    Your WC History

A idea I've had for a while, but I think it would be a good way for newer members to know the history of the site and to get to know the older more established members (like myself). We all got to WC in some form, some may be more interesting than others but We're all here.

I myself got here through being recruited (it's not a great idea >.>) via PM on another site to WH. I was by far the highest ranked person from the other site, if you look back at my very first post I actually demanded a Smod spot. Which was justified in my mind just for being higher ranked on a completely different site <.<. I was a hot shot 16 year old, give me a break .

From there I rose to power as Admin, with GD and PS at my side for a majority of that journey. The History of WH could probably be its own thread but in short it was Drama, it was fun and it spawned some moment that still make me laugh out loud to this day. Fake deaths, fake girlfriends, fake girls. God damn.

WH got sold to the then Monksdiner which was looking to expand there wrestling section. I logged on as a Tech admin job, steped down with in a month because of drama. I've been on and off staff since but this has been by far my longest stay on the staff. Theres a few major moments here and there but I think the highlights of my time on any boards are right now. Admining WH was awesome, but I feel like I'm a lot more productive to the site now than I ever was there.

I'm very interested in hearing the accounts of JVN and WH'ers but anyone can add there times here. Any low lights or high lights that you feel are notable? for the WH'ers any major Lemons moments i'm missing?

    Then, now, forever.

    Re: Your WC History

I joined in the spring of 2000. I had a friend who read a lot of junk on the Internet about wrestlng and he somehow got me onto this board.

Initially, I was a prick. I liked Japanese wrestling, WCW (when it wasn't popular), and stuff. I liked wrestling that told the story in the ring, not outside of it. I also liked MMA which wasn't popular, at least not in this country.

People on the board didn't like me and there was a thread to have me banned.

Somehow I become a mod, after a while. Then I stopped watching wrestling and went to the other sections of the site. I started to talking to some of the members of the board, one being the admin, and at one point he just gave me the job.

The job was mostly awful. I was very liberal. I let people do basically what they wanted to do. But there was always fighting. People always wanted someone banned. Whatever I did seemed unpopular.

Then I quit and gave it to Dan/Simon/Sweet Dee Dee. He did an excellent job. I'm not really sure why he left but he did. He started Monksdiner which I thought was a great idea and I was members of both sites.

I became Admin again, I think by vote, for a while. It didn't last. I gave it up and a douche took over and everything was ruined, I believe. My time order might be messed up.

During this time I was using a lot of coke. In 2006 I had an incident and didn't come back to Monks or JVN for a long time.

In 2010 I googled "Miakal" just for shits and giggles and I found this site. Now I'm posting.

    Re: Your WC History

I joined forums overall in February 2006. I was lured into the teachings of Lemons and was put into the Church of Lemony. Lemons took me under his wing and showed me to WH. I was just a frequent poster there. Didn't really stand out and never became a mod. Though, if I do recall, I remember actually being beloved by Mike (WUUUHHHHHHHHHAAAAA?????!?!?) and GD not liking me (WUUUUHHHHHHHAAAAAA!!?!?!?!).

I really don't remember much from then on out. I remember the series of helping out Ken with his many forum investments from the span of January 2007 to my first half year hiatus in July 2007.

Keep in mind, I was totally avoiding Monk's until the WC official takeover.

Coming back in 2008, can't remember what the name wwas at this point. Maybe WS? This was when I was a super moderator, and did the highly dreadful news reports. I then went on another random half year hiatus in August 2008.

From my first hiatus to April 2009, I was very seperated from guys like Lemons, Stevo, Deuce, TE, Mike, GD, Gary, Paulzo (friendship that developed in PWS over Arctic Monkeys and Puro), Marketh (freindship that developed in PWS in 2006 over.......being nubs?), Thew (friendship that started in PWS in 2006 over music and comedy). So, coming back to being friendly once again and doing my regular overall posting, I was frightened that I argued with Lemons a lot, highly praised by Deuce (who now has developed a one word conversation system), and being liked by GD.

The racism of Paulzo wasn't a suprise.

