatus, ending up leaving the band without his voice. Journey is not Journey without Perry.

Somewhere I have a picture of us with Neal Schon and Deen Castranovo who was the drummer for Journey for a long time. If I find it I'll post it. All 4 shows were great fun. Journey has always been a favorite of his and mine.Their song With Your Love was played at the Alter when we got married

The Runaways has always been one my favorite Shows out there, and the Music during Episodes so perfectly place. One of my favs from the past two Seasons and when you see the Scene that wraps together with the Song it fits.

Sometimes Music can put you into a flashback just by hearing the Song. I was going through my Spotify Songs and this Song came up on the Shuffle and now I'm in tears. I remember in 94 being a little kid and hearing Music like this, as my Mother would get us ready for School or clean. Great now I have to answer questions why I'm I crying to my Mother right now

Those who dig 2Cellos like myself, might also dig Simply Three. They do covers of songs using primarily a Cello, Double Bass, and Violin, and occasional computer sound effect, machine, things, I don't know what they're called, along with an original work here and there.

Here's their take on Avicii's 'Wake Me Up', which always seems like a popular choice for cover bands.

And one of their original works, 'Maverick.'

    's good stuff bruh

I don't if any of you are familiar with Tyler Childers and the Food Stamps, but I find them to be a musical treat. Think old time Apalachian music tackling modern Apalachia problems....Childers has an old rough voice that just cuts through the music. Yes, he gets a lot of comparisons to both Sturgill Simpson and Chris Stapleton; but I think they are much more than just fellow musicians from Kentucky. Childers and his crew have performed with both men, but he's way different from both men. (Which is a good thing, imo.) Take his most popular song Whitehouse Road.

I've heard so many versions of this song and so much debate from his fanbase about which one is "THE" one.

The original version is more or less

Raw feel to a gritty song about real life in Eastern Kentucky; but anybody from a lower end background gets it. You sometimes embrace the vices to get through life. It can be hard, but you do what you can to enjoy it while you have it.

This acoustic version seems to be the most popular with some diehards. The tones changes in this one. Its haunting at times. Childers reaches back with this version. You can hear it being played people like Flatts and Scruggs on back porches and not blink. It fits into the genre and becomes timeless in its simplicity.

more recent version (with Sturgil on lead guitar). You either love it or hate it. I love it, but the tone has morphed into a bad ass jam song that gets your foot tapping. This almost feel like a Kentucky version of Widespread Panic. (And I have no problem with that)

All in all.....same song but three vastly different versions of it that change it. Normally one person can't pull that off, but I think Childers nails it.

Oh, and yes I know they are both Canadian and these are not necessarily his real views. But he is representing a point of view in a way maybe some people can understand who wouldn't normally.
