Nice start, 99 seperate entries eh? That's not surprising considering the diversity of selections in the last list. Props to everyone who did a list, boo to Ken The Killer for NOT doing one and of course ultimate props to Crocker for taking the time to put it together and do all that pesky math. Rep him, rep him now!!

No love for Cassidy/Funk? Boo. On the bright side of things it's nice to know Blitz has a thing for Beefcake, Zeus, Warlord, Barbarian, Hercules AND Paul Roma!

I kinda liked the 2009 Survivor Series match and the Wrestlemania XX opener is fun but not really that good of a match. Flash Funk vs Leif Cassidy is just okay though.

Thanks for this Crocker, although something tells me you might be too busy to update today

I didn't take part in this either, Fuji. And I'm beginning to regret it.

Even if it's not the best match by ratings standards it's still nice to see Muraco/Orton vs. Can Am's on here, if for nothing else than it's historical significance and of course because Mr. Fuji is there.

re: Greatest Opening WWE Pay Per View Match Ever? - The Countdown - We Have A Winner

My ballot was kinda bleh. Didn't rewatch anything so it was all from memory and didn't watch anything new-to-me, so it there will probably be some good matches I missed, but I thought'd be better to hand in a ballot than not at all.

Amusing to see the comically bad Hardy-Umaga match listed. Also would have expected the Armageddon fourway tag to get atleast another vote considering how popular BookDust were and how big their win was at the time.

Some really odd choices here. JBL vs Cena was pretty poor, and Matt Hardy vs Kozlov was just bad from what I remember. I think I remember Swagger vs Matt Hardy and the Unforgiven tag match being pretty good though.

Suprised to see only one of my matches has made it on so far, someone else must have good taste.

I quite liked Umaga/Punk from Judgement Day, but it wasn't good enough to get on my list.

I remember liking Cena vs JBL a fair bit despite everyone else seemingly hating it... Hardy vs Kozlov was also pretty rock solid.

None of mine up there. Swagger/Hardy, D-Lo/Val and Kid/Hakushi were some of the last off my list though, all are fairly decent matches.

re: Greatest Opening WWE Pay Per View Match Ever? - The Countdown - We Have A Winner

Hell yeah, first match on the list. Love the Judgment Day 2000 six man tag. It's loads of fun. Some matches that were pretty close to my list, notably Nitro/Hardy, the ECW Scramble from Unforgiven 2008 and Helms/Hardy.