Coming back from my hiatus. I post regularly everywhere around the section. I also got the KOWC back on track. DD became a fan of me. He got me a mod spot in the music section in May 2009. Same month I won Comeback of the Month (not year, for some reason >.>). I did all that I could to get that section active, and I would say that I did a good job. I resigned due to the epic bullshit that was how the death of Michael Jackson was being handled. It caused me to actually be a staff member and I generally didn't like being insulted 24/7. I got into a squabble and quit.

The epic heel turn of Nicky began. I was generally pissed off at that time due to problems in real life (dead famiily members, dead friend, money issue), so it showed in my post. I also remember losing a bet to Deuce and was breifly christined as 'mileycyrusfan11'. So, I just started postinga fuck load for no reason and it was mostly negative nonsense. I also remember Balla and Paulzo being banned, which was never cool (and Steventon as well, who I quite like and seem to have similar taste in). So, yeah. That happened for a while until I made up with the staff. I was very clingy to Jim at the time. And still am. Love you, bro.

So, yeah. From maybe October to now, I've just been contributing like I've used to. I know I need to get Nickorviewz started. I hosted the best/worst KOWC yet. I am a regular in the e-fed. I have also met cool new people in Roxy, Welbek, Natty (yeah, you're cool), Raiz (who I wasn't around for to see join), and others. I also lol at the actions of guys like neX, Tommy, and several, several others.

I'm hoping to contribute much more to the future. Maybe HoF 2010?

    Re: Your WC History

Back in 1998, I started visiting a website called JimmyVan.com that gave daily news and TV reviews by a great wrestling blogger named....Jimmy Van. I spent a heck of a lot of time there, and only once the site was about to close down (near 2005?) did I realize there was a forum attached to it. I created an account and peeked around, but things were very hectic and heated in there, mostly because of this e-war between JimmyVan.com and the "other site" (Monks) that nobody could talk about there. Eventually, I figured out the url of Monks and joined there.

Over the next few months, I got to know a lot of people and enjoyed reading Wrestling News and Sports...along with just the General Discussion type stuff. Eventually, I became moderator of the General Discussion forum, after much begging to the staff at the time (Joe Cool, Danny, et al) Did that for quite some time, all the while building my e-rep around there. I later became super-mod with the best team we've ever had here IMO - God, PS, and I. Together we kicked ass and took names, and somewhere in there the site changed to wrestlingclique as we all know it today.

To make a long story short, there was a possibility of getting me in the Admin role when Joe Cool stepped down, but PS got it instead and I got bitter and left the staff. Soon enough though, I was inducted into the HoF here, and now am enjoying semi-retirement from this place, popping in once in a while.

My days as a mega-poster are now gone, and when I'm on I spend most of my time chatting it up in the SB. Since I don't watch wrestling anymore, there are fewer and fewer things keeping me here...but I still enjoy my peeps.

    Re: Your WC History

I actually joined JV on my birthday in 2003. I must have been sick that year or in between classes or something. Don't remember how I found it, but I instantly fell in love with it. (I don't know anyone else in my real life besides my dad who watched/watches rasslin'). Then I went to Monks and then whatever the other side one was and then here. DD just invites me everywhere and I follow - either he likes me or he likes having a girl who has regularly stuck around here for so long.
Oddly enough, with how long I've been here I have never been any kindof mod. But I think that's b/c I've never shown any interest. I feel like I was asked once or twice long long ago, but I just like to come here and chat and not go down the path of being a mod on a wrestling message board. No offense meant to all you other assclowns.
As far as I know, I am the longest regularly posting female on the board, but that ranges from JV to monks to here. I don't know about any chicks from other boards.

    Re: Your WC History

I started foruming back in the summer of 2005. I was searching around trying to find spoilers for something (Batista being drafted to SD or something). I found a newsite with a forum attached to it. I signed up and basically lurked for a while because I was completely new to the whole forum posting thing. But eventually I decided to actually take part in actual discussions so I became a full-time member at P-Dubs. While there I met a TON of awesome people, most of my favorites currently residing here at WC. I was one of the original members of the FWA e-fed and I modded the FWA forums, along with Video Games for a period of time. I also ran PDub's sister site's e-fed LOW and modded there for a while. Eventually I got banned from those forums and all related forums for talking to some people from here on MSN >_>.

