Discuss what you feel have been the worse matches of the year in here.
The Miz vs Orton last night officially marked the end of 20+ years as a WWE fan for me. It was abysmal on a personal level.
Roll Tide...Because Charlie said so.

Most abysmal match? I'd have to give it to either the "epic" Tag Team Match on the March 8 edition of iMPACT! (Hogan/Abyss vs Styles/Flair) or Edge/Kane from Survivor Series.
The over the top rope match between Khali and Edge was fairly horrible. Forget the date of it though so I might have to say it goes to either the horrible Tag Team Turmoil match from NoC, the overbooked shittiness of the No Surrender match between Hardy and Angle, or of course, the aforementioned Kane/Edge match from Survivor Series which I just finished watching .
Two jump to mind... The Impact main event from early in the year when Styles defeated Angle by screwjob as they re-enacted Montreal for no apparent reason. The second was a TNA PPV main event (sorry, I refuse to look it up) where Abyss slammed someone (Styles?) through the ring after a disqualification finish...

Edge vs Kane is the worst match that I can remember, certainly gets bonus points since it was a main event match.
Marvelous selling, great storytelling, and character moments scattered all in that match up are bad? Well excuse me.
I can't think of a real horrifying match but that is because I have been ignoring them mostly. Maxine vs. Kaitlyn has a legit opportunity.
Edge vs Kane from Survivor Series for nearly making me cry, it was so boring. A whole laundry list of TNA matches. One that stands out in my mind is Robbie E & Cookie vs Jay Lethal & Taylor Wilde, but then again, I didn't expect that to be anything good. I'll have to come back to this, there's so many TNA ones I could name. Any of the NXT Season 3 matches can be here.
Nasty Boys vs Team 3D is pretty much all encompassing suckness
Steel Asylum featuring Homicide, MCMG, Kiyoshi, Consequences Creed, Amazing Red, Jay Lethal and Suicide from the Jan 4th iMPACT.
Thanks to the huge red steel bars, you already had a difficult time seeing anything. There's just mindless fighting for the entire match before Homicide uses a weapon to attack everyone (Including his stable mate) only to get DQ'd in a cage match (!) Homicide decides to still attempt to climb out of the cage, but thanks to the curve nature and already being tired, wastes several minutes trying to escape out of the hole. Despite the commentators saying how it's over, Homicide still tries. All of the wrestlers suddenly jump up and climbs up the cage to try and stop Homicide. Since Homicide can't physically get out, he jumps down and just goes out of the cage. Suddenly, there's the TNA return of arguably the single biggest signing by TNA this year with Jeff Hardy coming out of nowhere to attack Homicide. Why? Who knows. Did anything come about this? Nope.
- Shitty look
- Lame match
- Horrible DQ end in a cage match
- Homicide's painful attempt to get out
- Random and useless return by a megastar
If that isn't the most abysmal match of the year, than nothing is.
Since I saw this match and remember how bad it was, I'll go with JIM and say the steel asylum match from the Jan 4 impact. Thanks for that shitty birthday present TNA. And as I was watching Homicide and his battle against gravity, I was thinking to myself, 'This is Botchamania bound.'
Wade. to attack, approach, or begin vigorously.
Will. power or capacity of free, conscious choice.
Amiable. (to persons) having a pleasing and kindly disposition.
Khali/Edge – Over the top rope challenge where Khali went over the top rope on his own and the match carried on .
AJ/Hulkabyss – ABYSS BROKE THE RING AND THE MATCH STOPPED .
Edge/Kane – So bad, I was falling asleep!
Hardy/Angle – Forced 'epic' match where they had to have a winner and yet put a time limit on that prevented just that. They stopped the match at 20 mins, started it for another five, stopped it, started for another five, stopped it, and thank G-d it stopped for good there. Bloody awful.
The Big Show/SES – Bury a stable, why don't you?

Edge vs Kane is probably my choice. I hate saying that because I like Kane. But he's been bad this year, and the writing's been worse, and that match took the cake.