I bounced between those forums and HPG, but after that I kind of went into an internet hiatus. Eventually I was invited to WS and joined. If I remember correctly I was all kinds of horrible in terms of posting there. I wasn't very serious at all and I think I just spammed most of the time. I was also a member of WH and mainly just talked to Lemons, GD, and bitched about Madden and faulty Rock Band equipment. I went on another hiatus and when I came back I found out about a merger taking place. I had no idea it even happened and ended up logging in with an account that no one knew me by. Once I got my accounts merged and branded with a familiar name I got settled back in. I won Comeback Member of the Month for some reason (<_<) and have been here pretty much every day since.

I mainly spend my time in the shoutbox just shooting the breeze. I do venture to the forums and actually post and have been doing that a lot recently. I modded the Video Game and General sections here for about five minutes until life took over and I got demodded . A big reason why I love this place is it features all of my favorite e-people from the past without the bullshit that was present. Plus there's some awesome "newer" members that I enjoy. I still miss Geno :\.

    Re: Your WC History

I joined in the summer of 2000 the same week my family first got internet. My original account was called "PumpkinsForever", but I wanted to get into the e-fed (it was just beginning) so I created another account and character not-exactly-loosely based on The Crow. I forget what he was called. Then, after my first go at e-fedding failed, I created Freak, another broody cruiserweight whose finishing moves were the Freakshow (jackhammer into tombstone piledriver), the Freakensteiner, and the Shooting Star Press. And a few months later, I defeated Jimmy C in a controversial vote to become the first ever IOFW World Champion. I was 14 years old.

The e-fed went on from there and did pretty well for a year or two, but then guys like Biff and Fazz left forever and it folded up pretty quick. Before Biff left, he appointed me moderator of the Music forum, and I took that pretty seriously for a long time, like all the way up until the great JVN/Monks split (World War III). Apart from that, since I'd quit watching wrestling around 2003, much of my posting became derailing threads with Miakal and Tyler Durden (Bulldog, back then) late at night, or else teasing this hilarious schizophrenic named IdaMAN.

I don't think I've made more than 1000 posts in the past few years. But I like it here, and I'll check up on it most days. I've been here an entire decade now. Today is actually my 24th birthday.

Keep em coming. I know most of the history of alot of peeps, but its good for newbies to read some of this stuff.

Let it also be known that Mikk loves to tout that he was admin here. He never was. It was a 5 minute joke that he kayfabe's as a real run.

It's also nice to see that Jayman was in fact bitter about Peace getting the admin spot. I KNEW IT!!!!

I joined the site in 2003. Don't even remember what month, or even season. Anyway I joined kyn aka knowyournews. Everything is sort of a blur, but I know I was a huge dickhead back then. Annoying as hell, pretty much a freeposter. I'm not sure how the history of these sites goes. I just know I was on kyn, then Jimmyvan I think, then monks now this site. I think that's the actual order of sites.

    Re: Your WC History

I don't even know my history.

I probably started reading JimmyVan.Com around the same time Jayman did. I remember JV saying hi to Mom in posts and bragging about how much traffic the site was getting. Then I remember the downturn in the site, and him looking for a host after IGN.Com dropped him. I was there to fill that spot. I started hosting the site, and joined the forum mostly to keep an eye on the technical details. Since I was also a wrestling fan, I'd occasionally post asking questions on the whereabouts of Jason Sensation.

After awhile I quit hosting the JV.Com site, and instead just moved into the role of being the technical expert for the forum. I like to brag that I lasted 3 administrations, with Miakal, Danny Diamond (Simon/Sweet Dee Dee... etc), and IdaMan. After Idaman, I became the man, and ran the forum for a bit. My role as King was short lived, as Sweet Dee Dee pulled a Napolean on my ass and created Monks-Diner, the site now known as WrestlingClique.Com. Any member worth a damn left my ass, and joined the new startup site. I'm sure the guys at MySpace feel the same way over that stupid FaceBook site. Since then I've just hung out here, posting on occasion, usually bragging about my high wealth and ability to get laid. I try to be more helpful than boastful now, but sometimes I just can't help myself. How can you when you're as sweet as me?

This may actually be the longest post I've made in several months. I just hope someone reads it.

Oh poor Ino. I did go to monks, but I also stuck around and posted at JV until the site became nothing more than a few spam posts about porn or something like that. I had forgot that you admined JV at the end.

    Re: Your WC History

    - Joined PeeDubs in early '06 at the age of 15 as AC/DC_Rules. Embarrassingly I joined because I Google'd Ashley Massaro Playboy pictures and that's where I found them. /barf

    - PeeDubs was alright when I actually started posting, befriending a few people, receiving PMs especially from a member known as The Crony, still the smartest member I think I've witnessed on a forum, who helped me settle in from being a total nub to a decent member.

    - Idiot admin disliked me already I think due to some guys I got on well with, including Lemons I think.

    - One day this guy MetallicAttack (GD) was in the SB talking to Jody, who at that time I actually quite liked. After a while of talking GD PM'd me and gave me WH's URL (over five years ago now!). Weirdly Lion actually missed that for a change but sure.

    - Started off at WH as someone who just chatted in the SB, and got on very well with most people. Started posting more and got mod status in the wrestling sections I think.

    - I remember I left on holiday and when I came back Hammer had started up a site called Wrestling Pulse. He wanted me, him and TE to pretty much run the place I believe, and offered me either a S-Mod or admin spot, which caused GD who I was really close to at the time, to offer me a S-Mod spot. I stuck with WH, even though I loved both Hammer and TE.

    - I think TE then left to admin Pulse (failed pretty badly unfortunately), at the time he was S-Mod, and was probably in line for an admin spot before me, and I got bumped to admin. Admined for a few months with Lems and GD and then "left", declaring I wanted more time away from forums. Got a huge send-off from WH guys and eh...didn't leave, haha.

    - Continued to post, eventually being given a spot called WH Mascot, which essentially gave me admin powers anyways, and a lovely blue name.

    - At this time I joined Monks because DD had came over to try and "help" aka buy out WH. It was initially spreading the word of both forums I think, but eventually Dan offered to buy WH and merge it and GD accepted, much to my and a few other members distaste. In the long run this turned into a great decision though! Anyways, I didn't post much on Monks before or after the merge.

    - Started to visit more and started posting. Was given a music mod spot. Left it due to my annoyance of a lack of activity in the section I was trying so hard with.

    - Went back to my SB ways.

    - Started posting more, especially in music where once again I was given a music mod spot. Nailed two great Monks' Favourite Band/Solo Artist tourneys, with PICK 'EMs (take note Ken!). Eventually left again, I believe in a drunken rage, again due to being annoyed at lack of activity in the section.

    - Back to SB ways.

    - Posted more in wrestling sections, particularly WWE section, and once again was modded, third and final time. I was mod for a few months of the wrestling section I'd say before becoming S-Mod, with the already mentioned Jay, God, PS team.

    - Couple of months after being S-Mod I got the admin spot Jay mentioned earlier, which I work out to be two years ago roughly.

    - Also around this time I feel I helped quite a lot in starting the most successful e-fed we've had on WC with God. God did a lot more than me no doubt but I did help a little lol. Still the longest serving World Champion in it, something to write on any resumé, haha, (only lost it cause I wanted time off too!).

    - Had a great run as admin with Dan, Felix and eventually Jim when he joined us.

    - Recently left, and now happy to be a simple HOF'er on here, although I barely post anymore, I've been like that for a while I'm told though. Not on here as often as I used to be but I still call in and enjoy chatting to plenty of old and new members.

That was a lot more detailed than I intended it to be, and like a lot in here, the longest post I've done in some time. Quite fun to write down your forum history actually, nice idea Lems.

    Re: Your WC History

I joined the Jimmyvan.com board somewhere around 2004 under the name of "Blitzkrieg" (after the WCW cruiserweight) but I had been reading JV's RAW and PPV reviews for a while before that.. It was one of the first wrestling "insider" sites I had read and all the shit was new and interesting to me. As a kid, I loved wrestling, but I didn't know jack about all the NEWZ that was out there.

I finally started posting and it wasn't long before Simon/Danny Diamond made me a moderator of the wrestling zone.

DD had a big tiff with others at JVN and started his own site called Monk's Diner which I joined.. but by that point I was an Admin over at JVN.. so I posted at both sites for a while until Terry (ino) got frustrated with how I was creating alias accounts to attack the n00bs. Terry and I were always cool and still are.. but hey, I got his point.

So I posted at Monk's for a while, DD eventually made me the Admin there, and we all (him, myself, and Joe, etc.) came up with the idea of making wrestling the primary focus of the board.. so he changed the name and here we are.

I was an Administrator for a while but I got burnt out by it.. so I handed in my keys, said "fuck this" and left for a while..

I eventually started posting regularly again.

I've gone through many name changes. Blitzkrieg/Blitz/Blade/Dr. Tim Whatley/Fedor ... too many to name.

    Re: Your WC History

My forum history all started one day when I found that shit site known by most as PDubs. I never really posted there much my first month or two, just kind of lurked. Then one day a poster known as Raven started talking to me and then Jake and quite a few other people.

I bounced around from small forum to small forum after that, never really finding a place. After a messy split with the ex-wife I left forums altogether, and basically the internet.

When I got back online I was offered an admin spot at PDubs as the former admins had left and started their own site. That led me to LND where I also was an admin after awhile. Then again left both places and bounced small forum to small forum signing up at all kinds just to be an asshole.

I think I initially joined monks diner back in 06 like 5 times. Never remembering that I actually had an account. Then sometime last year came to WC and started posting regularly til the birth of my daughter. Now I don't really do forums because I don't have the time nor the dedication, although I check in every few days.

I'm sure there is a lot more but I am to lazy to want to type all of it out in a detailed timeline that would take me about a day.

    Re: Your WC History

It all started a long time ago(2002) in a galaxy far far away(high school). my sophomore year i was in computer class and my friend was all, "yo i get all my wrestling news from knowyournews.com you gotta check it out. after awhile of checking out the site I noticed a message board. i signed up with a name i can't even remember(B_DaWg maybe?). I became friends with a groupd called "The Dangerous Minds" we had our own mini forum section. I remember members like Dave Da Game and Titus. eventually I stopped visiting when i stopped watching wrestling.

About a year or so after I returned as iTPo0pAgAiN which was a reference from the Adam Sandler movie, Billy Madison. i was like 18 and thought it was cute. By now I think it was merged with monksdiner.com. I didn't post a whole lot and people HATED my name. Here is proof: http://wrestlingclique.com/general-d...poopagain.html Simon(who is now DD) decided to make a poll to get me a new name. the winner turned out to be The Shiz which wasn't much different but easier to say at least. I posted regularly in the raw live thread and tried to make a bunch of Gen. Discussion threads that pretty much went nowhere because i was a nub(still am). I ended up moving out of town and joining college in 2005 so I rarely visited the forums.

I ended up getting drunk most of the time and dropping out of college and ended up getting Fired from my job at Best Western so I moved back to the town I reside in today. During my unemployment I requested a name change(or maybe I just made a new account) for Duke and started to post a lot more and spend a majority of my time in the shoutbox causing some ruckus. Around this time was when it turned to wrestlingclique.com I'm not really sure why but people then started to take a liking to me. I think it had something to do with the shorter name(definitely not my posting).

I met a young poster by the name of A-Bomb10(now known as Balla) and took him under my wing. I showed him the ropes and we became a pretty good tag team even tho he was pretty bipolar. One day he'd love something and the next day he'd call me a *** for liking it. Eventually I performed a heel turn on him and broke out on my own. He ended up getting banned and probably died.

Since then I have became Video Game mod and sit here typing this auto biography. I am Hall of Fame in my mind and my mind only.

I eventually become Smod and get offered Admin but I respectfully decline. Years later I die of old age.
